About

I’ve been a gas engineer for over 12 years, learning my trade as apprentice at British Gas. I worked at British Gas for 9 years. During that time I gained extensive experience in all aspects of central heating. Eventually become lead engineer. In 2015 I decided to leave British Gas and go it alone. I’ve been on multiple boiler manufactures training course, I’m also a Vaillant approved installer.

My central heating did not work, the water was not flowing round the system. I found Jack's details on the internet + various recommendations. Within minutes of looking at my boiler, Jack diagnosed the problem, and got my central heating up and running. Yes, I would recommend Jack to anyone.

Jack attended our property when our ancient boiler sprung a leak. No surprise, needed to be replaced, we'd held off for a decade or more. Jack quoted for the work and did a very professional job, excellent service, invoice made sense, good value for money, one piece couldn't be installed he took it off the final invoice. Week later had a major leak in another property I own caused by flat upstairs but they were slow to handle so I called Jack who was there in 35 minutes. In fact, other plumber got there 10 mins before him (having been called 8 hours earlier) but couldn't figure out the cause of the leak. Jack switched off all fans and noise and used his ears to follow the sound, figured it out and isolated the offending loo. Now the owner of the upstairs flat wants to use Jack too!

This gentleman came to fix my boiler. I was very worried as I thought i would need a new one and would end up by an expensive job, but he found the fault straight away and fixed it at a great price! He was very helpful and explained the whole maintenance work to me. He let me know when he was on his way and arrived on time. Very happy with the job done.

Cannot praise Jack enough, after many visits by other engineers and costing many hundreds of pounds in trying to repair our boiler, then Jack arrived and after all the trouble we have been having we decided to have a new boiler installed. Within one week the new boiler was ordered and installed, including new pipe work. He did a fantastic job, all up and working fine. Peace of mind - We are so very happy. Good Luck to Jack and everyone who else hit the jackpot.

After hearing horror stories of bad tradesman I was priveleged enough to be introduced to Jack by a friend of the family. I explained my problem to him over the phone and he turned up 2 hours later with the parts in hand and successfully conquered the issue. Myself and pregnant wife were over the moon. His genuine, trustworthy character was what really hit home. He actually seemed to really ‘care’ about our problem and wanted to put us out of distress. Jacks card is now firmly present on the fridge for future issues, I could not recommend him any higher. Thanks for caring Jack!

Hot water wasn't heating up so called around a bunch of people and J Pearson responded back pretty quickly and could drop by to see me same day. Identified the problem (bad zone valve as I've learned) in about 30 seconds and had an appropriate replacement part installed less than 30 minutes later. No complaint on the cost either. Friendly and professional. Will call him next time we need help with our heating and hot water. Thanks!

Needed a gas cooker fitted early morning as I work mid morning to late evening, I was nervous but assured they would be there 8am on the dot, the engineer ‘jack’ was at the door 8 on the dot very friendly and extremely reliable and done a good job definitely will be using in the future
