Following a phone call which detailed the scale of charges and the likely process of identifying and remedying the water leak, a member of the team arrived at the allotted time. I, however, had my phone switched off and missed the doorbell and the messages. Once I realised what had happened, I phoned Rob back and he had already arranged for someone else to come out. He duly arrived, identified the problem and contacted the office to see if he could go and get the required parts to finish the job there and then. This was granted. On his return, he completed the job, despite having cut his hand open when going to Wickes for the parts. No amount of persuasion that he deal with his hand rather than the stopcock had any effect. This was way above and beyond what anyone might reasonably expect.

I telephoned Platinum Plumbers late yesterday afternoon as my Mother's boiler was making a strange smell. Unfortunately unable to get to me the same day the Plumber arrived promptly at 8 am this morning, quickly diagnosed the fault, replaced the part and carried out a full test of the system. I cant fault the service that Platinum Plumbers has provided. Responsive service and excellent value for money.

We had the Platinum plumbers guys come in to diagnose a few faults with our existing Combi boiler so they came in a few days later to replace it with a new one. Amazingly, the job was all done in two days and we are now able to have lovely showers with a continuous flow of hot water. There was a lot of extra work involved in our job (because the new boiler didn't fit so well into the space where the old boiler was) but we were not charged any extra for this, which we were extremely grateful for. They were absolutely delightful gentlemen to have around in the house for those 2 days and bent over backwards to make the job as finished as possible before they left. Unfortunately, they weren't able to put everything back exactly because the new boiler was bigger. We were kept in constant contact by the company owner Rob and felt extremely looked after. We can't praise them highly enough for the work on our house and will recommend them to others in a flash.

Platinum Plumbers undertook a very careful review of the work we needed doing including advice about the sort of replacements that would be best for us. A previously faulty installed shower and shower pump was replaced. The work was completed on the agreed date and within budget. They were exceptionally helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I cannot fault the work they did and it was to an exceptionally high standard. The work crew themselves were very friendly and they'll be my number one choice for future plumbing work.

A major leak in the incoming water main was eventually found by a specialist firm. Rob and his team then came in to run the new main from the meter in the street to the stopcock which is at the back of the house. A complicated job requiring moling of the pipe under the pathway and then a difficult route through the house to the site of the original stopcock. A great job by the lads, done on time and to budget, and nicely cleaned up afterwards. Very professional.

Hardip and Sam arrived on time and knew exactly what to be getting on with - replacement of 2 valves and installation of a shock absorber. They kept me up to date with developments when an unexpected piece was required and completed the job within a reasonable time and cleaned up too. I’ve been using Platinum Plumbers for several years now. Rob and his team respond quickly, they’re unfailingly polite, helpful and informative, and give clear advice and information on he likely costs and pros and cons of work options. Joanne (Mrs Rob) who manages their office is also always helpful. Their engineer Hardip diagnosed the problem with my hot water on Friday and it was fully sorted, with a new part, by first thing today Wednesday - it could have been sooner but that was the time that best suited me. They’re good value for money in my opinion because they give clear information and estimates. I thoroughly recommend them.
