From the quotation process to the end of build, everyone at Jon Pritchard has surpassed our expectations. The project manager, lead builder, apprentices and sub contractors were exceptional. Everyone works hard, cleans up at the end of every day, talks through ideas and innovations, is polite and humble. This company is cleaning up in Bristol, but there isn't a hint of arrogance and they are very clearly putting their clients above everything. You will see from their quotation process compared to others that they have applied a little more science to what they do. With any of the minor issues post-build (loosening taps etc) they were there the next day to rectify at no cost. Can't see how anything they did could be improved.

Jon Pritchard had been highly recommended to us for our loft conversion and we weren't disappointed. Dave and Paddy were brilliant builders and they kept us informed every step of the way. Nothing seemed too much and Zach was full of great ideas for making the most of the space. Every tradesman that came into our house was friendly and professional, as a family with really young children this made a big difference. We are delighted with the finished product.

We recently used Jon Pritchard to convert our loft into a new bedroom with En-Suite. James & Dec turned up on time everyday and worked very hard during these challenging times to produce an excellent result. Nothing was too much trouble and they came back with no fuss if there was anything i wanted to discuss throughout the build. I must also give a mention to Zach who was also excellent and helped the boys get to the finish line.

Start to finish, our experience with using Jon Pritchard for our loft conversion project was flawless! From the initial quote, through to structural surveys and most importantly the build, everything was executed really professionally and to a high standard of quality. The pricing was spot on to the quote and was competitive with other quotes. In particular a huge thanks to the main builders assigned to our job, Paddy and Dave. They were both not only really hard works and well builders, but as importantly incredibly friendly and really good with our 2yr old daughter and made her felt involved in the big change happening to our house. They were great at communicating what work had occurred each week, and what the timeframes were throughout the project. I would not hesitate to recommend Jon Pritchard based on the fantastic job from start to finish they did with my dormer loft conversion!

Jon Pritchard did a great job on our dormer loft conversion. We selected Jon's company after a glowing recommendation from our neighbour and we were very glad that we did. The whole process was stress free, pricing was clear and transparent and all work was completed on time to a very high standard. Everyone who worked on the project was respectful and nice to have around. Particular thanks go out to James and Reagan who were the mainstay of our project with great attention to detail and nothing being too much trouble. We’ve recently finished a loft conversion using Jon Pritchard and couldn’t be happier with the end results. We had Joe and John as our main team who were excellent, very nice to have working in the home, nothing was too much trouble for them and their rate of work was astonishing. The other Jon Pritchard employees we had were all great too and like Joe and John, their workmanship was always to a high standard. Having the app ‘co-construct’ to communicate was very useful and we loved seeing the photo updates as the build progressed. Would recommend Jon Pritchard as a first rate company to get a loft conversion with and are very glad we choose them.

Our loft conversion has recently completed and we are extremely satisfied with the end result. The entire experience right from the first meeting with Jon has been great. The process was very smooth and the specifications were clearly defined and explained in detail meaning we were able to get exactly what we required from the build. The work was completed to a very high standard with all the various trades taking great pride in their craft. The entire team were great, however Dave and Jack in particular were a pleasure to have in our home throughout the project. They treated our home with respect and took great care in cleaning up each day while keeping us informed of progress at each stage throughout the build. They went above and beyond (even helping to take deliveries that weren’t part of the project!) and we recommend them to anyone. The overall price was good value and there were no hidden surprises along the way. Overall, it was a great experience and we are very happy with our new loft space!

We had a rear dormer conversion with Jon Pritchard in 2025 and the whole process ran extremely smoothly from start to finish. Their prices are high, but the quality reflects that – with excellent communication, high standards of workmanship, and an astounding ability to run on schedule. We were especially impressed with our main carpenters Jack and Dec who were friendly, hard-working and thoughtful lads who really put us at ease and kept us well informed throughout the process. I'd highly recommend their work and feel confident that Jon Pritchard really seems to hire the best and most considerate tradespeople. The online portal was really helpful throughout the project, too. We found it easy to navigate, with all the conversations, quotes and documents in one place, and any enquiries we had were always answered in a timely way. We had a few extra odd jobs crop up and these were quoted for transparently and efficiently. Bonus points: The roofing in particular on this project by Eamon was also impeccible – we've had numerous comments from our neighbours and family on how neat it looks – and somehow the scaffolding came down almost as soon as the job was finished. All in all we're very happy with our new loft room and en suite.

I cannot recommend Jon Pritchard Ltd highly enough. They exuded reassurance and professional competence from the very first visit, taking time to discuss how we would use the loft and explaining how they would carry out the conversion. The eventual quote was not the cheapest - not the most expensive either - but we decided to go with Jon Pritchard because of the rapport we felt with them. The team doing the actual work were fantastic: clean and tidy (as far as an inherently dusty and disruptive job can be); respectful and polite, from the 'old sweats' to the apprentices. No question from me was too stupid to deserve a sensible answer and the team accommodated without complaint a number of last-minute changes to the design. We had an immovable deadline to be met and when it looked like (through no fault of their own - problems with suppliers) Jon Pritchard wouldn't meet the deadline, Adam, the foreman assured us that he would work nights and weekends to complete the conversion. It wasn't necessary. As it was, the last person on site, the night before my wife and I needed to move into the conversion, was one of the electricians - he had done a 12-hour day and the poor bloke was frazzled, so I sent him home as he was about to vacuum the house! We are delighted with the conversion and have had no significant teething troubles, leaks, creaks, cracks or otherwise. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jon Pritchard to anyone considering a loft conversion.

