At James Rae Plumbing and Heating, we take pride in the service we provide for our customers in Glasgow and the surrounding area. Our experienced team, competitive prices and trusted advice will help guide you through any heating project no matter what size.
We can offer you the whole package, from advice on what boiler suits your home and needs best, a quality installation, and great aftercare that includes at least a five-year warranty. Working only within Glasgow and the surrounding areas also means that we can be there if you need further help with your installation.
Glow-worm boilers suplied and fitted with a 10-year warranty.
Vaillant boilers supplied and fitted with a 10-year warranty.
Worcester boilers with up to 12 years guarantee.
We can fit any other boiler if you have a preference for another brand.
All our boilers come with a system flush, central heating filter, a programmable thermostat and a carbon monoxide alarm as standard.
All our new installation quotes are free of charge.

Boiler broke down 7 days ago and British gas condemned the boiler on inspection 2 days later( guy didn't look interested in repairing it tbh) Read reviews on here for local trader and called James on the Monday. Came round to look that night and sent quote with all details on a couple of options for me. Did my homework overnight and booked in for 2 days time. Not just a straight replacement but upgrading gas supply and a couple of other historic issues with the system. All done by James himself with no fuss and a great tidy job with everything working as it should. When you phone this company it is James you are getting so someone who is invested in his good name. Oh and he's a nice guy too.

New boiler, radiators and hive installed by James Rae Heating Ltd. I am very pleased with the service provided by James Rae Heating. From initial contact I found James and Derek to be reliable, knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Communication was always prompt. James allowed time at initial visit for any questions making helpful suggestions re radiator styles/sizes and boiler options. James arranged to remove the radiators a few days early to allow me to tidy/paint in behind. The installation work took place in a timely manner and with minimum disruption to me. The new radiators look great. Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending James Rae Heating Ltd.

I needed a boiler replaced which was in a problematic place. James provided a good solution that reduced costs - compared to other quotes, minimised upheaval in the house and removed a long-standing, frustrating issue. Derek did the installation work quickly, neatly and bang on budget. He kept me informed about all the work that was going on and explained everything very clearly. Both are lovely guys, really helpful and I'd highly recommend this company.
