On this occaision it was to was to temporarily relocate the hot water tank but I have used John Wood for many years for servicing and repairs.

Asked John Wood to check the boiler after moving in to our older property, he did so promptly. He established that it would need a replacement and within two weeks he had installed a new Vaillant that adequately suited our needs. John's worked repeatedly for us over the years, and the fact we constantly choose him really says it all. Years ago, he removed ageing, poorly installed, and potentially dangerous boilers from both my mother's flat and my own, and fitted two superb ones quickly, efficiently and at a very reasonable price. He checked everything flawlessly, even to the point of contacting the gas board regarding a potential query with a gas pipe running to our meter. He miraculously transformed an eyesore maze of pipes in my kitchen into a neat arrangement, and frequently goes the extra mile regarding other jobs we've sometimes needed a hand with. Washing machines, toilets etc. You name it, he's helped us, and without complaint. What's more, if you make an appointment with him, he'll be there and bang on time. John's a genuinely good guy you can always depend on. Friendly, sociable, and he clearly puts everything he has into every job he does. He services our boilers every year, and long may it continue. Heating's important, and with John we know we're in very very safe hands.

John Wood annually carries out our gas safety checks on our rental properties. He is thorough professional and always punctual. My husband and I would always recommend him.

We had an air source heat pump fitted at our home which included upgrading radiators and the installation of a water cylinder. John was excellent from start to finish explaining everything and answering any questions we had. The heat pump has been up and running for over a month and thanks to John it is running perfectly and at the highest efficiency. We would highly recommend John for any renewables or plumbing work.

In July 2023, John Wood carried out a complete replacement of our central heating boiler including installation of a new vertical radiator into our kitchen diner. He has been servicing this boiler ever since. In july this year, John relocated our flue The previous boiler had been installed by John 10 years previously and John has carried out annual servicing since then. The service in 2023 showed that a new boiler was required. In 2010/11, at our previous address, John had performed a full replacement of central heating boiler, radiators, plumbing piping, bathroom and kitchen fixtures and fittings. My wife and I have used John Wood since 2010 and he has been our first port of call for plumbing repairs and heating projects. John is a dependable professional heating engineer who takes a great pride in his work. He has studiously developed his knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience in the years we've known him.
