James and Huntley designed, supplied and fitted a smart, good quality kitchen at a competitive price. Adrian was spot on with the design layout and advice on styles and colours for cabinets, worktops and tiling. Good communications throughout the project from Chris the project manager. The kitchen fitters were punctual, professional and tidy. I appreciated being given the option to chose my own tradesman for the flooring and to source my own appliances, which ensured I got just what I wanted.

Used James and Huntley for my fitted bedroom and asked them to fit my kitchen. The service, efficiency and professionalism was excellent and they managed to get it all done for Christmas.

I was recommended by a friends who has had a kitchen fitted and after inspecting the kitchen l was more than happy to go ahead. Adrian did a great job advising me on the layout and units etc. l made a visit to the showdown and was very happy to accept the estimate. We asked James & Huntley to design and quote for a new kitchen, having previously used them to update 3 bedrooms (in different houses). Adrian is meticulous in his design work, making suggestions as to what is possible and what would work well. The fitters were all first class, being both friendly and professional, and you felt comfortable having them in the house, whether you were in or not. The job was completed on time and to the high standard we had hoped for. The company is easy to deal with and continues to work to a very high standard. Our home of 4.5yrs was I desperate need of a new kitchen, this is the first time I have used James and Huntley but we couldn't be more pleased with the finished result. The process from start to finish was a simple process, designs, measuring up all quickly completed and any questions answered In good time. Professional advice was given in balance with personal choice, ranging from colour choices to tiling options. Good communication between our builders meant quick transition between extension completion to kitchen being fitted. The quality of our kitchen is excellent and very competitively priced,we are all extremely happy with the finished room and the new family space which has been created.

Just used James and Huntley for a second time. They did a study for us 2 years ago, and have just fitted wardrobes in a bedroom. Can highly recommend them. This is the second time we have used James & Huntley and once again they were great. We had our bedroom wardrobes done by them over 12 years ago and the quality of the materials used were fantastic as they are still as good as new. We were impressed then. So, when it came to redoing our kitchen we decided to go back to them as we knew they did kitchens. Adrian has done a fantastic job of designing the new kitchen and putting the plans together. Chris and the team were great at installing the new kitchen and Chris in the office was always helpful with any queries and organising the plan. I cannot recommend them enough, great customer service and value for money. The kitchen looks great with a high end finish.

This is the second time we have used James Huntley. Our last kitchen was fitted in May 2001 which served us well. We are very pleased, the kitchen is of very good quality also fitted well nothing was too much trouble and if something was not right they would amend, no questions asked. All the different trades who were needed for the job were all organised and scheduled by Chris superbly. The tradesmen used by them were all on time and good workers.

Found this firm through Which? Trusted Traders and what a delight to work with them. They custom-designed and built fitted wardrobes, which was just what I needed, nothing was too much trouble. The fitters took one day and were so clean and tidy that apart from the wardrobe you wouldn't know they had been there. Not the cheapest, but I have always believed you get what you pay for, I will definitely consider using them again.

I cannot recommend James and Huntley enough. We had a large loft conversion done and had two bedrooms that needed fitting out with wardrobes. One of the bedrooms was an awkward shape due to the position of the Velux windows and we were struggling to get wardrobes to fit. We had 3 of the big bedroom companies out who designed something for us that wasn't really what we wanted but said nothing else would work. Fed up of being told "no" I googled bespoke bedrooms and James and Huntley came up. Initially, I thought they may be very expensive, especially with the quotes I'd had from the other competitors but I thought I have nothing to lose let's just see what they say and see if they can design something better. "WOW" is all I can say! Adrian came out and did me a design. He listened to everything I wanted and came up with a design that others said couldn't be done. He managed to tick every box I had. Once we had agreed on the designs he showed me some samples and we went from there. We were always kept informed of what was happening and dates we could expect things to be done. The service from start to finish was outstanding. Everyone is really professional and polite. They will work with you and nothing is ever a problem. The team of fitters are amazing. Very polite and friendly. James and Huntley are very competitive on price and we got far more for our money and what we wanted compared to other companies. I will definitely be having them back to quote on other work.

From the initial contact to completion, we received excellent service in a professional and timely manner. They actually did what they said they were going to in the time they stated. Very professional in all aspects and even highlighted changes to the bedroom furniture appearance they were fitting that enhanced the look whilst on site. I have no qualms in recommending their products or service.

