When I contacted Jon he came around within a day and gave me a reasonable quote. I immediately felt comfortable with him as a contractor. He has done a good job and kindly adjusted a security light for me whilst he was here at no cost. He arrived promptly and was polite and worked in a tidy efficient manner. John replied to my initial enquiry very quickly, and was able to visit within a couple of days. He arrived when he said he would and completed the job, quickly with no fuss. He maintained a social distance and was aware of safety measures. We paid what he quoted and we would have no hesitation is using him again or recommending him to others.

Jon & his mate installed uPVC fascia, soffits & gutter He also refelted some flat roofing and installed uPVC cladding. The result has transformed our house. So neat & accurately installed. All waste was cleared and they left everything tidy. Communication was great and Jon’s final bill didn't deviate from his quote. We highly recommend them. Very trustworthy professional

Jon provided excellent service in repairing some tiles which had slipped on our roof. He worked quickly, efficiently and with no fuss. I would be happy to recommend him to friends and neighbours. In fact, he reduced the price originally quoted as the work was not as extensive as originally envisaged.

My mum had a new flat roof fitted with all new guttering, soffits and fascia boards in March '21. Unfortunately, it became clear within weeks, that she had been scammed. We had to then find a new company to totally redo all the work. Luckily, we found Jon. Unfortunately though, due to my mum's health, we had to cancel the job. Thankfully, we were able to re-hire him for June '22. I was surprised (but pleased) that his new quote had just a slight price increase on last year's quote, considering recent inflation. First, Jon made right all the terrible guttering, fascia's and soffits, that had all been so badly installed by the cowboy. He then removed the so called new flat roof and Jon did a proper roof. Jon always gave me regular updates via text. He also helped me with a list of the problems he found (which went from bad to worse, by the hour) so I could take the cowboy firm to the Small Claims Court. Jon put up with my texts, often really long ones too (sorry), yet he always replied on the same day. And he always turned up when he said he would. I had a query once the work was complete, and Jon came over to check it within 24 hours. After my mum was scammed, we were both worried and totally non-trusting of roofers/builders/men. So Jon had to endure that too. But we couldn't have employed a better company or a nicer bloke. He has restored our faith in builders again, well, almost. If I ever need work done, I would definitely hire him again. Thanks Jon!

Jon replied to my query promptly, then came to view the problem with the guttering. He made a suggestion to help solve one difficulty and on starting the job redirected some further guttering to make the flow of rainwater more sensible. In my view a reasonable price for some work which was necessary for my peace of mind.

I had been looking for someone professional to carry fix the leak in my gutter for a while. I have always been nervous about using people I don't know. But I got in contact with JP Wood and he was brilliant. Came round the next day, looked at the job, quoted and within a couple of day was completely fixed. I'd been looking for someone fairly local to sort out a leaking guttering job which was not the easiest of jobs to do as access was via a neighbours property, plus the original design left a lot to be desired!. Contacted Jon per email about a broken roof tile and got a a same day response for arranging a visit to give me a quote. Given the leak in the roof and the frequent heavy showers during that time, he managed to slot us in within a few days and carried out the work as agreed, quick and very tidy.

My wife contacted Jon to provide a quote to replace our gutter and down pipe which had failed during the recent heavy rainfalls. Jon replied promptly, visited the property and provided a quote in very short time. I had a few enquiries on the quotes and emailed Jon who replied to each message the same day, which from experience is unheard of. Having agreed a scope of work and price Jon arrived on the day on time and was courteous and professional from start to finish. Jon Woods came to quote for relacing guttering on my conservatory. However, he told me that he could probably repair it instead, which cost a lot less. He did a thorough job andnim very happy with the result. I would recommend him without hesitation.
