Joel made a return visit to us, having previously replaced all our light fittings with LED units, which he made a great job of. There was an issue with a faulty dimmer switch, which he repaired very quickly. As before, good and prompt communication, friendly and efficient service, excellent value. We would not hesitate to use Switch Green again.

Joel relocated a light, put new heavy lights in and sorted out a faulty switch. He took a lot of care over the work and was super knowledgeable and friendly. Further to completion I had a clear invoice in line with the original quote and a separate NICEIC installation certificate from NICEIC via email for my records. Very professional, trustworthy, would recommend anytime.

We initially asked Joel to connect our garden room to the house’s electrical supply. We were pleased enough with the service that we also hired him to install a bathroom extractor, doorbell, and 1st and 2nd fix on our kitchen. I particularly liked that the quotes given were clear, and we always knew which materials were included. Communication and scheduling was done very well too. It was also appreciated that Joel would point out any opportunities to reuse materials, so as to minimise waste. I don’t have any hesitation recommending Joel.

Joel replaced 3 malfunctioning pull cord light switches for me at a reasonable price. Arrived when he said he would and did the job in next to no time. I would welcome Joel back any day.

Joel was brilliant. He replaced the lights under our kitchen cabinets and fitted our new oven. He gave us excellent advice on the kind of lights to fit. Fitting the oven was more complicated than it should have been because the previous oven had been fitted without a backplate. Joel had the necessary parts in his van and had the oven fitted and tested quickly and smoothly. Joel took away the oven and cabling to be recycled. He worked very efficiently, and his prices are very reasonable. A pleasure to do business with.

Excellent electrician — installed a new light, hung three lighting pendants, and fitted several switches. The work was carried out to a high standard, communication was clear, and everything was left clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Being a contortionist he managed to move new fireproof fuse-box the necessary couple of feet to the outside of the cupboard, which I think contributed a great deal to the reasonableness of his quote,saving him time & me cost of ducting & wiring to what wd have been only alternative position 12 ft away. I would like to give him 6 stars rather than 5 as 2 of the rooms he had test the sockets in where decidedly unpleasant – I cdn'r even go in them! Because my husband had been 999'd to hospital I was unable to keep to the terms of the of the contract which asked that access to all sockets was available & that we are responsible for replacing any furniture that had had to be moved. Joel just went ahead & did this. Had been suffering from plague of mice & using silicon Joel blocked some holes left by Sparks our vendor had used. Kitchen ceiling lights needed replacing - had been told by 2 Sparks that as they were in a slanting roof , the ceiling would need replacing. Joel confirmed that it would save elec.costs if changed to LED - he cd do from his ladder by simply unscrewing present light & replacing with LED after fiddling with some short wires for eac Joel's a kind caring honest bloke who is good at his job and cares about people, living up to his working name SWITCH GREEN by taking all the bits of wiring left over from his work from me & that I had collected. Normally I loathe having workmen in the house but Joel I look forward to seeing!!!

Joel carried an EICR, undertook remedial work that included installing a new consumer unit, and carried out a range of other electrical tasks. He provided a detailed schedule of work in advance, which I really appreciated, and everything was completed to schedule and to the agreed budget. He was very professional, offered advice, explained what he would need to do at each step, and took care to minimise damage to any floor boards that needed to be lifted. I highly recommend him.

We had Joel replace some electric panel radiators as well as some smaller electrical repair works around our apartment. Joel was helpful, responsive and forthcoming with advice and recommendations as part of scoping the works and putting together a quote. He worked quickly, efficiently and tidily around the apartment, and was clear in explaining what he was doing before starting any task. He completed the works within the time he had allocated and left behind no mess. The job was exactly as quoted. Joel was friendly and approachable with any queries throughout the process end-to-end. I'll be using Switch Green Electrical again and highly recommend their services for electrical works.

This was Joel’s second visit to our house. He was trying to identify why our lights were ‘tripping’ which is no mean feat as it is a large house. He went through the place with the meticulousness of a detective and eventually found the culprit. Despite being here for ages, I received a very reasonable invoice. Plus he went to the task I a good humoured way, despite the challenge. Would definitely recommend

Joel was quick to respond initially with a clear understanding of the work needed and sent a very reasonable estimate of costs. He arrived on time, was clear about options for the work involved and was very communicative. It was found that further work needed to be done, Joel explained this clearly and was able to carry that out with no fuss. He was tidy with the work and it was done correctly, as agreed, within budget and to a very good standard. I'd recommend Joel very highly.

Joel just completed a partial rewire for us whilst we were doing some DIY renovations, and I couldn't recommend him enough. He was bang on time for every visit, provided a very competitive quote which he stuck to, gave really good practical advice, and completed the job very neatly. What's more, he was great company for chats as I worked alongside him. I really couldn't recommend Joel highly enough and will definitely be reaching straight out to him for any future electrical work we might (will) need!

Joel completed two batches of work for me. On the first visit he tackled a long list of small but annoying electrical tasks that I'd left unfixed for too long. I can highly recommend Joel. He fitted a new heater in my living room advising on the sort of heater I needed. Delivered great work and fitted it at relatively short notice when weather was particularly cold which was much appreciated. He kept disruption to a minimum and was very personable. Very competitive on price also.

Joel fitted a cooker in the kitchen, a fan, lights over the cooker and a radiator in the bathroom. Even though the jobs turned out to be a little more complex than we expected, Joel did great work, with good humour, tidily, promptly and at a very good price. We could not have asked for more!
