We have just finished a loft conversion on our 1930's detached house in BS9. It was a large job, involving three dormers, huge structural beams and a complex roof structure. The process from beginning to end was faultless and we received excellent service throughout. The quality of the end result is fabulous, but equally importantly the journey to get there has been as stress-free as major building work can be. We were away for three weeks during the build, but felt comfortable trusting the lads to get on with the work and look after our house, which they did, and we received updates and photos throughout via the "Co-Construct" software used to manage the project. The guys on site were always polite, helpful, tidy and paid attention to detail. The most significant thing that we found during the work was their flexibility to accommodate changes: where we made major changes (e.g. adding a new Velux window or asking for new lights), the team came back with a fair price and the change was quickly agreed via Co-Construct, but more importantly we made numerous minor changes to the design (e.g. moving stud work slightly or re-positioning / re-sizing things like doors, windows, shower tray, etc.) where we talked through the options and then they just got on with it without any quibbles, sometimes requiring re-work at no additional cost. Jon Pritchard Ltd has an excellent local reputation that will only be enhanced further by word of mouth from us.

We moved in to our loft room a few weeks ago and it really has exceeded our expectations. It is light, airy and one of the coolest rooms in the house even during the recent hot weather. The build process was relatively smooth and the team were onsite everyday. We were really impressed by the quality of the build and the overall finish. We had some additional work done and this was priced onsite and very reasonable. The onsite team were friendly and respectful and it was easy to keep up to date with the build as these were discussed onsite or via the co-construct App. We had the decoration and carpets done through Jon Pritchard and we were really impressed with the timescales and overall finish. We really love our loft room and are glad we chose Jon Pritchard to undertake the build.

Jon Pritchard and all his team were very friendly and helpful throughout the project. Their quote was reasonable and professionally presented. The design and plans were drawn up to our specifications and altered until we were happy with them. They gave us lots of good ideas. The build went without any significant hitches, and the team put up with all my questions and minor changes without complaint. Adrian, the project manager, was on hand to help with any difficulties. All the work was done to a high standard by our builders - Bogdan was very skilled, and the built in cupboards he made are fantastic. The shower room, designer by Paul Whittaker and fitted by Bogdan, is beautiful. The co construct app made communication easy, and the specialist trades were all great. It was exciting to watch the build develop and we couldn’t be happier with our new room. We are very pleased that we chose Jon Pritchard and would highly recommend them.

We live in a Victorian terrace in Bristol in an area where loft conversions are very popular. Even at the quote stage, I was very impressed with Jon Pritchards professionalism. We were appointed an operations manager, Adrian, who came, with Jon, to a prestart meeting. He was then my point of contact and came regularly to check in on the work. We had the same builders on site every day at 8am on the dot! They were polite, hard-working, and very tidy! As work progressed, the different trades were organised by Adrian and I was kept up to date throughout. Each tradesperson was up to the Jon Pritchard standard. We used their suggested bathroom specialist, Paul Whittaker, who was also extremely helpful. He even met us at the tile showroom to discuss tiles to suit our bathroom. He liased directly with Jon Pritchard with regards to sizes, delivery etc. so I didn't have to organise anything. Any glitches along the way and since (not that there have been many) have been dealt with immediately. We are now settled in our fantastic new loft room which is far beyond our expectations. We are so glad we used Jon Pritchard and would thoroughly recommend them.

The service from Jon Pritchard was excellent. We have already recommended them to friends directly and will continue to do so. The whole process was brilliant and Vince and the team onsite were exceptional (if you get Vince you are on to a winner). We love the loft and keep wondering why we didn't do it sooner. Get Jon Pritchard round now. I know there can be a wait for them but it's totally worth it!

Our experience with Jon Pritchard has been nothing but positive, from the initial design stage, right through to the eventual completion of our loft extension. Having the same youthful and continually cheery construction team on site made a world of difference to the whole process. Rhys, Connor and the rest of the various specialists all did a terrific job and certainly helped to increase the profits of the Yorkshire Tea Company!

Throughout the process of working with Jon and everyone involved in my loft, I knew what was going to happen, when and why. I got what I wanted from the design stage and throughout the project. I felt part of the team, as I was listened to and if there was anything I didn't understand about the construction or fit out stages it was explained in very helpful plain English and in a very respectful way. The core two builders who were at my house from start to finish of the project were really considerate and I was extremely happy to have them in my house from 8am to 4pm every week day for several weeks. If I had any concerns about any aspect of the project, the very helpful project manager for my loft responded quickly. This gave me the confidence not to worry and to relax into the project, and I actually found the process enjoyable even though it was a big project with many decisions to be made along the way. Using the project ap with all the specifications and decisions about my loft project also made a big difference. It was a personal service, even though the company is working at many sites across Bristol. I now have a stunning loft studio, incorporating a kitchenette and bi-fold doors, with a large separate bathroom.

