We had Mike and his team fit a new kitchen for us. We were really pleased with the work done and delighted with the end result. Mike was full of good advice from the first consultation and we had confidence in his team of professionals throughout. They communicated well with us and each other so that time on the job was well managed. Their work was of a high standard and the team took pride in their work. They were pleasant and easy to have around and took trouble to minimise disruption when possible. They returned to sort out minor snags very quickly. Mike and his team did an absolutely outstanding job in transforming our home for us. We are really delighted with what he has achieved (it has excelled all our expectations) and we would strongly recommend Mike to anyone. The quality of the finish he produces is exceptional, he is a pleasure to work with and have in your home, and he operates the perfect balance of listening to what you want and delivering it, and also helping steer you in the right direction if you are uncertain about anything or want to hear the options. He is very creative so comes up with some great ideas and options you may not have thought of to get the best out of your space! Ours was quite a major project in our Victorian terrace, including structural works to convert a very run down kitchen and bathroom into a kitchen-diner which flows onto the garden, and then creating a bathroom upstairs in a room previously used as a bedroom. The end results are really stunning - Mike has managed to transform some really quite dark, depressing spaces into light-filled family rooms which are a pleasure to be in. We can't quite believe it is the same house. From the very outset Mike's quote was the most detailed and fairest, and he is completely honest, trustworthy and reliable. His team go above and beyond to deliver the project quickly, looking after your home, and being so respectful in terms of causing the least disruption possible. At the root of it all, beyond Mike's exceptional skill & attention to detail, is the fact that he genuinely cares about delivering something excellent which is just as you want it; he & the team are willing to work tirelessly to give that to you. We have experience of quite a few projects and we believe that is something a bit special which is quite rare to find. We will definitely be calling on Mike for phase 2 in the house. We couldn't really entrust the job to anyone else now we know what Inspired Projects can achieve!

We chose Mike to build our kitchen extension on the strength of positive comments on this website, and now it's finished we're glad we did. Mike has been a pleasure to work with. Nothing is too much trouble and we have enjoyed our regular discussions with him about managing the project. We have always been confident that he wanted to ensure we were happy with the end result. This was quite an ambitious project for us, requiring co-ordination of inputs of labour and materials from a number of sources, but Mike has kept it under control and seen it through to a successful conclusion. Ammi and his team did a great job on the main build and their bricklaying and pointing in particular has been much admired. In terms of value for money, I don't think we could have done better than engage Mike and his team at Inspired Projects.

Mike and his team (mainly Dave and Steve) recently fitted a new kitchen for us. Not only were they a pleasure to have in the house, but they clearly care about doing a good job and the quality of the work was excellent. We had no qualms about honesty, trustworthiness or professionalism and will call upon Mike in the future when another project arises.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and his team to anyone undertaking a major home refurbishment project. Having decided to reconfigure the ground floor space in our 1930's semi, we found an architect and then shared the plans with three builders. We found it easy to relate to Mike from the outset, and after seeing a similar project on which he was working, deciding to use his talents was an easy choice. Between our first meeting in November 2013 and the start date on 1st April 2014, Mike introduced to the members of his team. With them we were able to discuss our requirements and refine our choices, using their considerable expertise and it was obvious that they were engaged in the aim for us to achieve the best solutions for our project. This involved converting the integral garage into a shower room and utility area with access from the hallway; removing the wall separating the old lounge from the kitchen at the rear of the house to create a spacious kitchen dining area, with bifold doors opening on to the back garden; and the installation of underfloor heating, zoned, to the whole of the ground floor. Upstairs we completely refurbished our four bedrooms, which included replacing a ceiling, replastering throughout, and refitting and modernising our bathroom. The whole house was rewired, with extra power and lighting circuits in the garden, and the plumbing was renewed throughout using a megaflow high pressure system. Because of the scale of the work, my husband and I moved out and were only able to visit once a week to review progress. This is when we came to fully appreciate Mike's skill as a communicator. We received e-mails, phone calls and texts whenever decisions had to be made or to update us on progress, accompanied by photos. He kept track of payments on a spread sheet, which was extremely useful. He was very flexible when we changed our minds, were a bit slow with some decisions, and brought in an interior designer with exacting standards - fortunately she found no fault with Mike's workmanship and wants to use him again! Although there were a few hiccups with the supply of bathroom and kitchen fittings, Mike coped with any problem with good humour and always came up with a solution. He was 100% reliable, honest, hard working and a great project manager.

