Kalibre Kitchens and Bathrooms

We employed Kalibre to change our family bathroom into a shower room. Before the work began Jo gave us some very helpful advice and prepared a computer generated design. She also gave us a timetable setting out who would be on site each day and what they would be doing. The costing indicated any extra items which might be necessary depending on what was found as the work progressed. The project ran smoothly and the tradesmen were punctual,friendly efficient. We are very pleased with the final result and would not hesitate to recommend Kalibre to others.

Kalibre Kitchens did a full refit of our existing 30-year old kitchen. Clive and all his team were always very pleasant to deal with, punctual and tidy. The suggested design of our new kitchen was excellent and made really good use of the space we've got. A detailed quote and timetable were provided which helped us to plan accordingly. We felt confident and assured using Kalibre Kitchens throughout this very disruptive job, and would recommend them without hesitation.

We were well advised from the beginning for our replacement kitchen, given choices/options/ideas to consider and our expectations were managed at every stage. The project management was well planned and seamless, we were kept informed of events daily and the tradesmen used, plumbers, electricians, plasterer and installers were all very clearly skilled, experienced and tidy. It was completed to a very high standard, at the agreed cost and on time and the stress was completely removed. After shopping around different kitchen designers/fitters we decided on Kalibre Kitchens & we’re glad we did. The design & installation was well planned in advance by Clive Crail who was extremely helpful & very professional. We were given a three week schedule with names of all the tradesmen who would be working during that time. We were really pleased with all the tradesmen but a special thanks goes to Andy Robins the kitchen fitter who went the extra inch to do a very professional job. Also to Stuart Crail the electrician who also worked to a very high standard. To anyone thinking about a new kitchen installation we would highly recommend Kalibre Kitchens. You won’t be disappointed; the well planned and sequenced work schedule which went like clockwork removes any stress from the customer.

Absolutely delighted with the kitchen designed and installed by Clive and his team. From start to finish everything was was very well managed, clearly explained, planned in detail and installed efficiently and skillfully. We required a full kitchen replacement, with almost all appliances replacing as well as electrical, plumbing, plastering, flooring and tiling work. The quote was within budget ; the price examples on the website had set our expectations. The quote was detailed but easy to understand and some images of the proposed design helped us visualise it. After a couple of iterations and the final go ahead, we received a plan for the 3 week installation. All the trades people were excellent; all top quality. There were no significant issues and everything went to schedule. Highly recommended.

We’re thrilled to bits with the finished result. Kalibre Kitchens transformed our tired old galley kitchen into a sleek modern space. As we have come to expect from Kalibre Kitchens, Clive’s project management was excellent and his teams worked very hard to meet our needs. Reliability is a key word: their teams turn up on time, tasks are completed on the scheduled day and it is clear that the current job has their full engagement- no stealing off to finish work elsewhere. We went back to Kalibre as previously we had received an excellent service. A tired and dated bathroom has been transformed into a beautiful and user-friendly space. A wall was removed, the bath replaced with a walk in shower with subtle aids such as grab handles and a fold up seat incorporated into the overall design. The work was carried out efficiently by skilled craftsmen who solved any difficulty and problems as they arose and went the extra mile to ensure that everything looked good and worked perfectly. The project was skillfully managed and a schedule of work provided so that we knew who was coming into the house, and when. The work has been completed on time to a very high standard. The personal touch from planning to completion resulted in a major refurbishment being stress free (for us) and we are delighted with end result.