Great from start to finish! At first they gave a really clear, fixed price quote, with helpful advice on layout and features. They had a lot of work on, so there was a wait to start - but it was well worth it. They arranged the architect and plans and we’re really pleased with the layout/design. Started on time and worked every day, rain or shine. The whole team were great - but worth mentioning that Sam and Jamie were always polite and really hard working throughout. We were expecting dust/mess during the build, but the team were so clean - I’ve never known any other workers who hoover and wipe down so often! Using the CoConstruct app was easy to keep in touch - and they would answer questions rapidly, without fail. Sorting any minor problems/changes along the way with no fuss. The end result looks great - we’re so pleased with it. We would recommend Jon Pritchard unreservedly and without hesitation. Compared to stories from neighbours using other companies, they have been quick, reliable, professional and given us a great loft conversion!

Zach team have completed replacing one small Velux with two larger Velux windows including replastering the ceiling to a fantastic standard. The customer service was excellent, beginning with visiting to discuss the job through to a visit after the job had been completed. We were informed, consulted and reassured throughout the process with a friendly and professional manner from all member of the team. We felt supported and in communication with Zach during the job so that we were clear with what to expect at each stage and how long it would take. Zach was evidently experienced and everything happened as he said it would. We would highly recommend Jon Pritchard to anyone considering a loft conversion or roof window refit.

We are so happy with our loft conversion. The whole process was so slick and the team kept us informed and answered our queries immediately throughout. John and Joe our builders were absolutely fantastic. It’s a big deal having people in the house a lot when you have a new baby, but they were so considerate, reliable and pleasant to have around. They are so skilled at their jobs and we were amazed at house quickly the new room took shape. We cannot fault their work and feel very lucky to have had John and Joe as our team.

The Jon Pritchard team were great, and their collective experience was both impressive and reassuring. The process, from quotation to final tweaks, was handled with calm professionalism and skill. Communication throughout the project was excellent, both on site and with the office. We were pretty daunted by the prospect of the work but everything was handled expertly and it made things as stress-free as possible. We were particularly happy with Dom and Mat, who were always friendly and courteous. We have young kids, so it was brilliant to have such nice people working on the house. Several neighbours have praised them too! They worked incredibly hard, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were delighted with the end result. We feel lucky to have had them working on the house. We are in love with our loft conversion. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jon Pritchard to friends and family in the future.

Fantastic company, from top-to-bottom. From the minute Jon came over I was convinced that he would be the preferred contractor. He was one of three firms chosen to quote, he demonstrated a more professional approach and optimistic mentality. Jon's entire team deserves praise, whilst they might be young, they are hardworking, polite, and decent craftsmen. All communication was handled through an app, very easy to use. The entire process ran like clockwork - mainly due to their professionalism and procedural mentality. Good value, coming in with a very competitive quote. Would gladly recommend again - no problems since, 10/10.

Before we had work carried out we got four quotations and although Jon Pritchard was not the cheapest we decided to go with him as we felt most comfortable with his approach. Once we gave them the go ahead the process was explained clearly and the schedule put in place, All ran like clockwork and the team involved were exceptional, being courteous and considerate at all times. The level of workmanship was outstanding and any mess was cleared on a daily basis with a minimum level of disruption. I would highly recommend Jon Pritchard as the provider of choice for a loft conversion. From the initial consultation to the conclusion of the project Jon and his team provided a consistently high level of service. Jon Pritchard was one of three prospective companies that we interviewed. Jon's manner and approach to the project immediately distinguished himself from his competitors. He was patient and attentive to our numerous questions and concerns, very clear on how the job would be carried out and offered an extremely competitive quotation which included additions which would have attracted a premium from the other competitors. Jon's project director, Adrian, provided invaluable support throughout the project ensuring that any issues that arose were quickly dealt with. Jon has a highly motivated and skilled team who, as well as producing work of a very high standard, were helpful and responsive to ensuring that the finished product met our expectations.