Mike fitted a new bathroom for us earlier this year (March 2014) and we were delighted with the result, and the way in which he and Rob went about the job. As others have mentioned, Mike was incredibly helpful from the outset - taking the time to understand what we wanted on his initial and follow-up visit, and answering the many questions we had before work could commence. He gave us many tips on where to source materials and what things we needed to look out for, and is always looking to keep the budget down where possible. Once underway, Mike and Rob got on with the job swiftly, tidily and professionally, and always sought our input where any clarification was needed. Ever when we were probably driving them mad with requests, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was finished to a very high standard, and when we discovered one of the tiles was unfortunately permanently marked (not their fault), Mike and Rob came back to remove it and install a replacement - this was quite a tricky job, but they did it with good grace. It's this kind of attention to customer satisfaction that goes such a long way. In terms of price, I found Mike to be cheaper than some quotes I received, and provided a clearer quote, too - very fair value for money I would say.

Mike and his team have just completed a series of projects for us and we would recommend his services without hesitation. Our initial discussions with Mike took place last April when we were in two minds as to how to achieve our goal of a new family space; build an extension or knock through two rooms. Mike came along one evening and was very engaging from the start and was happy to quote us for two projects. We did get another three quotes, but we got on with Mike from the ÔøΩget goÔøΩ as he is such a very nice guy and decided to engage his services for our project, which began in September. Mike knocked through our back reception to our kitchen, sourced the Fabricator for out steel work, unified the space to a plaster finish, blocked up the existing kitchen door, arranged for some new lighting to be installed, installed our new kitchen and helped with some general finishing off. Along the way he is always happy to offer his advice and shares his resources readily. We are so very glad we engaged the services of Mike, nothing is too much trouble, and he is very good with communications, also a nice person to have in your home. We did stumble upon a few problems along the way but Mike is never one to get flustered and offers solutions quickly, he really does like to please his customer and his work is of a high standard, furthermore any snags you may have are quickly sorted out. He does have a number of other people working with him all of whom are easy to get along with, in particular Ami and his crew - very, very hard working team who just want to get the job done, no shirking goes on with this lot ! Our work was completed just before Christmas and Mike was as keen as us to get the work completed, providing excellent client satisfaction is a non-negotiable for Mike and he does take great pride in his work which is very reassuring. If we ever need any other home improvements done in the future Mike is now on our speed dial!

Mike did some really complex bathroom renovation work for us in our period Victorian house. A largish bathroom was converted to a slightly smaller bathroom and separate toilet. We were so pleased with the work that we added on a job to renovate our very small en suite shower room. All three are immaculate and the two bathrooms look larger than the ever did before (despite the fact that one of them actually reduced in size!). Mike was excellent throughout: communicative and responsive. He also stuck to the budgets and quotes he gave us. Highly receommended.

Mike has just completed the refurbishment of our bathroom. He did a fantastic job and always took the care and attention to do things properly. We were always kept informed about progress, problems etc and he always took the time to get our input when there were decisions to be made. He was patient with the delays caused by our supplier and worked around this. He was a pleasure to have in the house and is a real professional. He is skilled at a range of trades but also has a number of guys who do work for him who are equally professional and capable. Mike's attitude, approach and ability are exactly what you want when having work done in your house. Of all the quotes we had, Mike was not the cheapest, but I have no doubt in my mind that he was the best. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough.

We used Mike and his team recently to knock through our kitchen and dining room into an open plan kitchen area. Even before we committed to giving Mike the work, he was always quick to offer advice on the work itself and where to source a variety of things for the kitchen Mike was always on hand throughout the project, keeping us updated by email, phone or text on a regular basis as to progress and, where we reached unforeseen problems, always quick to find a solution that worked for all parties without compromising on quality or affecting the overall costs. This was the first large scale building project we have had done but due to the work ethic, honesty and sense of humour in Mike's team, they made a very stressful project as painless as it could be - I would not hesitate to have Mike or his team back to do future work and I would strongly recommend them to others

Contacted Mr Kouzaris by phone on Friday explaining what I wanted him to do. He asked for details to be sent to him by email detailing the problems that I wished to have investigated and quoted for. He duly replied regretting that he was unable to help on the specific matters in question as one of his main contacts was away. He advised me to contact another contact he had, regarding the roof of the house I am intending to purchasing, who is another Which Local recommendation. It is refreshing to have tradesmen who reply and offer alternative help to a problem. If I need any work carried out on the house in future I have no hesitation to use his services.

