After fitting EPDM to two Dormer roofs (review left 4th May), Joe and his team returned to rebed/replace the Hip and Ridge Tiles on our Dormer bungalow. This was a considerable job and covered 3 days work. Once again Joe and his team were excellent and left our property clean and tidy. Our previous EPDM review details all his good points. We asked Joe to replace a very old and leaking felt roof with EPDM. He came round and fitted a temporary cover to prevent more water coming into the house and followed up a week or so later to do the replacement (delayed a bit by the extreme temperatures in the recent heatwave). During the course of the work he noticed a couple of joists that should be replaced and that the rear roof had actually been laid sloping toward the house. He fitted the firing timbers to slope that roof the correct way and the replacement joists at materials cost only. He and all his crew were professional as well as friendly and the work area was spotless on completion. The roof looks great and he guarantees the work for 20 years.

Everything was clearly explained by Joe and a comprehensive estimate was then provided. The team arrived punctually on the given date. They stripped off the old roofs, raised the joists to improve the fall for drainage and then fitted the EPDM roofs. They also repointed a chimney that needed attention in places. The team were professional, organised, friendly and very approachable. The area was left clean and tidy with all debris removed. All the work was done as planned and on budget, with Before photos and After photos being provided. We are very happy with the end result. We would highly recommend and will use Joe and his team for future work.

Joe responded quickly to my request for a quote to replace the guttering , loose tiles and moss clearance and we agreed a price and start date. Joe and his team arrived promptly early in the morning and although the weather was very cold removed and replaced the majority of the guttering. Unfortunately because the weather was so cold they couldn't replace some of the mortar but we agreed for them to come back when the weather warmed up. They returned promptly done all the outstanding work and identified some more loose tiles which he videoed so we could see the problem and fixed. They removed all the moss by hand ( twenty years worth) and sprayed the roof. I was very impressed with the teams friendliness and Joe who kept us informed as we went through the process and made sure the team provided a high standard of workmanship. He was the best roofer by miles we have ever used and even provided a guarantee for the work. The clean up was exceptional , removing all the moss and old guttering to a high standard.
