Many thanks to the directors and the whole team connected with James and Huntley for the excellent final result of our new kitchen. Special thanks as I to Ian and also Rick and Lee the plasterer who distinguished themselves in being helpful and doing an excellent job. We asked 4 firms to quote and we chose James and Huntley as they were priced competitively but just as importantly they showed an attention to detail which made them credible and we were not disappointed. The work on our new kitchen was quite an extensive job involving some building work (moving a wall by 1 metre) taking out the entirety of the old kitchen family room and utility room ripping up a tiled floor in 3 rooms, laying a new tiled floor and installing a new kitchen and utility. We had assistance in the design from Adrian the sales director and the fitters and other tradesmen (builders/electrician/plumber/tiler) that worked with the firm were all excellent. There were a few hiccups on the way as is always going to happen but they showed great commitment to customer service and pursued it until the job was completed to our satisfaction. This showed the calibre of the firm that they were committed to quality. After sales service was excellent as well as Adrian came out to check on and offer a solution to two small issues that cropped up within a year of the job being completed. My wife and I are delighted with the finished product and I would have no hesitation whatever in recommending the company

We have had two kitchens and a utility fitted by J&H and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The customer service is fantastic, the quality outstanding and the fitters did a brilliant job (and cleaned up after themselves) Adrian had so much patience with my many changes to the design for the kitchen and it paid off, everyone who sees it goes wow. The utility units have been fitted today and again Adrian’s design has enabled us to make the most of the space without it looking cluttered. Highly recommended.

We have had James and Huntley twice to fit wardrobes and our kitchen. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we have received. Throughout the planning stage we were consulted about our needs and Adrian’s expert knowledge contributed to a stunning kitchen. The fitters were brilliant and at no time were they phased by any problems they came across. They were polite, thoughtful and made sure that we could use the area at the end of the day. Chris was great in the way he kept us informed about what was going to happen each day. The materials they use are high quality and the finish is outstanding. Once the work had been completed, they were quick to come back and sort out any little problems.

The team as James & Huntley was superb from start to finish. Adrian provided great ideas at the design stage, and Chris ensured the quotes and arranging of the work was very smooth and efficient. They arranged other tradespeople to carry out plastering and electrics which made the whole process so much easier and the quality of the fitters installing the bedroom furniture was excellent. Their prices were extremely competitive given the quality of the work and materials used. Having used James & Huntley before I would highly recommend them

Couldn’t fault James and Huntley at all. We didn’t want to go to a ‘shed’ and wanted to commission an independent business to help design and build the kitchen and utility room. The team were very accommodating when it came to the installation schedule. We were having a barn conversion done and having to schedule the other trades to get their work done before the space was cleared and ready for the installation. The original installation date had to be pushed back by 2 weeks. It was also done to budget. What stood out for us was that when it came to the design of the utility room we had no idea, but sitting down with Adrian and listening to how we wanted to use the utility, led him to come up with a design that was instantly ‘blow away’. The contact was exceptional, keeping us updated, they would also present us with suggestions that we would never have thought of which made for a very good design.
