Kalibre Kitchens and Bathrooms

Kalibre renovated a shower / utility room to a very high standard. They stripped out the room, removing tiles and a previous cupboard. In so doing they revealed that some of the previous electrical work was substandard, and that the walls and ceiling were poorly finished. The room now has a replastered ceiling, a new floor, floor to ceiling tiles, a new smaller utilities cupboard, a new shower and cubicle with non-slip flooring and fluted privacy glass, new washbasin and cupboard, new radiator, vanity unit, extractor fan, toilet and lighting. All the people who worked on the project were very skilled, professional and a pleasure to meet. From the start Jo was keen that the project should meet our particular requirements and always had a range of options to discuss. She is approachable, helpful and super-efficient. Suppliers and tradespeople recognise and emulate her high standards. Minor setbacks were quickly dealt with, and nothing was too much trouble. The schedule was followed as written and extra works required were carefully explained and quickly carried out. Communications were prompt and to the point: they are good at keeping in touch. Kalibre’s aftercare is excellent.

I originally found Kalibre Kitchens via a local Facebook group and followed them on Instagram for a while before contacting them. From the outset Clive was friendly and helpful and inspired confidence. Clive shows excellent attention to detail and has lots of ideas and questions about things you wouldn't consider yourself. He also has an excellent team to work on the projects and manages everything so the customer doesn't have to worry about anything. We had our kitchen and utility room upgraded on the same footprint as the old ones, and the project took 3 weeks. My husband and I were delighted with the final result and the fact that upheaval was kept to a minimum (eg the washing machine remained plumbed in so we could use it). It was really good value for money - good project management, good fittings and quality finish. We would definitely use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

We used Kalibre for our kitchen and were delighted so had no hesitation is using them for our recent bathroom overhaul. We now have a lovely new bathroom which we are very pleased with. All the tradesmen used by Kalibre are hard working, polite and do a really good job.

Having a new kitchen fitted can be very stressful but Kalibre Kitchens & Bathrooms made it all stress-free. Communication from the beginning was excellent. Great advice and patience while we tried to decide on what style kitchen we wanted and then all the extra finishing touches to add. The manufacturers they use for the furniture is stunning and such good quality. Clive explained when the kitchen would be ordered, delivered and installed. He project-managed the whole thing and was available anytime we had a question. The schedule of the installation was superb. Each workman had their own days to do their bit. Removing kitchen, updating electrics, moving gas supply and adding some extra plumbing. I felt the whole project was not rushed in any way. The fitter had attention to detail so all our cupboards are fitted perfectly. The end result, we have a magnificent kitchen at a very good price. We would recommend Kalibre Kitchen and Bathrooms to anyone.

We recently had our kitchen refurbished by Kalibre Kitchens and Bathrooms and from the first engagement to the completion of the work, we found Clive and his team to be extremely helpful and all work was done to a very high standard. The various stages of the refurbishment were all carried out according to the published schedule and the final bill was exactly as quoted. Any issues (and there were very few) were dealt with immediately and effectively with Clive attending regularly to check on progress. Had a nice new family bathroom designed, supplied and fitted. Good service by Jo once we’d decided the units we wanted and a couple of revisions were well handled. They use a small set of trusted and very reliable installers, including electrics, flooring, plastering and decoration. The bathroom fitter was outstanding. No hesitation in recommending.

We wanted to replace our bathroom and toilet and were recommended to use Kalibre by family who had received great service. They were amazing from start to finish. Fabulous workmanship and excellent communication throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very pleased with our en-suite, the work was completed efficiently, we had a detailed schedule of works, so we knew at any time who to expect. The communication throughout was very good. We spotted a chipped tile and a mark on the toilet after the work was completed, both of these were immediately put right. Would definitely recommend Kalibre.

Jo and her team have been brilliant from start to finish planning and installing a new family bathroom, cloakroom, and replacing the bath and tap in my en suite. Jo took care to help me find the right products and was very patient about changes. Her team of fitters all arrived when they said they would, let me know of any changes, and were good at protecting surfaces and keeping mess to a minimum. I’m hugely grateful to them all for their professionalism and for taking the time to do a fantastic job. If you are looking for a bathroom to be replaced, I recommend Jo and her team. I’ve had bad experiences before and know how stressful it is when things aren’t done well - my experience with Jo and her team was the polar opposite. I would definitely use them again.

I inherited a horrible kitchen that was literally falling apart and now, thanks to Kalibre, I have a fabulous kitchen that I'm exceedingly proud of. I wanted to use a local, independent company and luckily I found Kalibre who have been brilliant from my very first contact with Clive and throughout the whole process. As soon as I met Clive to discuss my requirements I absolutely knew I was in safe hands. There wasn't much that could be changed in such a small space but Clive found ways to creatively increase storage space. From our initial discussions Clive produced a design, which was tweaked a few times, and once all agreed, he expertly project managed the whole process. The units are exceptional quality along with all the other products supplied. Any issues were minor and dealt with promptly and professionally either by Clive personally, or one of his truly dedicated friendly team:- James, Stuart, Dave, Peter, Paul and Jamie worked together seamlessly to Clive's detailed programme. There's no denying having a kitchen refit is relatively stressful and disruptive but Clive and his team made it all absolutely worthwhile. I highly recommend Clive and his team at Kalibre to anyone who is wanting a kitchen refit.