Jon and his on-site team (run by Zach) were absolutely excellent. It is great to find a team who know exactly what they are doing and who have confidence in their service and work product (well deserved). We would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again. They anticipated any issues, managed our expectations and concerns well and held our hands through the whole process. If we had any concerns, they were addressed and resolved immediately. Zach and his team could not have been more accommodating. They completed the job on time and on budget and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. We are really pleased and have already recommended them to 2-3 friends about to undertake the same process.

We recently used Jon Pritchard for our loft conversion and couldn't have been happier. Kev, Vince and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with and have in the house. Jon Pritchard's team carried out a loft conversion for us in June/July 2018. Throughout the process every member of the team we dealt with were responsive and very professional. The guys on the build (Lemar and Dom) give you the feeling of being a valued customer just as much as the team in the office. All changes and additions to the build were clearly communicated and variations in price agreed through the app that's used to project manage the whole thing (very different to the experience neighbours were having with their builders at the same time). Could not be happier, thanks to all involved.

We are so pleased with our recent loft conversion by Jon Pritchard. From the initial meeting with Jon himself through to completion the company and all their contractors have been a pleasure to work with. The quality of work has been very high and we are absolutely delighted with the new room and shower en-suite. We’re very grateful for the small details around the job which have always been treated with attention and care as well as the main elements, and for the flexibility shown, particularly in fitting in small changes of plan along the way! The ‘can do’ attitude has been brilliant. Equally important to us has been the working atmosphere and also the mess/disruption in the house. With a young family often at home it has been hugely significant to us that the boys have been so pleasant and considerate throughout. (We also really appreciated the care taken to minimise mess and dust, especially in the hallway with daily hovering and refreshing of stair plastics!) We’re so grateful to Anton, Dom and Zach in particular, who we have seen the most, and Ashton more recently, who have all been brilliantly considerate and are probably the main reason why we will happily recommend JP to the friends and acquaintances who will no doubt ask us over the next few years! It’s felt really easy having you guys around and it would have felt a very long ten weeks if it hadn’t been that way. It’s been a great job: thank you to everyone.

Hats off to Jon Pritchard and his team for seeing our project through to completion during a pandemic lockdown. As soon the scaffolding was up and they started bringing in the materials, they were forced to stop and consider how to proceed. Luckily for us, Jon decided it was safe to go ahead and his team took measures to protect everyone involved. It was chaotic at times, but all bumps were immediately and carefully sorted out with the result that we have a huge extra bedroom and ensuite shower room with fantastic views over Bristol. We found the online app very easy to use and a great place to keep tabs on all the conversations about choices, costs and plans. No major project like this will be without problems but Jon Pritchard's team were always quick to try and resolve issues. We would highly recommend them - even during a pandemic.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Jon Pritchard for creating us such an amazing loft conversion. We are incredibly happy with the result and considering we were in the middle of a pandemic it was way less stressful than I imagined it would be. Vince and his team were brilliant, I really cant fault them. Vince spent hours more than he needed to trying to sort out an issue we had with regard to head height in the bathroom and was very patient and knowledgeable. I also want to thank him for listening to my many add on ideas which he always accommodated with a smile on his face. I can honestly say everyone that entered the house was really professional and a joy to have around. Great project delivery and management. The team were always courteous and polite, keeping us informed throughout the entire project. We were provided with progress updates and photos as the loft developed and given time and clear instructions on decisions that needed to be made when required. Whilst their initial quote was a little higher than some of the others we received, it was well worth the extra which wasn't actually that much, for the professionalism and confidence we took in the work. The team always turned up on time and when they said they would. They were always available for any questions or guidance. They were also always the same team who turned up. There were no hidden or surprise costs through the build, which was a concern having heard stories from others about other builders. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jon Pritchard Lofts if you want a well communicated, high quality loft conversion. Since completion the team have been in touch a couple of times to check in that we are still happy with the work and nor encountered any challenges. They have also provide all the guarantees and warrantees you would expect from a reputable trader.

We selected Jon Pritchard Limited (JPL) from a choice of 3 companies that we had initially identified. They were in the middle on price compared to the other two. Their professionalism, together with the quality of the work in a couple of loft conversions that they had recently completed, convinced us that they were the right choice. Throughout the project, we were updated daily on the progress of the build. The JPL team worked really hard and were on site most week-ends to ensure they would meet the deadline that they had set themselves. Every little niggle that we had were dealt with promptly and without any fuss. In short, it was a pleasure dealing with everyone of their team and we are absolutely delighted with our loft conversion. Friends have been very complimentary and a few who have recently had a loft conversion wished they had used JPL. Having a loft conversion done is by no means plain sailing and can be disruptive. We cannot fault JPL for trying to keep these disruptions to a minimum. The team is made of highly skilled, professional and courteous individuals who will treat your home as if it were their own. All in all, we would greatly recommend Jon Pritchard Limited.

I would highly recommend John and his team for anyone considering a loft conversion. From the initial meeting the level of professionalism was much higher than the other companies we considered. Attention to detail was high and John had many local contacts that we trusted and that had been happy with his work. The conversion was competitively priced and extras that we asked for were also value for money (e.g. we had some fitted wardrobes installed at a very reasonable rate). As for the work itself it was on time and on budget and the team were great. Zac and his team were onsite nearly every day and was always willing to discuss options and were very accommodating when we changed our mind on a few things. The thing we liked most was that we had somebody on site working the whole time - previously with long builds we've had days or weeks when work stops and the team are nowhere to be seen. The guys were always polite and tidied up at the end of the most days. We are really pleased with the loft and the finished product and big thanks to John and his team for all their hard work.
