After a frustrating experience with a previous roofer, I spent quite some time searching for a reliable professional and was fortunate to come across JLR Roofing. From the very first contact, Joe provided a clear and detailed explanation of the work required to fix our leaking roof, along with a transparent cost estimate and timeline. This immediately gave us confidence that we were in good hands. He and his team were consistently punctual, worked efficiently and quietly, and kept everything clean and tidy throughout the job. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, which was a huge relief after our earlier experience. Joe responded quickly to my request for a quote to replace the guttering , loose tiles and moss clearance and we agreed a price and start date. Joe and his team arrived promptly early in the morning and although the weather was very cold removed and replaced the majority of the guttering. Unfortunately because the weather was so cold they couldn't replace some of the mortar but we agreed for them to come back when the weather warmed up. They returned promptly done all the outstanding work and identified some more loose tiles which he videoed so we could see the problem and fixed. They removed all the moss by hand ( twenty years worth) and sprayed the roof. I was very impressed with the teams friendliness and Joe who kept us informed as we went through the process and made sure the team provided a high standard of workmanship. He was the best roofer by miles we have ever used and even provided a guarantee for the work. The clean up was exceptional , removing all the moss and old guttering to a high standard. I certainly would recommend this company .

Joe promptly responded to our call & visited us the same day to assess the cause of damp patches on a couple of bedroom ceilings. After Joe checked the roof for any broken tiles and also a quick check of the loft, condensation & a build-up of moss were identified as the main causes. The job/quote entailed the removal of moss by hand, adding ventilation tiles, installing a dry ridge system and repositioning loft insulation. As we were very impressed by the quick & friendly response as well as the quote, we booked Joe & his team for the job, which was completed in a morning, keeping to our allocated slot despite the current weather conditions. Before & after photos were also provided. Hired Joe and team to fix a leak coming though my roof. He was professional from the start and was the only person who wanted to take the time and go up onto my roof to prepare a detailed estimate and photographs of the work that needed doing. Job required repointing two chimneys, rebedding the hips, replacement of tiles and general repairs. He was extremely communicative throughout. His team was very courteous and polite. Very happy with the end result. He went the extra mile by using lime mortar on my period property and also ensured that it has been protected from the weather with hessian over the winter. Would happily recommend and would definitely use again for future work.

Joe replaced all the ridge tiles for me. His communication was excellent from the outset. There were some weather related delays but he was upfront and communicated clearly the impact and got the work done asap. Very professional throughout and a very competatove price. Joe and his team fitted a large felt flat roof for us before solar panels were added. Working with Joe was a pleasure from start to finish, a comprehensive estimate, delivered to budget and timeframe. Joe also went out of his way to assist the solar installers, supplied them with materials and integrated the mountings with them to finish off the roof. In short, a fantastic service, and we couldn't have asked for better.

Joe and the team replaced half the roof on our Victorian cottage and did an amazing job. It was challenging work due to access restrictions and historical damage, but everything was resolved to perfection. They also installed a new hopper and fixed a long-standing drainage issue, as well as replacing some additional tiles on the other side of the roof. Everyone was incredibly polite and considerate, and the site was left immaculate once they had finished. All the work was done as planned and on budget. Everything was clearly explained to us, and communication was excellent. We would 100% recommend JLR Roofing Solutions.
