IN'n'OUT Autocentres Basildon

My car developed an oil pressure issue in February 2024. I quickly took it to in and out autos in Basildon. They diagnosed as a faulty cam carrier and had to replace the wet belt. Once fixed I got the car back and subsequently it had an oil leak. I returned the car and they said it had developed another issue causing the oil leak and they needed to repair a different issue a faulty gasket cover and seal. This was fixed and my car returned to me, within a few weeks I noticed it was still leaking oil. On my 3rd return to the garage they said all previous works were fine and it needed a faulty turbo replaced at great cost! I got the car back a 3rd time and again it was still leaking oil. I then decided this garage and the people in charge could not be trusted with any further diagnostics or repairs and took it to the Vauxhall garage. Vauxhall confirmed the work carried out on my car on two separate repairs were incorrectly done and caused the oil to leak. Vauxhall fixed my car in one trip and I have had no further oil leaks since. I contact IN’n’Out Ho and got told to send details over, the site manager of Basildon Michael called me to discuss and was quite frankly ridiculous in his belief that I should of taken my car back to them a 4th time so they had a chance to diagnose an issue that they missed and then exacerbated on 3 different visits to that garage! I asked for them to reimburse me for the costs of the repairs I had to incur from Vauxhall and so far they have refused.

I took in my Dacia Duster as it was running erratically with engine warning sign and various faults displayed on my dash, expecting to have spark plugs and coils changed after a lengthy conversation with the gentleman at the front desk. I received a call back a couple of hours later to say that I can come collect my car and that they couldn't find any faults and cleared the error codes. The car was running just fine at no charge. They didn't even charge me for the diagnostics! You can't get more honest than that! Thank you guys!

Work carried out in a very professional manner. Covid rules applied. Quality of work high cost of work done was very reasonable. Work completed in a good time frame. Also customer service very good

My husband had used this garage to replace a prop shaft so I thought I would try them out with an MOT and service for my SLK. Really simple booking process online - the website is really easy to use. When I arrived at the garage for my allotted time they were really professional and very helpful. The quality of work and attention to detail is very good. All I needed was a light bulb replaced - which they did for a very small fee. Would highly recommend this garage.

I went into In’N’Out to book a MOT. They were able to carry out the work immediately, with no fuss. The work took about 40 minutes to complete and at a good price. They have an excellent customer lounge with a viewing window and a free tea and coffee machine. I would always use this centre in the future. Thank you.

Friendly, professional and reasonable prices. I trust these guys-unlike some other garages locally they don't create unnecessary work so they can make extra money. Would definitely recommend.

They did a interim service, everything when very well the reception was excellent they were very professional the fitter who worked on my car was superb communication was excellent I was even told about a couple of problems that needed doing, I would definitely use them again.

Took my car for it's MOT they were very helpful and friendly and explained what was needed for my MOT would definitely be going there again. Pleasant gentleman.

Came here last year for service and MOT which went well, so thought I'd give them a try for new front break pads. They offered a reasonable price. I work near them so dropped car off at lunchtime, was booked in for 2.30pm but they called me at that time to say it was completed. They informed my about everything I needed to know about driving after having breaks changed. Very friendly and explain everything properly. Think I've just found my new garage. Happy with the service.

I went in for my cars mot and I was really nervous being my first mot on my car. Unfortunately it failed and they explained what was the issue so I was able to understand and they managed to get me booked in to fix my car and get my car passed its mot. They were friendly, professional and I will happily return here for any work that is needed.

Recently went in for M.O.T on my Nissan. Very friendly team for an early morning, my vehicle was first on the ramp and work began earlier than I expected which was great as I had just finished a night shift. think I've found my new local, will definitely be back. Efficient and very reasonably priced.

Fast friendly polite great service great price work started on my car within 5 minutes of arrival sat in a warm waiting area with my free coffee and free WiFi. My car passed but I was told of a couple of minor points that needed my attention over all very happy with my experience will be using them again.

Took two vehicles in: got a discount! Jobs done on time and at cost quoted. Got brakes replaced at same time without delaying the completion time. Great job. Willl be back next year!

Great value and very quick service. I was very pleased with the service I received, my car was moted in no time at all. Very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend and will be going back with my other car when needed.

I have been to "in and out" a few times, both for work and services and MOT and have never been disappointed with the quality of the work done, the length of time taken to do the work, or the price charged. This last time, the master cylinder on the clutch needed to be replaced and although I only phoned our local In and Out on the Tuesday, they fitted me in and the work was completed and I collected the car by lunchtime on Wednesday. It truly was In and Out.

Great price for MOT and very fast and friendly service. I needed a couple of minor things rectified to pass and these were done straight away and for a good price. Recommended.

I enquired first about services they offered. First impression, they were informative and very helpful. Booked the service. Even received a text to remind me car was booked for Friday. Car went in on time, and was called later, as agreed, that car was ready. Paid the price that I was told at time of booking, no hidden extras. On pick up, service explained, book stamped and detailed invoice. Really impressed, would definitely recommend them. Real value for money.

I visited IN'n'OUT for the first time and I was amazed by their reception and very friendly service. I missed my earlier appointment and immediately the garage called me and was able to fit me in later on that same day . I was so thankful to Alan. I got my car serviced on time and was told about any extra work that needed doing on my car. The guys there are excellent and very very efficient. My overall experience was great! and strongly recommend IN'n'OUT garage to others!
