Kevin and his team are simply the best who've done work for us in the 30 years we've been in this house. They've just done a complete refurbishment of our hall and landing and at our first meeting Kevin made helpful, practical, economic suggestions. Unlike a lot of building bosses who do the initial quote never to be seen again, Kevin works with his team every day and once the job is started they work until it's finished ??" on time and on budget. We were really impressed with the level of preparation and the quality of the finished work and most certainly want to use Kevin and his team again in future.

Kevin and his team have done a great job in painting the exterior of our house. This also involved removal of loose paint and render, and repairing render where needed. Their attention to detail was excellent, making sure all aspects of the job were completed to the highest standard. Kevin and his team were both polite and respectful at all times, arriving early each morning and leaving the area tidy at the end of the day. We have been so impressed with his standard of work, we have asked him to quote for further work replacing the paving in the front garden. I would not hesitate in recommending Kevin to our friends and family, and would most certainly use him again in the future.

We've just used Kevin to create a new downstairs shower room in what was just a utility area and the results are very impressive, with good attention to detail and care in every stage of the rebuilding work. Kevin stuck to budget although he had thrown in a number of extra items like an external plug socket and some wall lights. He is very generous with his time and advice and is a pleasure to have around. We look forward - if one ever looks forward to having builders in the house - to having Kevin refit a bathroom in October.

This is about the 5th time we have used Kevin for work in the home. It has included quite major work such as complete refitting of bathrooms, shower room and utility area, and most recently Kevin has lowered a ceiling and installed downlighting. All work is of high standard and plastering and tiling are particularly worth mentioning. Kevin is highly reliable and professional.

After doing an excellent job on our kitchen, we asked Kevin to renovate our bathroom as well. He managed to fit this in around our holiday & it was lovely to come home to a newly refurbished bathroom.

Kevin fitted a new kitchen for us and did an excellent job, he took time and care and paid excellent attention to detail, we were so happy with the work that we have asked him to carry out the work on our bathroom.

Kevin gave considerable time to help develop plans to reconfigure and refurbish kitchen/dining and living room space, giving advice and options along the way. Kevin carries out all work himself with a small regular team, with all work completed on schedule and to a high standard. He is reliable and turstworthy. We are using Kevin again to carry out some further work.

Kevin Cronin and his business partner are personally very competent in a broad range of professional trades but not averse to calling in other skills as required. Beacaues of their skill strenghths their core business tends to be centred on building new, and refurbishing bathrooms and kitchens. However they are prepared to quote for a wide range of work large or small and can be relied upon to carry out the work that they undertake in a timely, competent and customer friendly way. We hired Kevin to redo our bathroom and he and his colleague did excellent work. From our first meeting and quote until the last tile they were always professional, extremely friendly and helpful (trying to keep noise down while the baby was sleeping) and gave us great advice on little things like grout colours etc. Everything was done on time and budget and we will definitely hire them again for our next job.

I had a penetrating damp problem in the bath room which I had a surveyor inspect and provide recommendations of the work required. I also needed the bath room completely renovated. Blue Ribbon Construction took on the work, which consisted of:- Removing the rendering from the external wall and re-rendering , removing Masonry paint from the other wall.Repaint with specialist masonry plant on both walls. Lower the para pit wall on the roof replace the coping stones. Remove the plaster from internal walls and re plaster. All this work done to the surveyors specification. Put in a complete new bathroom suite including putting in shower Putting in a new floor and ceiling. The work was done on time but with out short cuts. They worked monday to Friday all day and as required at weekends if I was agreeable. They worked hard and did a very good job. I spotted a couple of minor problems and they came back promptly to rectify. I have no hesitation in recommending them and propose to use them again in the Spring.

We have used Kevin and his co-workers multiple times in the past and they never fall below our high standards. He recently converted our old kitchen and dinning room in to a lovely kitchen diner which we were overly please about. In the past we have used him for bathrooms, painting, decorating and plastering, landscaping and just for general advice on any building work we required- Kevin is always happy to advise. Would defiantly use him again and would also highly recommend him.

