The task was to redecorate our 4 bedroom 1890s townhouse (with the exception of one small room) over three and a half weeks. KAB achieved this with minimum fuss and to a high standard. We are very pleased with the end result. They were punctual throughout and were willing to put in the extra half hour where necessary. They worked hard throughout the three weeks At each stage they consulted us on our requirements and explained what they planned to do. Where the odd difficulty arose, KAB discussed with us the nature of the problem and suggested ways of solving, it which were effective in each case. They were very personable throughout and where they considered we might have difficulty making all areas of each room as accessible as possible, they offered very helpful support. On the day after completion they made an additional brief visit to ensure we were satisfied with their work and offered to put finishing touches to things we might have spotted overnight. Should the occasion arise, we would not hesitate to make KAB our first choice in the future.

I wanted to thank Keith and his son Jensen for their great work repairing the frames of my bay window and painting the entire bay window of my living room. They were proactive, courteous, punctual and professional, delivered great quality work, and went above and beyond when they spotted unexpected issues with one of my window panels to fix them. KAB painted our wooden sash windows, along with some external painting to our house and did a lovely job. The painting looks great and is a big improvement. Keith and Jensen were professional, courteous, punctual and tidied up after each days work. The work was of a high standard and we would certainly recommend them to others.

We had them round to refurbish our sadly deteriorated outside facias/soffits. Keith came round and quickly provided a quote. They always get good reviews and word of mouth soon travels so they were not due to be available for several weeks. As it turned out, poor weather gave them an opportunity to do our smaller job much sooner. We were so pleased that we had chosen KAB Decorating Services. Keith and his son Jason patiently dealt with the intermittent rainy conditions, and did a thorough job of preparing the woodwork, then applying quality exterior paints. We have ended up with a very professional finish, which highlights the poor condition of the adjoining neighbours’ facias. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they included clearing the gutters out while they were on the ladders. Keith & his son Jenson recently painted the outside of my house plus two bedrooms. The front of my house was in a really bad state & Keith & Jensen prepared it very thoroughly, before painting. Wallpapering was involved in one of the bedrooms which Keith undertook very carefully & the result was amazing! Their work on my house was altogether of a high standard & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Keith & Jensen were professional, courteous & very pleasant to have around. They were also punctual, kept to their original quote & tidied up after each days work. A great team!

KAB Decorating Services have just completed painting the outside of our three storey late Victorian terraced house. Following a competitive quote they organised some very tidy scaffolding and did a thorough job of preparing the woodwork and repairing two stone sills that needed more attention than we anticipated. The quality of the finished paintwork is excellent. Keith and his son were very professional, good communicators, and a pleasure to work with.

Keith and his son painted the internal wooden frames of our windows which needed a freshen up. I found it easy to schedule the work. Keith provided a competitive quote which represented very good value for money considering what our builders were quoting us as part of a much bigger job. Everything went well and we were very pleased with the work. I would not hesitate to recommend and am going to ask for a quote for another job that is on the cards very soon.

The décor in our town house was distinctly old and jaded; varnish/paintwork discoloured, rusty radiators, cracked plaster etc. We identified the local decorators who were Which? Trusted Traders and approached KAB for a quote. We met Keith, who completely understood our requirements and the work involved, and had no hesitation in accepting that. In three weeks, the agreed work was completed to schedule and at estimated cost. Keith and his son Jensen had completely transformed our interior. On all counts their work was excellent. Along with achieving a very high standard for the finished product, they were always punctual, courteous and sociable, and took pains to minimise the inevitable disruption. Some specialist plumbing and electrical work was required and carried out to a high degree of satisfaction. Keith organised all this through his network of proficient tradesmen. What impressed us as the work progressed, was KAB’s desire to get the final product right by frequently discussing with us, the pros and cons of alternatives where choices had to be made; often guiding us gently to the correct option! We hope to use KAB in future and have no hesitation in recommending them on all aspects of their workmanship!

Keith and his son did a very professional job on the repairs, preparation and painting of the front of my Victorian house. The wooden sash windows and the stone sills needed a lot of repair work using a resin filler. As I wasn’t present at the house Keith took the trouble to send me photos of the preparation and work required prior to doing the repairs. He was also happy to discuss the work and the proposed repairs with my partner, giving practical advice which reflected his knowledge and experience. He replied to messages promptly and I quickly came to realise that, if he said he would do something, he could be relied upon to do it. Both he and his son clearly take pride in their work, are knowledgeable, considerate and helpful. I would definitely use their services again.

Keith and his son Jason decorated our hall and stairs. They did a really good job and offered help and advice. They took in their stride some extra work that we wanted and worked on a Saturday, which was very kind. The painting and prep had not been done well before, but they have transformed it. They are both lovely people and very polite and thoughtful. They hoovered and cleared regularly. Impressed. Hoping they will be back for other decorating jobs. Highly recommend.