Kalibre recently designed and fitted a new kitchen & utility room for us. (This is the third or fourth time we have used them. They did a couple of bathrooms previously which were immaculately designed, managed and executed.) The kitchen is incredibly good. Clive was so patient and helpful while I went through various changes of mind and he came up with my perfect design. He has a way of very gently steering you towards the perfect solution without being pushy or overbearing. He simply knows his stuff! Installation was smooth, the expert installers were a delight to work with and the quality of the final finish is exceptional. Clive organised the snagging of things we hadn’t even noticed! I would recommend them to anyone wanting a personal, friendly, expert and professional job. Another bathroom beckons!

We really rate Kalibre Kitchens and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen. Clive was very much on top of the detail. He checked on design points we hadn't thought of and advised us on various aspects when we needed his expertise. There weren't any problems with his orders and he even managed to make a rush order for us when we changed our minds on something. We appreciated receiving a day-by-day itinerary beforehand, and we were impressed that the days (more or less) followed the itinerary and that it was completed on the target date. The team were all very helpful and considerate, and we loved Andre, our fitter. We've used Kalibre for two jobs this year - our ensuite bathroom and our kitchen. We are absolutely delighted with both. From start to finish their approach has been extremely professional. They had great ideas, used reliable and experienced tradesmen, high quality products and offered seamless project management. Virtually every aspect of both went completely to plan in terms of timing and delivery. Any small hitches with unavailable products etc were ironed out very quickly by Jo or Clive. While their prices were not the cheapest, there were no hidden costs or nasty surprises when the invoice arrived and I suspect this would have been the case with the others who quoted. The quality is top notch and we expect these rooms to last us long into the future.

From the 1st meeting with Jo to install our new bathroom until the very end as a team have been Friendly, Professional, with lots of inspiring ideas. Kalibre Kitchens removed and disposed of my old kitchen, installed new units, appliances, floor, ceiling, lights, electrics and and decoration. I was wary of replacing my old but much loved kitchen. I was worried about the design, the quality and the cost. Clive made it easy. He listened very carefully to my requirements and came up with several proposals which we were able to work through and discuss before agreeing on a plan. At no point did I feel hassled. I was very impressed by the detailed breakdown of the quote Clive supplied. This was a great help in making decisions. I was given a schedule of all the works and the tradesmen who would be coming to the house. Without exception they were all polite, tidy, helpful and the workmanship was superb. All queries and problems were dealt with immediately, without fuss. Clive regularly checked that everything was going to plan and was always available for any concerns. Clive had done an excellent job on the utility room at my previous house so I had no hesitation in using Kalibre Kitchens for the large project on my next house. It was a typical 1970s house that has now had the back of the building transformed into a stylish and ergonomic kitchen and utility room. The design was faultless with special attention given to ease of use and with many clever storage ideas. Clive worked closely, and seamlessly, with my builder. The installation, as before, couldn’t have been better with care and attention given at every stage. Plumbers, electricians and the installer all arrived on time, cleared up and were considerate and pleasant. James, the installer, kept disruption and mess down to a minimum. Everything was carefully timetabled and each stage was started and finished on time. I have had no hesitation in recommending Clive and his team to friends and acquaintances.

Kalibre Kitchens designed and installed a new kitchen for us during September/October. Clive of Kalibre also managed the project for us from start to finish making the experience as stress free as possible. We are delighted with our new kitchen which was delivered on time and in line with Clive’s quote, albeit we asked for a few additions which the final invoice reflected. We would highly recommend the company for both the end product, but also the quality of the team used by Clive together with his clear communication and attention to detail. His sub-contractors were all friendly, also working to a high standard and very tidy. Any minor issue raised by us since the project was completed have been dealt with quickly by Clive and to our entire satisfaction.

Kalibre installed a replacement main bathroom. They had previously installed an en-suite bathroom for us. Both jobs were completed on time and to budget. We received well in advance details of the trades and the dates on which they would be in attendance. All arrived on time and completed the work on time and to our complete satisfaction. All trades were quiet and courteous at all times. Project planning and management was done with meticulous attention to quality and detail. Nothing was too much trouble for them and excellent ongoing communication meant that we knew exactly what was to happen, and when. Minor problems on re-routing pipework etc were resolved quickly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in using them again or for recommending them to others.

Kalibre came to us as a recommendation. Jo and the team did a brilliant job replacing our very old ensuite. Jo took on board our ideas and wishlist and delivered an excellent design. The project was managed very efficiently by her, on time and on budget. The installation team were very easy to work with a special mention to Jon who did the main part of the work. We are delighted with our ensuite and are happy to recommend Kalibre.