I notice Blue Ribbon have lots of positive reviews under the builders and bathrooms/kitchens section but we used them for exterior decorating of three adjacent properties. They weren't cheap but they were definitely value for money as their work was thorough, properly prepared and painstakingly finished. Kevin also did a small internal repair and paint job for me while he was there and wouldn't charge for it. They are also very nice people.

I cannot recommend Kevin and his colleagues at Blue Ribbon enough; they are simply outstanding. Kevin has done numerous handyworks around my flat in Twickenham all to an exceptional standard and a competitive rate. The largest project he has done for me to date was the replacement of my kitchen; not a simple job as it was an awkward space requiring a raised floor and significant remediation of the walls. The result is stunning; first class finish and functional, making the most of the space. Quality and value aside, The reason I rate Kevin so highly is because of his integral, honest and personable nature. British Gas had given us a quote for £850 to Power Flush the system but we were not convinced. Blue Ribbon advised us that we did not need a Power Flush.They suggested we call British Gas and explain to them that we had had second opinion and the power flush was not necessary. All it needed was to recharge the pressure vessel. British Gas visited and agreed that recharging had indeed made a difference. The central heating is in working order now. Thanks a million to Blue Ribbon. Highly recommended.

We used Kevin and his team based on previous reviews on this website and weren't disappointed. Kevin's quote was reasonable, the standard of work was first class and it was completed on time. We had a kitchen re-fit done for a rental property and Kevin came up with lots of value for money ideas - he understood our requirements and didn't try to up-sell us at any point. It was also a huge help that Kevin had a good working relationship with Benchmarx, who provided the Kitchen. We've had headaches before with builders who weren't familiar with what was being installed, so it was great that this wasn't an issue at all this time around. We have used Kevin (Blue Ribbon Construction) and his team for various jobs in our house in the last couple of months. In the last 2 years we have had bad experiences with tradesmen and builders and were looking for a trustworthy builder who delivers excellent work and we have definitely found this in Kevin. The standard of the work is excellent, they always show up agreed time, deliver within budget/agreed time and they are very flexible. We have found that we get pro-active advice and the best price/value solution for any piece of work from Kevin. I was recommended Blue Ribbon back in 2007 and have not looked back since. Kevin and his team have remodelled my entire house plastering/internal doors/wet room/rear extension and new kitchen. Not much left of the original house but its been fun working with Kevin and his team. We havenÍt finished yet Kevin and his team are about to start on building my new garage and landscaping my rear garden. Kevin and his team turn up on time and are totally reliable. Its refreshing to find a builder that does what you want and to a high standard.

Kevin came to our property and assessed the work, made useful recommendations where required and within a few days provided us with a written quote for the work. A start date was agreed. We have used Kevin several times since 2009. He has undertaken some reasonably major projects including stripping out and refitting of bathroom, shower room, toilet and kitchen. Kevin always undertakes the work himself, assisted as necessary by one or two regular helpers (there is no casual labour). It is a highly professional and friendly team, and they clean up on a daily basis. The standard of plumbing, tiling, plastering, cupboard fitting and electrical work is high.

Kevin was efficent and easy to deal with when making the arrangements for our work. He and his electrician gave good advice and worked hard to get the job done and without fuss. Very professional and highly recommended - we are going to use him again.

Blue Ribbon have built a workshop for me at the bottom of the garden. This is the start of a series of projects to convert the garage (workshop) into a utility room and toilet, and update the bathroom and kitchen. Kevin has been involved from the start and has provided good, money saving advice enabling us to rely on his honesty and judgment. He and his workers are prompt, efficient, friendly and tidy up before leaving each day. We got estimates from other builders for the remaining work, but have chosen to continue with Blue Ribbon throughout the whole project.

Kevin Cronin [ Blue Ribbon ] is that rare thing - highly organized, painstaking, reliable and professional. He has done 3 seperate projects for us: turning two old rooms into one new bedroom and completely refurbishing and modernising both a shower room and a family bathroom. In all cases he has handled all aspects of construction -electrics,plumbing,plastering, tiling etc. He has completed everything within budget and timetable, with proper concern for our needs as clients.
