As well as new higher capacity guttering. refacing the fascias and soffit with white PVC, Jonathon replaced the seven broken roof tiles and refitted the loose ones, using silicon adhesive. All done at a reasonable price.

Jon Woods came to quote for relacing guttering on my conservatory. However, he told me that he could probably repair it instead, which cost a lot less. He did a thorough job andnim very happy with the result. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Jon replied to my query promptly, then came to view the problem with the guttering. He made a suggestion to help solve one difficulty and on starting the job redirected some further guttering to make the flow of rainwater more sensible. In my view a reasonable price for some work which was necessary for my peace of mind.

I called Jon upon noticing significant damage to the timber Victorian fascia and soffit boards of our Victorian house. Jon got back to me quickly to arrange a visit that week. On arriving, I showed Jon the problem and he conveyed that the fix was relatively simple. While there, I also asked him to quote for both fixing or replacing the guttering. The quote we received was really reasonable. Upon agreeing to go ahead with a repair and complete gutter replacement, Jon turned up on time the next week and proceeded to diligently replace all the guttering In really unpleasant conditions and replace the relevant fascia and soffits with redwood. Despite the job talking half a day longer than anticipated and Jon very kindly checking and rectifying a few other things while present (namely, the condition of some cast iron down pipes) Jon’s final invoice was as per his initial quote. As a further vote of confidence, the builder we had repointing our property at the same time remarked on the quality of the work Jon was delivering and has subsequently asked John to price for work on another project he is delivering. I will not hesitate to recommend Jon’s services or call upon them again in future.

Quick response for visit to inspect work required. Immediate quotation and easy arrangement of date for work (quick, too). Arrived on time and work finished quickly and efficiently (within an hour of arrival). Invoice exactly as the original quotation. Mr. Wood was very pleasant and helpful throughout - highly recommended, on all counts.

Usual excellent service from Jon - this time clearing the gutters and checking the downpipes. Quite a lot of "gunge" in the gutters - drawback of living on a leafy lane of sycamores! - but he left the ground area spotless.

Couldn't review earlier as waiting for suitable weather to fully test the waterbutt! Absolutely delighted with the service provided by Jon - sourced all the materials for a new downpipe and waterbutt, including the paving slab it stands on. Installed in a few hours with no mess. Over the summer it provided a useful reservoir for the little rain we have received and now that we're back to more British weather the "overflow" functionality is working as anticipated and directing excess water away from the foundations.

My mum had a new flat roof fitted with all new guttering, soffits and fascia boards in March '21. Unfortunately, it became clear within weeks, that she had been scammed. We had to then find a new company to totally redo all the work. Luckily, we found Jon. Unfortunately though, due to my mum's health, we had to cancel the job. Thankfully, we were able to re-hire him for June '22. I was surprised (but pleased) that his new quote had just a slight price increase on last year's quote, considering recent inflation. First, Jon made right all the terrible guttering, fascia's and soffits, that had all been so badly installed by the cowboy. He then removed the so called new flat roof and Jon did a proper roof. Jon always gave me regular updates via text. He also helped me with a list of the problems he found (which went from bad to worse, by the hour) so I could take the cowboy firm to the Small Claims Court. Jon put up with my texts, often really long ones too (sorry), yet he always replied on the same day. And he always turned up when he said he would. I had a query once the work was complete, and Jon came over to check it within 24 hours. After my mum was scammed, we were both worried and totally non-trusting of roofers/builders/men. So Jon had to endure that too. But we couldn't have employed a better company or a nicer bloke. He has restored our faith in builders again, well, almost. If I ever need work done, I would definitely hire him again. Thanks Jon!

Used Jon Wood for the first time and was very pleased with his professionalism. Initial phone call was answered immediately and, my having explained the work required, Jon gave me a ball park figure which was spot on when the work was completed. Jon arrived slightly early and having completed the gutter clearing left the ground spotless. We intend to use him again for installing some additional guttering as we have confidence in his reliability and workmanship.

Very pleased with the prompt response to my call for a quote to repair guttering. Jon agreed to come and have a look at the job the next day, which he did and at the time he said. Jon phoned me with what needed doing and gave me the cost of the job, which we agreed on and he did the job there and then.

Jon provided excellent service in repairing some tiles which had slipped on our roof. He worked quickly, efficiently and with no fuss. I would be happy to recommend him to friends and neighbours. In fact, he reduced the price originally quoted as the work was not as extensive as originally envisaged.

Jon & his mate installed uPVC fascia, soffits & gutter He also refelted some flat roofing and installed uPVC cladding. The result has transformed our house. So neat & accurately installed. All waste was cleared and they left everything tidy. Communication was great and Jon’s final bill didn't deviate from his quote. We highly recommend them. Very trustworthy professional

Jon did some repairs to a few cast iron gutters and 1 downpipe on our property in February 2020. The gutters are good, but the downpipe is nothing short of a bodge-job. The downpipe was not properly sealed, some pieces not sealed at all, held in position with screws in between joints. It leaked heavily casing very damp walls and ultimately water ingress through a window casement. having sent text messages, whatsapps and phone calls from August 2020 to May 2021 Jon has failed to respond and correct the issue. We had another trader out last month, who took it all apart and refitted everything correctly. Disappointed with J Woods quality of work and service.

John replied to my initial enquiry very quickly, and was able to visit within a couple of days. He arrived when he said he would and completed the job, quickly with no fuss. He maintained a social distance and was aware of safety measures. We paid what he quoted and we would have no hesitation is using him again or recommending him to others.

Jon was prompt in his reply to me and communicated well. He kept me informed and fulfilled the work well. He was willing to extend the job by clearing gutters at an extra fair cost. I would recommend his company.

Line of guttering at the side of the house (1st floor) was leaking. Very steep ladder angle. Emailed Mr Wood with brief details and he replied the next day with an appointment to quote. Agreed price. Attended before the work day as he had a cancellation. Managed to part re use some of our guttering and remove / re align the the length solving the leak. Charged £30 less than quoted. Highly recommended.

Called In the morning, to see if they could take a look at a leaking gutter. Came out same day and did the repair there and then. Very efficient and professional service, would use again

My wife contacted Jon to provide a quote to replace our gutter and down pipe which had failed during the recent heavy rainfalls.
