K Barnard Brickwork

Hired Ben and his crew to redecorate the tired exterior of my 1930s semi. Included repainting, fixing render where appropriate, removing paint from the front of the house, repointing brickwork and painting windows etc. They also organised the hire of a scaffolding firm. They did a great job! High quality work, kept the site clean throughout and worked hard (even in the heatwave!). Communication was easy and they were a pleasure to deal with. They even came in slightly under their quote.

I cannot recommend Keith, Ben, Lee and the whole team highly enough for the excellent work they carried out on the rear of our house and we will definitely be contacting them again when we do the front! They restored the brickwork and replaced missing bricks; repointed all three storeys in lime mortar, including the parapet and chimney adjoining our neighbours; replaced the plinth; rebuilt the outside steps; and arranged for the flat roof to be repaired. Their associates who repaired the latter were also excellent. Throughout they were communicative, professional, friendly, resourceful, punctual every morning for four weeks, worked to budget and on time. The quality of their work has also been admired by tradespeople we have had subsequently for other jobs!

Ben, Keith, Lee and the team carried out work to repair and replace blown and crumbled bricks any re-paint the front of our house plus some repairs to cracks in the back garden wall. The work is top quality and the house looks amazing. They even repaired a loose flagstone on our front path out of courtesy! Everything was finished on time and to the agreed price. They’re a great team to work with - professional, friendly and with good attention to detail. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend Keith, Ben, Lee, Gary, Tyler and the whole team. They did an excellent job repointing the front of our house and repairing and repainting the window sills. I had the front of my Victorian house painted and some repairs and paving done. I had to wait a while for the work to start, but once begun, they were diligent and took care to prepare surfaces thoroughly. They consulted on getting details right and advised me on options. The team worked hard to complete everything as soon as possible, and the finished result looks good. I would use them again without hesitation.

We had a recommendation from neighbours on our street to get in touch with Keith/Ben as we wanted our masonry surrounds in our Victorian property for our 9 windows to be rebuilt. Our Victorian window sills and all detailing/paintwork had been in really poor condition. We were also concerned that we may get water leaks at some point so wanted some repointing carried out to our brickwork - and for a large section of brickwork to be colour matched as it was not in keeping with the rest of the brickwork in our Victorian property. Ben and Keith came over to give us a very reasonable quote. The work they carried out was top quality and we are absolutely delighted with the results - both from an aesthetic perspective (our property now looks amazing) but also they have done a really thorough job. They also helped to repair our outside wall and did a lot of painting including both to our outside wall and our windows - again, this was all done extremely methodically and it all looks brilliant. To top it all off, they are a really friendly team and we had no hesitation with leaving them in our house and really enjoyed chatting with them. Above all, we trusted them 100% with their decisions and that they were doing what was the right thing for both us and our property. We will be recommending them to anyone and everyone!
