We have used In-Excess Removals twice, and they've always been incredibly helpful, arranging and friendly. They just make everything so easy, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Due to circumstances we had a very limited date window for our move, but from the very first phone call with Shanda I was put at ease, Steve did a very comprehensive survey in person and at very short notice. During exchange of contracts there was a problem in the chain, but Louise was very helpful and calming. Our move was over a 3 day period (due to size of load and distance moved) and involved two lorries. Roadworks outside of our house and not having a drive large enough to take the lorry did not help. However Freddie and his team were excellent, they were all cheerful and worked hard loading all of our stuff, but were very careful and we had no damages. The unloading at our new home went like clockwork, we were amazed at how fast these boys could move and despite us occasionally changing our minds as to where boxes were to go they were still talking to us at the end of the day!!! Throughout the whole experience In-Excess were very professional, courteous and made the move stress free for us. We would definitely recommend them.

I just had to say what a great service I received from start to finish. I had to have all my house contents in Hertfordshire put into storage for 5 months. The guys who moved me out of my house were very helpful and made the process very straightforward. Once I had moved down to the South Coast I arrange for the return out of storage which was equally as easy. With a small entrance, I was amazed that they got all my furniture through the gap. Everything was put where I asked and not one thing was broken. Very impressed with a very good and trustworthy removal and storage company. 10/10

We found moving home to be a very long and, in our case, arduous road. Then along came In-Excess. By the time the guys arrived to load the lorries we were shattered, but they made sure we didn't have to lift a finger from that point on, always chirpy and positive but professional in a way that we knew our possessions were in safe hands. The delivery to Norfolk was just as efficient. In spite of the distance they arrived early and cracked on relentlessly until everything was in the new house. In the office too, the girls were efficient and helpful. When they said they'd call back, they did so promptly. Lee was methodical on the logistics side as we had potentially difficult access restrictions but we needn't have worried.

Both my wife and I would highly recommend In-Excess Removals. From the initial quotation, through to the communication with the back office team and then the fantastic professionalism carried out by the movers on the day. We will certainly highly recommend them.

In Excess couldn't have been more helpful from the initial enquiry to the last minute of the actual moving day. Their staff are all cheerful, experienced and well trained with a can-do attitude which was a refreshing change from previous local removal companies we have used. That, combined with a flexible and realistic way of working made moving a lot less stressful. Offering helpful suggestions and solutions their team got the job done and made it look easy.

In-Excess Removals were simply brilliant. From the initial quote survey, through the whole stressful process of will we/won’t we complete, to moving day itself, they were absolutely fantastic (and very calming!). The quote (we got several) was clear and detailed, and we felt that we were in the hands of experienced professionals who know exactly what they are doing. They provided us with all of the boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap that we needed to pack up our precious belongings. I couldn’t believe how quickly everything was loaded onto the trucks, and then unloaded at our new home, 60 miles away. Yet this was all done with such care. The guys on the day were polite, friendly and good humoured, which was lovely. They were very careful and respectful of our old home, and our new one. There wasn’t a single breakage, and all of the boxes went to exactly the right rooms. If we ever have to move again, we will be asking In-Excess to move us.

In-Excess provided the type of service that one only imagines still exists. They were incredibly supportive and flexible in finding a way to help at very short notice. When out move was then split into two separate moves they were not remotely flustered and quickly found an extremely helpful and effective solution. On and prior to the move dates the entire team were extremely helpful, always cheerful and took very good care of us as a customer and of all our belongings. Nothing was too much trouble and they took care of us, communicating clearly and consistently at all times making our move process as stress free as possible. I could not recommend them more highly, thank you so very much.

We contacted In Excess for our move and cannot fault the service they provided. They were extremely professional from start to finish, and nothing was too much for them. The team in the office were very helpful and friendly responding to all of my enquiries, and the removal team on the day were superb!! Freddie and his team made the entire process stress free and handled every item with such care. I would highly recommend using these guys and would gladly use them again in the future. They are an extremely professional company from top to bottom.

We were returning customers to In-Excess as they moved us in 2009, and they were brilliant again in 2021. They moved us smoothly and professionally to the agreed schedule but were still flexible as some stuff had to go to storage, this was all done without any issues whatsoever. Very friendly and hardworking team, good communication, helpful and good value.

We had 2 removals, 1 week apart both from the South to the North. Both moves went exceptionally smoothly. Both sets of removal teams were extremely professional and friendly. Great packing too. Super quick. Could not fault. Highly recommend. Very reasonable on cost.

I really can't speak highly enough of the whole In-Excess removal team. From day 1 when Steve came to visit and discuss our options and the process, through to dealing with Shenda and the office, through to the final packing and moving the whole team have been brilliant. We felt totally supported by the In-Excess team and during a very stressful period trying to exchange and get final dates so we could book the removal dates with In-Excess, Shenda and her colleagues were brilliant in supporting us and helping us get the move booked and progressed. The actual removal team were polite, friendly, careful and a pleasure to have in both the old and new house. The move went very quickly and smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend In-Excess to anyone moving to the Hemel\Berkhamsted area.
