Julian Hurst is a great shop and carpet fitter. They have a wide selection of carpets and let you try out large-size samples so you get a much better idea at home of how the sample would look. Julian was very helpful and knowledgeable. His team quickly and diligently fitted good quality carpets to our staircase over 3 stories and we love the result. Very professional. Would highly recommend.

We love our new carpets! Julian was fantastic from start to finish. He had various carpet samples brought to us, as my husband had a stroke and could not get down to the shop. He answered all our questions and explained things clearly. The carpets were measured, and someone was sent to take some off the bottom of the doors, as the carpets we chose were quite thick. Our lounge was done first, with underlay and then carpets laid. The guys did a great job, vacuuming at the end, and giving us a kit to clean any future stains. We had to wait with the hall, as it was being painted, by a company recommended by Julian. We discovered a small problem, as the lounge carpet was thick and luxurious, but my husband had trouble walking on it, so Julian kindly arranged for the halls & stairs carpet to be changed to a less thick carpet, of the same make and colour, even though it had already been ordered, which was really helpful! Once the painting was done, Hassan worked all day, removing the old carpet, and laying the new carpet on the two halls and stairs. All in all, a brilliant result! There were numerous phone calls, to arrange all this, and Julian was such a pleasure to work with, with his courteous and lovely way of speaking! I would definitely recommend Julian Hurst Interiors to anyone looking for carpets or floor covering.

It was a delight to find a company that takes such pride in their work. Julian is an extremely attentive salesman, talking you through the whole process, without ever trying to 'pressure sell' you into anything. A good listener, he understands what the customer needs and makes it his business to deliver. Service was prompt, efficient and the fitting done with minimum fuss and to an extremely high standard. Highly recommended.

Julian Hurst Interiors are the best. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. We had our four bedrooms, lounge, stairs and landings fitted with carpet and luxury vinyl tiles installed in the hallway which all look fantastic. Really impressed with the first-class service and on time delivery. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Julian and his team.

We have just had a Parador light oak laminate floor fitted to most of the ground floor of our home to replace a cream coloured carpet we inherited from the previous owner when we moved in a year ago. It took three days to be installed by Julian’s expert and friendly fitter who did a beautiful job as he had to cope with many awkward spots and moving many bits of furniture. The finished job has transformed the whole look of the ground floor and we are delighted with it. We are satisfied that we have had a very high quality product fitted really well as Parador is clearly superior to cheaper alternatives. Friends and family who have seen it have all been very impressed with the new look our home now has. Julian dealt with us in a very professional manner and we have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone who wants to enhance their home with the products he supplies.

Thank you so much Julian and the team! From the moment I walked into the shop to the moment the last piece of carpet was laid, I felt looked after. The whole process was so straightforward, we were kept up to date and he was always at the end of the phone if we needed any questions answered. He was really amenable as far as we could only get the room in the loft done at first and then a month later we were able to do the stairs and so he waited which really helped! It felt refreshingly easy in that you could actually speak to someone. I would like to thank Michael who laid the carpet. He was so lovely and just cracked on with the job. What a craft it is! I will never look at a carpeted staircase in quite the same light as I used to. Thank you so much for a really great service.
