We have used Kevin a number of times. He and his staff are competent and capable electricians. We recently asked him to replace a bathroom heater; because it took some time to track down the replacement the bill was expensive, but in my opinion was justified because his colleague had to find the right unit for us. We will certainly go to Kevin for future electrical work.

A good firm to know. I wanted my oven, which was delivered on a Saturday, to be installed as quickly as possible. I e-mailed the firm on the Wednesday before the delivery date and an experienced electrician installed my oven for me first thing, the following Monday morning. The cost was their call-out charge plus the price of the necessary cable. If I had any electrical work to do in the future, I would certainly use this firm again.

Two mains sockets needed replacing. Phoned on Monday, Tony came next day, put new sockets in place and also replaced a faulty PIR outside light. All done quickly and well for a fair price.

I used kevin to do some fault finding and fit a new fuse board. Kevin and his team are very knowledgable and freindly. They even make good the holes they make when installing. I cant fault them and they are very reasonably priced. I will be using them again in the futre

I have used KD Thorpe on previous occasions as they offer a prompt and reliable service. I was letting a property on a Saturday, but discovered to my horror on the Thursday evening that the main RCB switch kept tripping. I texted Kevin more in hope than anything else late on Thursday evening. However I received a call from Kevin within minutes, and he arranged for two of his electricians to visit the property the following morning at 9am. They arrived promptly (early in fact !), and with admirable focus identified the fault within a short space of time. This was a burnt out wire (due to heat from a light), and they promptly fixed this. Problem solved. KD Thorpe offer a reliable, trustworthy, professional service which I would not hesitate to use again.

Another brilliant find from Which? local. Got in a mess with some rewiring, rang for help, replied in 30 minutes and electrician here to fix it 30 minutes later for a call out charge of ÔøΩ65. All now safely wired in (in a bathroom too!). Superb and very happy. Will cerrtainly use again as/when necessary.

We engaged Kevin to install ceiling lighting in most of our house, add power outlets and move some existing ones, and perform an electrical certification on the property. Throughout the process Kevin ensured that we were given regular updates on progress, he kept us informed if he discovered any problems, and made sure to confirm any instructions where there was potential for misunderstanding. As a result, we had utmost confidence that he was acting in accordance with our wishes - he ensured he had verbal sign-off on everything before proceeding. There were several hitches (a result of previous electrical work done on the property) that Kevin did his best to explain to me, showing great patience with my lack of technical understanding and talking me through (and showing me evidence of the problem) until I was satisfied I understood what was required. Overall he was the consummate professional; I would have no hesitation in using him again.

Brilliant electricians! Tony arrived on time and sorted all our electrical issues in no time (including testing sockets to ensure they are safe, replacing sockets, fixing loose wiring). Highly recommended. We will be using them for any electrical issues in the future.

KEVIN SAVED MY BACON TONIGHT. Desperately needed an electrician to resolve all sockets not working. Cant live without internet, so this became an emergency. Couldnt find an engineer to come out tonight. Kevin himself couldnt come out but on the phone he worked me through the cause of the problem by eliminating the faulty appliance which was responsible for tripping the RCD in the fuse box. Wallah ! ( Naughty kettle). Problem solved, no call out charge, no fee. Great online service. Helpful man. And thank you kevin.

Very Highly recommended. I got a prompt estimate subsequent to which Kevin and his partner came and did the required work with care and courtesy. It was a tricky job yet they worked really hard to do it well. I am sure others would have given up. This is a good company.

Called Kevin on Thursday afternoon to change a light fitting for an elderly relative. He visited the following day and did the job immediately at a very reasonable price. Courteous, friendly and took the time to call me back to check on everything before he proceeded. Would definitely recommend.

I needed an electrician to fix the ceiling light in my bathroom. Spoke with Kevin on Friday and arranged for him to come round first thing on Monday. Impressed that Kevin was punctual, early in fact. Fixed the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. Kevin was pleasant and professional and I would definitely recommend him to others and KD Thorpe would be my first call if I need further electrical work doing.

Kevin and his team tick all the boxes. Turn up on time, fast quote, good value, quick turnaround, friendly, professional, tidy and Daniel even made ME a cup of tea! We have used Kevin twice now and have also called him at 6pm on a Saturday night and he happily gave us advice and even called us back to see if we were ok. I would definitely use them again.
