New boiler needed at a rented property. Smiths quoted a fair price, attended when they said they would, carried out the work to a high standard and invoiced correctly and quickly. Everything you want especially as a landlord who had to deal with everything over the phone. Tenant is very happy. Highly recommend this company.

J Smith and Sons were recommended to me by a neighbour and I am so pleased I used them. Dave removed the old water tank and boiler and replaced it with a combi and put in a new radiator for me. All of the work was completed on time, he tidied up after himself each day and I am so happy with the result. I was dreading having it all done but it was nowhere near as bad and messy as I thought I'd be. A fair price for a great job, always in contact, turns up when he says he will and does a nice clean job, what more do you need!!

We started with a new boiler install a year ago and ended up getting all of our work done by J. Smith and Sons. We had an extension built and Dave renewed the mains supply, worked with our builders to provide new wastes and supplies, fitted underfloor heating, a water softener, new radiators and new under stairs W.c It was always easy to schedule in the work around the builders and when we got back at the end of the day the house was always just as we’d left it if not cleaner!

J Smith and Sons (Chingford) installed a bathroom in what had been a bedroom. So it was quite a complex project. The work was completed to a high standard, to schedule and to agreed price. Very tidy and considerate, offering helpful design and other ideas and solutions where our imagined plan could be improved upon. Smooth and reliable communications throughout. Also very reliably care for our boiler. Thoroughly recommend.

Dave from J Smith and Son did several jobs for us from replacing a boiler, installing new radiators and replacing a dead rusty stopcock in a rather awkward spot. No job is too small or difficult (even when it is tricky) for Dave. He is reliable, punctual and does the job to the highest standard. We have been using his services for the last 3 years and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a qualified, reliable and no nonsense professional.

My shower was running cold and after visits from 4 or 5 other plumbers, nobody could identify or solve the issue. I was passed Dave's numbers and he came and spotted the problem straight away and ordered the part, then came back to fix it. He has also serviced my boiler and fixed numerous leaks. He is a very skilled tradesman - I score him very highly on everything!
