Had an old back boiler replaced with a new combi boiler including replacement radiators. Excellent job from the prompt provision of a competitive quote to the completion of work with minimal disruption. James proved to be one of the most reliable, efficient, hard-working and friendly tradesmen I have come across.

James fitted us a new boiler and tank system in 2020. He did an excellent job. Reliable, friendly, on time. We've had a couple of issues with the system since which James has come round next day to comprehensively check and address. Really great service.

I contacted James to service my boiler as he had good reviews here and he arranged to come a couple of days later, at a time that was convenient for me. He was really friendly and efficient, I was very impressed that he even had a step stool with him- no need for me to get my stepladder out! I was really pleased, and will definitely get him to service the boiler next year.

James has been doing the annual gas checks on my house for several years, and also regular boiler repairs. The old boiler finally gave up last week though, but James was able to respond quickly both to the initial call out and then with quoting for and installing a new boiler. I highly recommend James and trust him to provide a high-quality friendly service at a great price. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!

This was the first time I had used James Rae Plumbing. They carried out a boiler service at my daughter's house. They turned up at the agreed time (even texted to let me know they were on their way), carried out the service with no fuss or mess and the invoice was exactly what they had quoted. Although this was not a major job I was impressed with the efficient and polite service and will certainly be using them again.

James installed a new gas boiler for me and I could not fault his work in any way. He also does yearly checks on the boiler and my gas fire. He is totally professional, meticulous in his work and an extremely nice and reliable tradesman. I would not use anyone else. You will not find a better tradesman. Highly recommended.

I had a new gas boiler fitted by James Rae and the professionalism, and workmanship was excellent. Nothing was a bother and he kept me informed of everything associated with the job. Both James and Henry were superb installers, cleaning up as they went along, and extremely tidy with the installation. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others as they are simply the best.