We had our kitchen designed and fitted by James & Huntley and couldn't be happier, from coming to see the space and measure up for themselves (other companies we spoke with don't even offer this visit) to the actual fitting, we were really impressed with the whole team and the results speak for themselves. Our project was a fairly large kitchen extension and Chris in the office was so on top of everything, even reminding our builders of what needed doing in regards to drainage and bits & bobs being moved around. It was fab having Chris and Adrian on hand to call whenever needed, they were always happy to speak with our other tradesmen on the phone to help get everything in place. They really went above and beyond. I must really praise the fitters too who are a fantastic team and are so pleasant. Their organisation skills and eye for detail is superb. So glad we went with James & Huntley - would highly recommend, our relative is now using them for his kitchen too.

We had James and Huntley fit a kitchen for us - we chose them partly because of their good organisation during the quoting and they didn't disappoint during the fitting. The worked involved a lot of other trades (builder, window fitters, electrician, plumber, floor fitter, worktop fitter) and all of the work happened exactly to plan given at the start of the project (despite a few surprises which had to be dealt with along the way). All of the trades were excellent and we will be using some of them again directly - Chris and Adrian have clearly chosen them well. The resulting kitchen has completely transformed the room and we are very happy with the design and end result.

Contacted 4 companies to quote and provide a design for a kitchen refit. James & Huntley were by far the most professional in their approach and detailed in their solutions. Adrian’s 5-page tick list which had been built using his years of experience ensured that no detail was missed and gave him the opportunity to suggest design ideas which lead us into making better decisions. Communication and project management were excellent with Chris keeping us fully informed on who was coming and when. Kitchen fitters and all trades liaised with Chris and we’re all friendly and tidy and kept you fully informed on the progress. An honest and reliable company that I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend James & Huntley (Homecraft) Limited. They did a great job of designing our kitchen, ensuring that the use of our space was maximised. They were also very accommodating and flexible with the design, as we made a fair few changes along the way. All of the workman that completed the work on our kitchen, were efficient, conscientious and very helpful. James and Huntley were very personable and genuine, and they did not try to upsell anything, which we had experienced with other companies. We have already made enquiries to use them again for other parts of our home.

We came to James & Huntley after trying a few others, including the majors. They were one of the Which? trusted traders for kitchen designers, manufacturers and installers in our area. Overall we were very satisfied with the service and would recommend them to anyone. Key points are as follows:- 1. Their designer listened very carefully to our design brief and came up with some very useful general design suggestions, including some that were about the overall kitchen design, not just items in their supply (eg a special radiator). 2. They were extremely flexible in defining the scope of work. We started with the idea that we would have them do most of the work except a few items like the worktop, but eventually, we decided to do a number of things ourselves (eg floor and wall tiling, corner unit ironmongery). H&P were very easy to deal with as their scope was amended several times, and the alternative quotations for the amended scope were reasonable. 3. We agreed on a timescale, including when other trades' work would be carried out to synchronise with their work, and they kept to this timescale. 4. Their installers worked really well around other trades. 5. Their installers left the kitchen and work area (our garage when it was raining) clean and tidy at the end of each day. 6. As with many works of this kind, there were a few snagging items. These were dealt with promptly and amicably.

I can not recommend James and Huntley more! From the very first contact, they were efficient, professional and so friendly. I had a number of quotes from different companies but I very quickly chose to go with James and Huntley and I am so glad I did. They were honest with me when I shared my plans, explaining what would and wouldn’t work, and together we designed the perfect kitchen. The company make a lot of time for you, they come to your home and design the layout, colour, help you choose appliances and then they send you an example of what it will look like. They were easy to stay in contact with and so helpful, giving advice when I was finding it hard to choose a colour scheme. They transformed my old 60s kitchen into a Beautiful modern space. All of the workmen were friendly, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was carried out exactly as I wanted, they offered support and advice on things I was unsure about. The work was done to a high standard and was completed quickly. They handled payments and any queries I had with ease and were so approachable. Adrian and Chris provided an excellent service from initial planning to installation. The tradesmen were all polite and professional. Our existing kitchen and dining room were knocked through into one room. We are over the moon with the finished kitchen, and would definitely recommend James and Huntley.

