My name is Liam and I run JRG Electrical, an electrical firm based in Epsom. We were established in 1998 and first registered with the NICEIC in 2002. Our work is spread around London, Surrey and Kent and we offer a range of domestic and commercial services:

Our aim is to resolve your issue on our first call and that is why we ensure all our vans are fully stocked with products ranging from switches and sockets to light bulbs and circuit breakers. Our store room is also fully stocked up and all our technicians have 24/7 access, so if on the rare occasion we do attended an emergency and do not have the parts on the van we will have them in the stores.
Call out rates start from:
£80.00 call out charge (first hour on site)
£40.00 p/h there after.
All prices are subject to VAT and prices are dependant on time of call and location from office.

I lost power in part of the house and the trip switch kept staying down whenever I tried to move it up. JRG diagnosed the problem and had to carry out some remedial work and I’m very satisfied with the work that was carried out. Liam was very professional, explained to me clearly what the problem was, fixed it and left the place tidy. He arrived promptly and charged me a fair price for the time that he spent doing the work and I would have no hesitation in using his services again.

JRG Electrical were excellent. They came the day after initial contact and did the work there and then. They replaced 3 old external lights in the garden and also checked the electric sockets prior to installation of new fridge and freezer in the kitchen. They moved out the old appliances for us and increased the space for the plugs and wires to pass through to the sockets. This work was done quickly and extremely efficiently and we felt they went the extra mile to help us. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending them.

I contacted JRG and asked for a quote for a small number of small jobs, which included replacement of exterior security floodlight, replacement of lighting under kitchen cabinets and replacement of downlight lighting in a high level flyover above the kitchen sink. Engineer came to survey the work. The quotation arrived by e-mail a few days later. Price seemed reasonable and a date for doing the work was agreed. The engineer arrived on time and undertook the work. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He worked in my house for about four hours on a Friday afternoon and I am pleased with the performance of the new LED lighting systems. The engineer was tidy and removed all waste from the site. The invoice matched the quotation - no increases I would definitely recommend JRG.

I needed a new security light fitted. Very professional and efficient service. After contacting JRG Team with my problem they contacted me within 24 hours and provided a cost which was agreeable. I needed to replace some old single electrical sockets with double ones and to chase some surface wiring into the plaster. Liam had quoted for the work in July and we agreed a date in late August. He arrived exactly on time, did the work efficiently and left the site clean and tidy at the end. He was pleasant to deal with throughout. Liam assessed the existing storage heaters and said they require a service. I decided that as they were old that we should replace them. Two different Dimplex storage heaters were recommended. Additional plug sockets required and a new light for the kitchen. Quote accepted. Work completed in one day. The old heaters removed and the place cleaned up very satisfactorily. Turned out the light wasn’t bright enough, so a replacement fitted without hassle. Liam was very supportive and had a good manner with my sister, so very happy.

Had Liam in to replace a cooker hood, replace a single blown socket with a double socket and fix a double socket. He was prompt and extremely diligent in his work. It turned out to be a more complicated affair but he carried out the work true to his estimate. His work is extremely neat and tidy and he left my kitchen in an immaculate condition. I recently bought a dual fuel cooker to replace our old gas cooker. I did not have contact with any electrician and therefore used Which Trusted Traders for the first time. JRG Electrical provided an excellent service. I was able to email photos of our very old electrical socket (and fuse box), which I was informed by the cooker delivery team would not be up to current standards. JRG was thorough in having me send photos of the fuse box to verify suitability. JRG gave me an estimate and arrived as requested a couple of days later, on time within the agreed time window. The work was completed to a high standard and they even asked whether to send a certificate either by email or by post. I am pleased with the work, which is exactly as I wanted. I had a problem with the oven in a flat a I rent out, I called Liam late one evening and he attended the next day. The problem was with the oven, not the electrics but after a discussion with Liam I decided to install a new one. Liam gave me sound advice on this. As I have tenants at the location, Liam offered that I could have oven delivered to him before installation. In the end, I had the oven delivered to the flat, Liam attended, fitted it and then sent on all the paperwork. I am very happy with Liam's work and, on my experience, would have no doubts in recommending him to others.

My lights fused and wouldn't reset I was recommended to Liam from J R Gibbons and he said he would come round the following day It was a tricky problem to solve as I believe a wire had broken But he was patient clean tidy and stayed till he had rectified the problem I was very grateful to have them working again.
