After our experiences with Bristol centre MOT on Tesla Model X would suggest that no Tesla owner goes within a mile of this place. The car went in working normally and came out with the door locking electronics completely messed up. Still struggling to get it fixed. They did not respond to a telephone message and an in person message so clearly don't care and don't know what they are doing with electric cars in spite of claiming they did work for Tesla dealer. Three previous MOTs with another sadly now closed company were without any issues.

I would very much appreciate it if you could update it as I have been in correspondence with you and as you are aware we are waiting for a full diagnostics from Tesla to ascertain the fault and what caused it. Been using for the last couple of years, the good reviews made me switch.This time I'm feeling sceptical, not the reason why my Ford Smax failed, but due to the fact that after I left the branch on my way home the clutch pedal didn't want to come all the way to the top and was making a grinding noise when the pedal is pressed half way. Also noticed a rattling noise that I didn't have before and upon further inspection, found that to be one of the advisories, exhaust heat shield on fuel tank deteriorated. My point is, advisories and identifying major defects is the purpose for an mot, although leaving something hanging deliberately when it wasnt to start with its just wrong. Rung in for the retest,1hr later arrived as told. Handed the key and the refusal certificate to one of the technicians and mentioned that all the ticked advisories/refusals had been done. Not long after the same technician came to get the car bringing a disposable seat cover, however no gloves. Drove my car in and proceeded with inspecting the repairs (no gloves used at any point). After a while I went in asking if all was ok and was invited to go out and was told by the technician yes and he would bring it to me outside. He drove my car out,handed me the keys and both certificates (refusal and pass). I noticed a repair I had carried out but still was still on the advisories. I questioned why that advisory was still there, he said I had not told him (not true) followed by "you got your pass anyway" I said nothing and left.

Poor service & poor customer service at the garage, very expensive, and have done something to my rear lights on re-test as not functioning correctly but are passing the blame.

Unable to carry out repairs

Booked and paid online for interim service and MOT, prior to my visit. MOT failure on oil leak, exhaust blowing, somewhere in the middle! and suspension bushes. Then told, we can't repair it. For a company that advertises that they repair small commercial vehicles, I was shocked. If I knew beforehand that this was the case, I would have gone to a proper garage. Having failed the MOT we agreed that the interim service would not be carried out. Then went to collect keys . Was then asked for £39 for the MOT. I explained that I had already paid to be told pay another £39 and claim all my previous payments from head office, as we can't give refunds. Still waiting for refund. Not resolved.

I have a Nissan Juke which had a sudden failure in my air-con. The past couple of weeks with the temperature being so high, if I turned on the air-con. it was like sitting in a fan-oven. I contacted my local Nissan dealer, and I found them very unhelpful, so having had many services done in the past by IN'n'OUT I decided to ask if they could help, they said, "leave it with us and we will call you back in about an hour." When I asked the price, they said due to the model being fairly new, it could be about £110. When I came back to pick the car up, the manager said: "I have two bits of good news for you, first, the car is freezing cold inside, and the second bit of good news, the bill is only £59". Before I used your garage for services and MOT, most garages I had been to would not have been so honest, and it has been for that reason, I keep coming back. Thank you and your staff for being so helpful and friendly.

Great service and friendly helpful staff. Good work reasonably priced by good tradesmen, were able to fit me in at short notice and have helped me out in the past when I needed some work done in a hurry and I have already booked in my next job to be done.

We have used In'n'Out many times and have always found them to be speedy in getting things fixed and sorted, even if they do not have the part in stock they generally can get it delivered within the hour and on your car shortly after that, and with the convenient location near the Mall/Cribbs Causeway, there is plenty to keep you occupied while waiting. They are very trustworthy, only doing what needs to be done and letting you know there is more life in a part (like a tyre/brake etc) instead of getting you to spend more like some garages. The staff are always friendly and helpful, highly recommend!