Clive and the team transformed my small out of date kitchen into a truly amazing modern kitchen. Their attention to detail and workmanship is fantastic and I would highly recommend. The kitchen came in as budget and to the planned schedule of works, the team were a pleasure to have in my home and were all friendly and left things tidy at the end of each day. The end result is the kitchen is transformed into a high end looking kitchen without the high end price tag. Clive was so patient at the design stage as you decide on the things you want and nothing was too much trouble. I was given a plan of the schedule of works so I knew what to expect each day and Clive was more than happy to answer my 101 questions! I originally found Kalibre Kitchens via a local Facebook group and followed them on Instagram for a while before contacting them. From the outset Clive was friendly and helpful and inspired confidence. Clive shows excellent attention to detail and has lots of ideas and questions about things you wouldn't consider yourself. He also has an excellent team to work on the projects and manages everything so the customer doesn't have to worry about anything. We had our kitchen and utility room upgraded on the same footprint as the old ones, and the project took 3 weeks. My husband and I were delighted with the final result and the fact that upheaval was kept to a minimum (eg the washing machine remained plumbed in so we could use it). It was really good value for money - good project management, good fittings and quality finish. We would definitely use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Kalibre renovated a shower / utility room to a very high standard. They stripped out the room, removing tiles and a previous cupboard. In so doing they revealed that some of the previous electrical work was substandard, and that the walls and ceiling were poorly finished. The room now has a replastered ceiling, a new floor, floor to ceiling tiles, a new smaller utilities cupboard, a new shower and cubicle with non-slip flooring and fluted privacy glass, new washbasin and cupboard, new radiator, vanity unit, extractor fan, toilet and lighting. All the people who worked on the project were very skilled, professional and a pleasure to meet. From the start Jo was keen that the project should meet our particular requirements and always had a range of options to discuss. She is approachable, helpful and super-efficient. Suppliers and tradespeople recognise and emulate her high standards. Minor setbacks were quickly dealt with, and nothing was too much trouble. The schedule was followed as written and extra works required were carefully explained and quickly carried out. Communications were prompt and to the point: they are good at keeping in touch. Kalibre’s aftercare is excellent.

We contacted Kalibre Kitchens to get a quote for our kitchen & utility room after we had some building work carried out. Clive designed a great plan for our new layout. We were given a timetable, so we were aware of what work would be carried out each week. Clive & his team showed up on time, were friendly, and did a great job. It looks amazing, and the price was reasonable for the great quality kitchen we now have. I love it! Would highly recommend them and would definitely use again.

We are delighted with our recent ensuite bathroom refit. The old bathroom was very tired and in need of updating. It now looks very modern and stylish. Lots of people have commented at how the new design and fittings make the bathroom look much bigger, even though the floor space hasn't been extended. The whole team are all friendly and professional. We have used Kalibre on a number of bathroom and kitchen projects over the years and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

First class service. When Clive gave me a day by day itinerary at the beginning of the job I was sceptical it could be kept to. Every day went to plan and we are delighted with the finished product. All the various installers were courteous, tidy and experienced. Clive was excellent with the communication and developed exactly the design we wanted. We would highly recommend.

From start to finish, Jo managed the project in a very professional and friendly manner. All our requirements were taken into account and I am so happy with the end results. Clive and his team, James, Warren, Steve, Richard, Jake, Dave and Paul, transformed our kitchen from an old, dark and cluttered room to a bright, modern and uncluttered one and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. We cannot fault it and I am writing this four months after completion. We down-selected three potential installers and each produced a design and a quote. Clive's design won our vote and his quote was very reasonable. After further discussions, a revised quote was provided, which we accepted. Apart from one extra item, which we requested during installation, the quote was spot-on. Prior to the start of installation, we were given a detailed programme of the daily work to be performed and the scheduled work was completed each day with early starts and late finishes, if required. Every member of the team was polite and tidy. Indeed, the whole team was made up of true craftsmen, who took great pride in their work; both individually and as a group. Not only that, they all had a great sense of humour and we thank them for a truly outstanding installation. Clive would appear daily to check on progress and to confirm that we were content. We highly recommend Jo, Kalibre and the team. Putting in a new bathroom is not a cheap thing to do so you want to get it right. In the early stages Jo was really helpful in using her experience and design ideas to get the 'perfect' plan. They started on the day they said they would start - and finished on the day they promised, too. The four guys that came to execute the plan, Jon, Steve, Stuart and Vince, were fantastic - lovely people and superb at their job. We're very fussy and cannot find fault at all. Overall a superb experience.
