I used Ipsum renewables to install solar panels and a storage battery, alongside the installation of a hot water booster and a car charging port. I can't recommend them highly enough. They explained my options clearly, conducted a survey quickly and provided a detailed itemised quote. During the installation itself, they carried out the works carefully and efficiently and then took the time to explain all the features of the systems and how I could maximise the benefits. All of their staff were polite, tidy and considerate.

We had a solar PV installation consisting of 10 panels with optimisers, an inverter and battery. In my opinion there are a few things that make a company fantastic to deal with: - They answer the phone - They ring you back when they say they will - They do what they say they?ll do, when they say they?ll do it, first time - They're friendly and listen to you - They suggest sensible things that you hadn't thought of, without being pushy - They?re properly accredited to do what they do - They work with care and attention to detail - They continue to do all of the above after the job is complete - Their prices are competitive It?s rare to find a company that tick all these boxes. Ipsum Renewables is one that does, as we experienced through the process of getting solar panels & battery fitted and subsequently as we have dealt with a few minor niggles.

I had a Solar PV system with a battery and 10 panels installed by Ipsum and I am very pleased with the work and the outcome. I had quotes from three suppliers and knowing which one to choose is difficult as they all proposed different systems, but Ipsum answered all of my questions promptly and offered the solution which I felt offered the best value.

From the initial appointment to the completion of the work we were completely confident that we had made the right choice with Ipsum Renewables. Luke had a thorough check of our roof to determine what was required, had a chat with us about what would be best with no sales pressure at any time. We were given a time frame of the work and documentation, which was kept to. The fitters and electricians were really friendly and explained how the system worked. We had 14 panels, an inverter and battery fitted and all is working well. An important thing that I haven't mentioned is that the price was competitive compared to other companies.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We had several quotes for solar panels. Ipsum was not the cheapest but it was the most comprehensive and thorough and importantly no pressure. All follow up questions were dealt with until we made our final decision. Date of installation was planned and adhered to. Excellent cleanliness and protection of home while the team were working on installation. Since installation Luke has been amazing supporting us with use of the app and helping us to use the solar panels to maximum benefit and I have no doubt that this aftercare will continue. An amazingly efficient team.

I have used Ipsum Renewables to have solar panels fitted on the front and back roof and a battery with inverter in the cellar. I used this company because friends had used them and were delighted with their work. They in turn had watched their neighbour using them and he too was happy. So felt this was a good introduction. I sent them an email, the office got back to that day and we arranged there would be a site visit early the following week. When that happened we discussed where I wanted the panels and where the battery etc. could go. They sent me a very full proposal and costings, which I thought reasonable, two days later and I accepted. A few days later they phoned to check whether the dates they were proposing were convenient. They were. The scaffolders came the day before and were very polite and efficient. A team of four people came the next day (two electricians and two people working on the roof). Unfortunately once they got onto the roof at the front, they found it wasn't in a good enough condition to install the panels. They asked me what I wanted to do and we agreed they would install the panels at the rear of the property and complete all the electrical installations that day. They would then store the other panels until I arranged the re-roofing, and then return. Initially I had to leave the date when that would happen open as roofers are very busy at present! They did a very good job, explained the system to me, tidied up and took all the packaging with them when they left. From the initial enquiry to having the panels installed was just under six weeks and I look forward to having the rest of the panels installed in about six or seven weeks time when that part of the roof has been sorted out. I should mention that given the position of the house it was very difficult to see the state of the problematic roof without having the scaffolding in place. I would very much recommend this firm - just as it was recommended to me.

I had a Solar PV and battery installation completed by Ipsum in March 2023. Prior to this I gathered multiple quotes from various suppliers, Ipsum's quote stood out as it was highly detailed, including exact placement of panels. Between quotation and installation they were highly responsive to all questions asked. The installation itself was brief, completed in under a day. The installers were conscientious and all conducted themselves professionally. I was asked specific questions during the day, and likewise kept up to date with progress at key points. Post-installation has also been a good experience, with great communication to any questions I've had. There have been no surprises, the quoted work was the exact work completed. It should be noted they were not the cheapest quote I had, but I'm happy with my decision to use them for the installation.

We had 9 solar panels, inverter and battery fitted on 15th Feb 2023. 2 electricians worked in the house and 2 installers worked on the roof. The scaffolding was erected the day before. They arrived at 8am and were finished by 4pm. Everything was explained to us and cleared up before they left. After the installation we contacted Luke Brown, the Director, for information about charging the battery on cheap electricity at night. He was very helpful and supportive. Because, on a sunny day, we export quite a lot of electricity to the grid, we decided to have a second battery fitted. This was fitted yesterday, 06.04.2023, by the same electricians that fitted the original system. All the staff we have encountered have been very professional, knowledgeable and polite. We would have no hesitation on recommending them for solar installation