Was very pleased with the kitchen planning and advice from Adrian and Chris who project managed all work. All the craftsmen who came were good. pleasant and efficient. Minimal snagging and all of that carried out quickly without fuss. Will be using James & Huntley when we are ready to have our bedroom refurbished. An engineer in the house recently actually stopped when going into kitchen and said "wow nice kitchen".

James and Huntley fitted our new kitchen. From the design stage to choosing our kitchen units, granite worktops and all our new appliances through to fitting the kitchen they were very professional, helpful and flexible to our needs. They were able to make adjustments for us at the last minute - nothing was too much trouble. The schedule and budget was adhered to and the aftercare was exceptional. I would highly recommend this company.

James and Huntley were recommended to us by a family friend and after enlisting them to carry out the work; from the design and planning to the fitting of the kitchen, we would be happy to now recommend them to our friends and family. James and Huntley fitted our first fitted kitchen over 20 years ago and we had no hesitation in going back for a second kitchen. Adrian is clearly a very talented designer and did his best to achieve the minimalist look that we wanted at a price we could afford. The range of appliances were high quality at a fair price. Richard the fitter was very professional and was completed the installation to a high standard. James & Huntley also put us in touch with other excellent tradesmen for plastering, flooring and electrical work. The whole project was handled smoothly by Chris in the office and the project was delivered on time and on budget. They may not be as well known as some of their larger competitors, but they are large enough to cope and small enough to care!

A friend recommended J&H. From Adrian coming round to offer up an opinion on what to do and where, to a recommendation on the tiles, it all comes to a great conclusion. This was not just a kitchen refit, it was a walls down, steel in, re-plaster, new floor and ceilings job! I did not want to project manage, and Chris and his team do you a planned works timetable, which was more or less day perfect. The kitchen looks AMAZING. I had a very simple white doors, black top, and AEG appliances. Adrian offers up design tips, what he thinks will fit in and what might not, with an eye on the details. It is very family run and you do feel like you are their only customer!

A raft of five-star reviews guided me to this Wolverhampton company, for a replacement bathroom and bedroom. The awkward shape and size of the former made the project particularly challenging. Sales director (Adrian) made multiple home visits to identify and address every issue, and guide me gently through my - rather slow - decision-making. His colleague (Chris) kept the process moving smoothly, and I was so impressed by their attention to detail and professionalism that I was happy for them to proceed whilst I was overseas. On my return, I found that the fitter (Richard) had created a work of contemporary art 'disguised' as a bathroom, and the precision with which he trimmed and laid my tiles was especially pleasing. Could not be happier, and delighted to pen this review.

The end result is lovely; two 4-door fitted wardrobes in two bedrooms on the first floor, which really match the interior design of the bedrooms in question. The work was completed within 2 days and with remarkably little mess, and at the end of each day everything was cleared up and vacuumed. The finishing was of a high standard and little tweaks, required by personal preferences, was cheerfully done. The administrative side was slightly less effective, but small communication problems were eventually sorted out. The only niggle is that the warranty on the wardrobes is personal and cannot be transferred and that there are different warranty periods on different parts of the wardrobe i.e. 10 years on the main structure, 7 years on the doors and lifetime on the hinges.

We have just had a new bathroom fitted by James & Huntley having previously had a kitchen from them. I would highly recommend them, they take over every aspect of the job from design right through to fitting. Great quality, good prices and fantastic finished result. Would definitely use them again.

J&H were the preferred choice for our recent kitchen refurbishment. The design stage was informative and professional, and they offered follow up opportunities to ask more questions throughout. Throughout the planning ans scheduling we were kept fully informed and they were more than happy to approve our appliances before we purchased from a third party (to save headaches further down the line). On the build the workman were very polite and respectful and completed their work to an excellent standard of quality. The build was completed within the predetermined time-frames. ur project involved the complete renewal of a large kitchen. The design of the kitchen was a thoughtful and collaborative project in which James & Huntley were happy to take on board our input into the initial design. They proved highly experienced and knowledgeable about their products. Their workforce were skilled and also adaptable to change, and the end result is an excellent classic yet modern and efficient working kitchen. We would highly recommend James & Huntley.

It's a shame this company is let down by their after service. Everything is fine until things go wrong then the responses to queries and getting things put right is very slow to the point of being frustrating. We are still waiting for things to be addressed months after the job was completed.