I am completely happy and confident to recommend K A B Decorating Services. Keith and his son Jenson have just spent the last couple of weeks repainting practically the whole of our flat. This was a job that needed to be done but which we were dreading because of the upheaval to our routine. Not only were we pleased with what they did but also grateful for the way they carried out this task, working around our daily living needs. I have used Keith and his son for a number of outdoor painting/repair jobs and I highly recommend them. They do a great job, are professional and friendly. The work is delivered on time and at the cost quoted. Great for all types of painting/repair. They also carried out larger jobs eg repainting a boathouse - very large folding doors, outside masonry paint and the "stable doors" to our beer cellar. Plus renewing and revarnishing a wood front door and internal redecoration of the rowing club.

Keith and his son Jensen painted my kitchen and some external walls. They did an excellent job repairing some cracks in the mortar to leave a flawless finish. They worked hard to get the job done on time and on budget and kindly fitted in some extra painting that wasn’t quoted, to ensure I was happy. I was very pleased with their work, their attention to detail and pleasant manner. They were a pleasure to work with and it’s clear that Keith is very experienced in his trade. They are customer focused and understand how inconvenient decorating can be for clients so they are careful to cover everything and clean up after the job. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional decorator.

Over three weeks Keith and Jenson painted our townhouse inside and out, including a two-storey atrium. It was potentially challenging to have decorators in our home for such a long time. But it was entirely stress-free thanks to their flexibility and sensitivity. They were always calm, considerate and polite; and we enjoyed their company. They kept to the agreed schedule and completed the work on time and within budget. They cleaned up as they worked and thoroughly cleaned and hoovered at the end of each day. The preparation of surfaces to be painted was meticulous and the end result was excellent as a result. I would recommend them without reservation.

My relationship with Keith goes back two and a half years, to January 2020, when I asked him to quote for painting my hall and staircase. He did a splendid job, and since then has become my trusted, valued partner in the long-term project of re-decorating my entire house: hall and staircase, three bedrooms, kitchen and utility room, bathroom and toilet, attic studio and garage. Keith's son Jensen joined him in the later stages: he is following in his father's very professional footsteps, and together they completed the final rooms last week. The work has been spread over four stages during the two and a half years since then. Every bit of it has been done to a thoroughly high standard. Keith understands the importance to the finished job of meticulous preparation (not all painters do). Every crack has been carefully raked out and filled (and when necessary re-filled after the first coat of paint) and any necessary re-plastering done. The painting itself was done beautifully - well brushed out, with no smears on the window panes. The inevitable few little splashes were quickly cleaned up, and whichever room they were working in was left clean and tidy at the end of the day. All that deserves my five stars. But it doesn't take in the kindness and generosity of the man himself, for whom nothing seems to be too much trouble, and who is genuinely a pleasure to work with and to know. My house has been completely transformed thanks to Keith, and I'm very grateful to him.

Keith of KAB Decorating Services was recommended to us by our kitchen fitter. Keith was able to make time in a very busy schedule to fit in a plastering job that we hadn’t anticipated at the start of our kitchen project, including working at the weekend. He and his colleague were friendly, polite, communicated well, arrived when they said they would, completed the work to a very good standard and in the time they estimated it would take, they cleared up after the work and stayed within their quote. Keith repaired and painted five window sills. Would highly recommend Keith. He finished the work quickly but not in a rushed way, was very friendly and knowledgeable, turned up on time and left everything looking good and tidy. Lovely guy and great work.

Had polystyrene ceiling tiles removed from hall and ceiling plastered. Then hall, stairs and landing and seven doors painted. KAB came on time and were extremely careful to protect all the carpet with plastic and sheeting. They worked hard and steadily with only a short break for lunch and completed the work within five days. They were polite, pleasant and considerate all the time. They hoovered carefully at the end of each day before leaving. The end result was extremely good and we are very pleased with it.

Keith and Jenson have just finished decorating 2 of our bedrooms having done some exterior redecoration for us last year. They've done another great job, they take great pride in their work and are the tidiest, quietest decorators ever! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

We asked Keith to redecorate the front of our house and it looks great. He also helped us with some other stuff too - checking and sealing our front guttering and also fixing our front gate - which we really appreciated and although it wasn't something he could do himself he gave us some really useful advice on how we might approach resurfacing the area in front of the house. We were very grateful for the calm, flexible and considerate way in which he managed the work around us and the weather. It was a pleasure to have Keith and his son around.

Keith responded quickly to our request to provide a quote to repair and repaint the windowsills at the front of the house. The quote was very reasonable and he was able to commence the work quite quickly. He and his son worked very steadily throughout the 2 days they were here. They checked that we were happy with what their plans were and with the choices of paint, etc. They did a good job of repairing the sills and we are very pleased with the painting work that they did. They were very pleasant to have working on the house, quiet and very careful about tidying up. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

We picked K.A.B. because it was well reviewed and local. We contacted Keith, who was able to visit in a couple of days time. In the "walk-round", it was obvious that Keith was an experienced tradesman, pointing-out potential problems; the quotation arrived in a couple of days. The work was able to be started sooner than expected and completed in about two weeks, within budget, despite some minor repairs and variable weather. We found the whole experience stress-free, with Keith always contactable.

We hired Keith to paint the exterior of our house following some great work he did for us last year. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and did a brilliant job. The paintwork was meticulous and careful on both the wood windows and stone/ cement sills etc. He spent a lot of care before painting to repair the cracks etc in the surfaces and deliver a really good finish.
