KD Thorpe Electrical Contractors limited is a family run Lighting and Electrical contractors with over 36 years’ experience supplying and fitting lighting and electrical products to customers in BARNET, MUSWELL HILL, CROUCH END, FINCHLEY, MILL HILL & North/Central London. We supply and Fit everything from the smallest candle lamp to large chandeliers.
-Our Electricians are dedicated to completing your project (large or small) with quality results, on time and on budget. For small additions like external lighting or are building a brand-new house, we are in a position to help.
We can make your visions a reality. We also hold close contacts with Lighting & electrical wholesalers so if you are looking to replace existing lighting & accessories we are in a good position to negotiate very competitive prices.

The director Mr Thorpe is approachable, accommodating and cooperative. His electricians Brian and Tony are knowledgeable and got on with the tasks of installing cables, sockets and lights quickly and efficiently. Their work is neat and tidy. What they have installed all looks like the product of good quality workmanship.

Have used them 3 times, always on time, helpful and courteous. On last occasion they fitted external security lights which did no work well, they came to replace them twice, finally with a different make. Always pleasant and work reliable.

I called in the afternoon and they sent Tony out the next morning, who did the job with no problems (new thermostat for towel rail). They texted me to say what time he would be there, with a followup call to say he was held up in traffic but was on his way. They were friendly, experienced, a pleasure to deal with--even if pricey: £75 for callout, including an hour's work.

Kevin and his team were very helpful, efficient and did a great job. Our entire 2 bed flat needed a re-wire and new fuseboard etc. They completed this in 2 weeks, were very considerate and didn’t create needless damage in what was a very tricky and potentially messy job. Highly recommended.

Tony was polite and quick. He worked well even with being watched by myself and having to work around an elderly, partially deaf Mother-In-Law and two curious young cats. The work was neat and was cleaned up after completion. Now my Mother-In-Law has a socket for a lamp, the hall can be used for a stair cleaning vacuum and the porch too!

We have used Kevin a number of times. He and his staff are competent and capable electricians. We recently asked him to replace a bathroom heater; because it took some time to track down the replacement the bill was expensive, but in my opinion was justified because his colleague had to find the right unit for us. We will certainly go to Kevin for future electrical work.