Our's was a large project involving knocking walls out, entire new kitchen and bathroom and total redecoration throughout. During the 5 months of working with Mike, he has always been a fantastic communicator; he updated us in detail regularly, and he was always positive, honest, polite, good humoured and reliable. Great problem solver,with valuable recommendations on sourcing stuff and saving money. Whole project has been a pleasure because of Mike and his team of chaps, that without exception have been hardworking, really friendly and skilled at their jobs. Delighted by end result and would whole heartedly recommend him to all for any size project.

We're so glad we chose to call Mike after reading the reviews of his team's work. It's been a pleasure to meet and get to know him and the work is fantastic. What was a nightmare kitchen, with lath and plaster ceilings and walls is now a streamlined grown up space. Our only regret is that we didn't meet him sooner when other bits of the house were crying out for attention! His team are reliable, trustworthy, effective and do a great job. The new plastering is excellent and better than we had hoped. He has good ideas for problem areas and, as other reviewers have stated, he always has good contacts should another skill be required. We would highly recommend Mike and his team and hope to work with him again soon - hopefully he'll still be available after all these good reviews!!!!!!?!

We used Mike earlier this year to totally renovate our hideous dingy 1970's kitchen & he did a BRILLIANT job! He was very patient through various re-workings of ideas until we came in on budget & came up with lots of helpful suggestions & money saving tips. By combining basic ikea units with other bits & pieces we now have a bright, spacious, expensive looking kitchen. The project involved moving walls, lots of plastering & a fair bit of plumbing & tiling & all of Mike's colleagues that he brought in were friendly & efficient. The only slight downside was a rather slow decorator. We have since used Mike to fit us with a whole wall of cupboards/shelves in the lounge & again he has done an excellent job & it only took him half a day. We look forward to working with him again in the future for phase 2 of the upstairs makeover. Overall great communication throughout, very reasonably priced & a really nice guy.

Mike and his team have done a fantastic job with our bathroom, as well as redecorating quite a large part of the rest of the house. Mike gave sensible and practical advise on material, work and costs, and always ensured that costs of material or new work was known upfront. He has done a great job bringing in the right people on time - from plumbers and electricians to carpenters - and managing their work.

Mike is absolutely charming. It has been a pleasure to work with him and his team. He has been completely straight with me, and I really appreciate that. He is very good at listening to what IÍm trying to say, and staying fixed on what IÍve asked. He had the skills and courage to completely transform our Victorian bathroom, and put in a really beautiful solution that was exactly what we wanted. He never compromised the quality of the finished product. The whole project came in on budget, and the end result was much better than we expected. We found Mike through this site to do a small job (blocking off 3 brick vents and replastering) in a recently purchased house. Communication was exemplary and mike went out of his way to make sure his quote was accurate and fitted in with my schedule. The work could have only taken one day, but Mike is a perfectionist so came back the next day (a sunday) to finish to ensure the plaster was dry and talked me through in detail what he was doing and what to do after he was finished. On top of all this he is a genuine guy and i look forward to doing more business with him in the future.

We found Mike through Which? Local and used him for many jobs, mostly small and short term niggling jobs, but he treated every job with the gusto you would wish for and want from a tradesman. We recomended him to friends and family and even my boss! And the recomendations seem to be keep rolling on from there. We used Mike for a long time and when it came to move to our new house there was only one person we wanted. We consulted Mike and discussed many options for our new kitchen, which was no small job. Mike was professional, engaged, interested and often went above and beyond the levels of help you would expect from a builder. Mike turned a tired old dark space into a fantastic open plan, state of the art kitchen diner that looks twice as much as we paid! Fit and finish is perfect. I get the feeling with Mike that no matter what job, big or small, he treats it as if he was working on his own property. Builders like this are rare and when they give you a CD of their work at the end you know you are dealing with someone who is proud of what they do!

He did the bathroom of the flat I let. The old bath broke and he redid the pipes, put a new bath, covered the old floorboards with ply, tiled floor and bath corner walls and plastered and painted other remaining walls and ceiling. The bathroom looks fantastic. He is also a lovely guy.
