Thank you to the team who did a 2-day removal for us from Tring to Edwinstowe. Initially, a team of four loaded the lorry carefully and conscientiously. They were very friendly, hard-working and good-humoured throughout. The same day Gareth and Brad drove the lorry to our new home to offload some and then reliably met us at the door in the morning at the agreed time. What made this company stand out was that both Gareth and Brad made the removals the least stressful experience of the moving process! Would highly recommend it. Thanks guys.

The three guys who moved us provided a great service throughout the day. They handled our belongings carefully and were friendly and courteous. Despite having some challenges gaining access to our new property which caused quite a delay, they were understanding and worked really hard to make up the lost time. The whole experience was a very positive one

They moved us smoothly and professionally to the agreed schedule but were still flexible as some stuff had to go to storage, this was all done without any issues whatsoever. From start to finish, Steve, Shenda, Louise and the team were absolutely brilliant. We used them to remove our furniture and personal effects from our house in Berkhamsted, store everything for about 7 months then move us into our new home in Lymington. Great service from the office team (Shenda, Louise and Steve) and a smooth removal process on the day. Never any trouble for extra boxes, bubble wrap, tape etc and deposit returned quickly once boxes had been taken back. The move was discussed and the date for moving changed many times due to other factors. It was easy to make contact and check with them, and the move went smoothly as far as the physical transport of our contents was concerned. We would always be happy to recommend Steve and his crew for any home removals.

It is always said that one of the most stressful things in life is moving home and whilst I never wish to again I cannot recommend highly enough Steve and his team. We had several delayed exchanges because of legal problems but the operations team would always bend over backwards to accommodate the move of 2 properties into 1 (and possibly but luckily not, into storage). When it eventually came to the move the packers were careful, friendly and considering of the need to live overnight in the property. The movers were hard working, friendly and could not do enough to oblige even when changing minds as to whether a box should be on the ground or second floor. The staff of In Excess show a strong loyalty to their organisation and are a credit to them. Highly recommended.

I was very anxious about moving house but from the moment Steve Yates arrived to give estimate things became so much easier. On the day the team of three, Shenda, Jordan and Team Leader Lee took care of everything! They were very professional, yet friendly, courteous and extremely hard working. I was downsizing and the house size (plus the parking arrangements) caused several problems that I assumed could not be solved; I was so wrong, the ingenious methods they came up with to get large pieces of furniture up a very narrow staircase amazed me!!!! In-Excess provided the type of service that one only imagines still exists. They were incredibly supportive and flexible in finding a way to help at very short notice. When out move was then split into two separate moves they were not remotely flustered and quickly found an extremely helpful and effective solution. On and prior to the move dates the entire team were extremely helpful, always cheerful and took very good care of us as a customer and of all our belongings. Nothing was too much trouble and they took care of us, communicating clearly and consistently at all times making our move process as stress free as possible. Dan, Neil and Freddie were excellent, they were professional and extremely respectful of our property. They were efficient and very helpful. We had the full packing service and it was worth every penny it took the stress out of packing a three bedroom house. We moved over 180 miles to our new home and everything was packaged very well we couldn’t be more happy with the service we received. Also Steve was the only person who came out to the house in person to assess the cost of the move, other companies would not come out and couldn’t guarantee the price but In-Excess knew exactly what was required to provide a competitive price. Louise was fantastic when we rang the office, friendly service and a pleasure to speak to. A first class service from start to finish a great company and staff that care.

This was our 4th move in 5 years and was, without doubt, the best by a long way. From start to finish, In Excess Removals dealt with us in a friendly and professional manner and provided a first class service at a very reasonable price. The packers did a great job at protecting our valuables and the moving team were careful and really helpful. I could not recommend them more highly and only wish we had found them before!

We have used In-Excess Removals twice, and they've always been incredibly helpful, arranging and friendly. They just make everything so easy, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Due to circumstances we had a very limited date window for our move, but from the very first phone call with Shanda I was put at ease, Steve did a very comprehensive survey in person and at very short notice. During exchange of contracts there was a problem in the chain, but Louise was very helpful and calming. Our move was over a 3 day period (due to size of load and distance moved) and involved two lorries. Roadworks outside of our house and not having a drive large enough to take the lorry did not help. However Freddie and his team were excellent, they were all cheerful and worked hard loading all of our stuff, but were very careful and we had no damages. The unloading at our new home went like clockwork, we were amazed at how fast these boys could move and despite us occasionally changing our minds as to where boxes were to go they were still talking to us at the end of the day!!! Throughout the whole experience In-Excess were very professional, courteous and made the move stress free for us. We would definitely recommend them.

Almost 10 years to the day since In-Excess last moved our family home - they moved us again. This time we had more belongings and we were glad that In-Excess did the packing for us. Despite the additional challenges of COVID-19 our move was handled professionally and with the care and attention we would expect. I would not hesitate to recommend the In-Excess team, perhaps we'll need them again in 10 years time!
