I've dealt with trade people in past but this company's professionalism was second to none from meet and greet on the first meeting to every step of the project they were clean and tidy and very knowledgeable and took time to explain what exactly they were doing and when they were doing it plus completed the job on time. I will recommend them to friends and family.

Last year, I got KC Roofing to come over to investigate an issue with damp in one of the top floor rooms. Upon inspection, I was told that there was probably an issue with degradation of the roof's underfelt and that it needed replacing. In addition, to help with ventilation in the loft area, it was advised to have 4 roof vents fitted. I felt that the work went ok - there were delays in responses to questions, but I know they are busy and they would get back to me eventually. Now in April of this year, I had got in touch with them because one of those roof vent caps has come off. There is a lovely hole in my roof and I have called and emailed twice and there has been no reply at all. I have got another roofer in to see what I can do about the issues. They tell me that they can see the tiles were the underfelt was laid are not fitted properly, the tiles around the existing roof vents are not fitted properly and due to the first point, it is likely that I still have rain / wind entering where tiles are not completely in place. Additionally, the roofer asked why were the roof vents fitted - no other property in the street has them? As I haven't had a response from KC Roofing, I am also wondering what is going on. So far, not at all happy.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As you are probably aware by looking at our profile, we don’t have much experience in receiving negative reviews. I would like to apologise for the dissatisfaction that you feel as this is not normally the way we handle our complaints. After looking into your complaint, I can confirm that we received an email from you advising us that one of the plastic roof vents had blown out after a year or so of fitting. You reported this at the same time we were suffering from very high winds. Within 24 hours you had a response offering you an appointment for the very same week which you responded saying it wasn’t good enough. We then tried to call you multiple times and had no response. I don’t believe we were responsible for the repair. The roof work was out of guarantee and the damage caused should have been passed to your insurance company as the roof had suffered with diverse weather. We welcome all reviews whether they are negative or positive as this gives us something to learn from and a way of improving the delivery of our business. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I genuinely believe that we had done everything we could’ve done and have provided all correspondence, including email chains over to Which? and have asked them to remove this review.