We shopped around to find a specialist Loft Conversion Company and Jon Pritchard came highly recommended. We were not disappointed by their professional approach and excellent workmanship. Jon Pritchard himself gave us a competitive quote which we accepted. We needed to wait awhile for the building work to start due to this company's popularity but it was worth holding on. Their in house Architect provided helpful drawings which we were able to tweak several times until we were happy. The 3 main carpenters (headed by Adam Noble - Project Manager) were very helpful and friendly with excellent workmanship, timekeeping and reliability. Adam brought "in house" tradesmen when needed to complete electrical and plumbing works without a day wasted. Occasionally they needed to add in a Saturday morning to keep pace with the build but this was fine. Extra shelves, fitted wardrobes and cupboards were added at a reasonable extra cost. The final result was completed on time after 8 weeks as planned and we are very happy with the result. We would highly recommend Jon Pritchard and his skilled team for your future loft conversion.

We had a terrific experience with Jon, Adrian, their in house trades as well as others. They were middle of our three quotes and we're so pleased we worked with them. We're three years after completion now and we still love what they did. We had a minor problem with our roof but this was resolved properly and with no hassle. A true sign of an honourable business. Top work. No wonder the business is doing well. We always recommend them!

Jon Pritchard did an excellent job of our recent loft conversion - the end product is fantastic, with an extremely high quality finish to the work, and we are delighted with our new bedroom and en suite bathroom. The web portal that is provided to support the project management is great, and allows for daily updates and fairly rapid communications. Jon Pritchard were very responsive when we raised any issues and sorted them out appropriately. The team who were on site throughout the build were exemplary - very careful and extremely conscientious.

Everything from helpful discussions about choices at the design phase to always looking for small improvements during the build. I felt well informed including of compromises that would result of decisions made.

Communication from pre to post build has been impressive through the use of a client portal which meant that we and every one in Jon Pritchard could see and understand what was happening and when at all times. Very clear change control meant that there were no "surprises" when it came to invoicing and final costs. The on site Team was led by Vince who was outstanding, meticulous in delivering our requirements and scheduling his colleagues for the relevant elements / trades of the build; every one of the Team was a pleasure to have in our home, always on time, polite, tidied after themselves and if any query (or change needed!) always made themselves available on site at convenient times to discuss and agree the next actions. We are very happy with the end result, we now have a beautiful loft room which really has exceeded our expectations. Would not hesitate to recommend JP, its just a shame that they only build lofts, but they do build them exceptionally well! Thank you to everyone - office and on site teams.

I highly recommend using Jon Prichard for any loft conversion being considered. Having had loft conversions before, the service provided by Jon Prichard is exceptional and if we were to do another, we would not hesitate to use Jon again. From the design stage to the fitting of carpets, all of the team were extremely professional and the communication throughout was very clear so we always knew what was happening and when. The use of an app allows very prompt and effective communication which was very useful as we both work and were not in the house whilst work was continuing. Any questions or queries we had were immediately responded to. Pictures were sent throughout so that we could see what had been done and to what standard. The quality of the finish is of a very high standard and all of the team took great pride in achieving the finish they wanted. With the wealth of experience that exists in the company, we were given lots of advice and ideas that we had not considered which has led to a loft conversion that makes the most of the space that we had. The work was completed on time and to budget and represented very good value for money. There were no extra hidden costs. We are so pleased that we chose Jon Prichard as our expectations were exceeded and we now have a loft conversion that we are delighted with.

We shortlisted Jon Pritchard Lofts (JPL) after talking to neighbours about the various companies in the Bristol area who do loft conversions. They produced a competitive price based on our requirements and said that they could start in October and that the project would take 8 weeks to complete, which we accepted. In spite of Covid, JPL started at the end of October and were complete by Christmas without any unexpected cost increases or extensions of time. Marcus, Billy and the rest of the JPL team were hardworking, courteous and kept us up to speed with progress by putting progress photos on the project website as we could not enter the loft. Their processes are well thought out and they have a good supply chain with whom they have negotiated discounts and quick product availability. We had one moment of panic when the dormer roof was being built and we had a mini-tornado at 9pm which dislodged the temporary tarpaulin which was protecting the half-built roof. When we saw a damp patch on the ceiling we knew it was time to call Jon before it got worse. To their credit Jon and a couple of members of his team were here within 20 minutes and they spent a couple of hours on the roof in a gale and driving rain reinstating the protection. We have no hesitation in recommending JPL to others.

We chose Jon Pritchard to convert our loft into our new bedroom and en-suite bathroom and the whole team definitely exceeded our expectations. It has completely transformed our home and we are extremely happy with it. Dave and Paddy were absolutely brilliant and were a pleasure to have working in our home. The whole team were very polite, professional and gave helpful, honest advice. Their knowledge and experience enabled us to feel confident with the whole project.
