I thoroughly recommend HML Windows and Doors. Great service! Very professional and faultless install. Left the worksite clean and tidy. This composite door is much better than the previous composite door we had. More robust. HML will be my first call for future work we're planning.

HML originally installed our front door in 2022. The work was carried out to an excellent standard. Fast forward to June 2025, when we experienced a spontaneous glass fracture from what we firmly believe to be a manufacturing fault since there was no impact whatsoever. The customer service we experienced from the manufacturer was very poor - they were not interested in the slightest, even though their guarantee stated that “all glazed units…will remain intact for a period of 10 years” and “glass is locked into your door for life, for added security!” Even though the fault was in no way related to the original installation by HML, Kevin personally interceded and managed to secure a replacement door slab on our behalf. Arrangements were then made for the replacement installation to be completed this morning - only a matter of weeks from the original breakage. We are incredibly grateful to Kevin for his patience, understanding, and professionalism throughout this process - a clear illustration of the honourable reputation HML has earned.

I can’t recommend the firm enough, great service from the first email. The day of fitting was painless, and everything was tidied up and cleaned. Love the end result!

We contacted HML windows to get 9 new windows fitted in our recently purchased bungalow in Edinburgh. We searched thoroughly and ranked 9 suppliers based on a range of criteria including which and trusted trader scores, price from quotes and customer feedback as well as guarantees and product look. HML came out on top during our supplier search and they did not disappoint. Kevin and Leigh were super responsive and provided objective advice and a really competitive quote. No deposit was required and the guys finished the whole house in 2 days which was way faster than we expected. Would absolutely recommend these guys, don’t bother going anywhere else.

HML have just installed a full house of windows (including patio door) and a Rockdoor front door for us. Could not be happier with the results. Professional and efficient service from start to finish. These guys do exactly what they promise at the time they promise. The showroom is great to get a good idea of what you want and staff there are really helpful (no hard selling). Fitting teams are excellent and the workmanship is faultless, they left our house cleaner than they found it! Delighted with the quality of the windows, doors and the fit and finish. Very highly recommended.

I used HML windows for three new windows that were badly needed for my flat. This was my first time getting work done by contractors I didn't personally know and as I haven't been in my flat long, admittedly it was a bit daunting trusting the work to other people. Kev is a pleasant and professional guy and had my windows ready not long after he came over for the measurements. The two guys who fitted the windows were also great and I'm absolutely delighted with the work they've done. Will recommend them immediately to anyone looking for good work at a fair price. Also worth noting this work was years in planning (for my own reasons) and they were brilliant every time I emailed them. Thanks guys! 👍🏼

Have used HML Windows and Doors Ltd in the past when getting a picture window fitted so didn't hesitate to contact them again when I was looking to replace my old pvc door with a new Rock door and canopy. Fantastic service Kevin and his team were very professional and courteous from start to finish.

I went into the showroom a couple of times before deciding on new front and back rockdoors. The member of staff I spoke to was really helpful, offering advice and straight forward pricing structure. No pressure sales just good service. Measuring up and fitting of doors was done at my convenience. All staff professional and quality of workmanship could not be faulted. My daughter and I recently engaged the services of HML Windows and Doors to fit 4 new double glazed windows to her flat. The service provided by Kevin and his company were second to none. The company came highly recommened by 2 friends who had utilsed their installation services previously. We visited the showroom and without hesitation ordered the new windows. Kevin attended shortly thereafter to measure up and within a further short period of time the installation date was set. The team that attended consisted of Danny, Del and Logan, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. These guys were a pleasure to meet, and I have not experienced such professionalism from people/company in a long, long time. They set about working immediately and did not stop until the job was finished. They worked as a well oiled team and the quality of workmanship and skills on display were without doubt awe inspiring. They tided up as they went, and Logan put the finishing icing on the cake with clearing stuff up and making sure there wasn't even a spot of anything left on the common close carpet. When they left the flat was immaculate, and honestly apart from the beautiful windows they left you would not of believed they had been there. My daughter and myself can highly recommend using this company. You will not be disappointed !

We had a new front and back door fitted today, from the moment we reached out with our initial enquiry the team at HML could not have been more friendly and helpful. We visited the show room which was very useful as it gave us ideas and confirmed what we wanted. The doors were fitted within the timelines agreed and based on other quotes the cost was very competitive. The fitters were great came when they said they would, the work was done quickly and efficiently and to a high standard and they tidied and cleaned up after the work was done. The fitters explained everything about the new doors locks etc, and both the fitter and HML team told us just to keep I touch with them if we needed anything. Overall we are very happy with our doors and the service.

Just had all windows and doors replaced and new cladding done by HML today, the guys done a brilliant job and tidied up really well and were very friendly and helpful, Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful, professional company from start to finish.

I had 2 windows replaced today 24th July, very quick and professional. Tidied up afterwards and got the job done to expectations. I would definitely recommend HML windows as did not have long to wait after windows where measured up, good price and got the job done very fast.

Cannot rate HML windows and doors enough, from the moment we asked for a quote until completion of the installation of all windows and both doors the service of Kevin and his team has been outstanding. The finishing has been outstanding with no need to re decorate or purchase new blinds. Arrived when stated, straight to work and finished within the timelines stated. All team members treated my home with the greatest of respect and left no mess inside or out, absolutely amazing! Kevin & the HML team were fab from start to finish, from the initial visit/our visit to the showroom. On our scheduled date the fitters came as arranged and never stopped, they were pleasant and cleaned up as they went along, no decoration needed to be done whatsoever and that was after we had 7 windows (one being a Bay window) & 2 doors fitted, we are absolutely delighted with them and we have had so many compliments on the work we have had done. So glad we went with HML Windows & Doors and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kevin & his team.

Before going for HML windows I obtained several quotes to replace my very old UPVC windows and get a new front door. I found Kevin to be very straightforward and clear as to what HML Windows would do. He was also a bit cheaper than the other quotes. Kevin came out and measured up and explained the process, answering any questions we had. I explained I had to go thorough planning as I live in a conservation area. This was no problem. The team that came and fitted the windows and door over three days were very professional. I'm in a first floor flat and worried how they would manage to remove such big windows, but I needn't have. They took them out without any damage to walls or paintwork and replaced them with the new windows. They cleaned up and left no mess. A very professional job from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend HML windows to my friends or family.

Spoke to Kevin three weeks ago, came out promptly to measure and finalise the model of door I picked. Gave some good advice and we tweaked our design accordingly. Day of fitting, Mark and Chris were lovely guys and very professional. Could tell right away that they cared about the quality of the job. First class job and nice people to deal with.

Kevin gave us a quote on spot and returned to do final measurements when stated, price was competitive. We planned install on specific date due to my time off work and a team were there as planned, a two day job was specified and with two teams on the job on day two they managed it... a lot of work, 9 windows, upvc door, composite front door and french doors. The guys didn't even take tea breaks, constantly working even with some poor weather on second day. Team cleared up after themselves each day, not much needed by us at all. All the trimming was neat, excellent finish, and no damage to any tiles or decor. Everything explained on using the new Rockdoor and rear doors. Job exceeded expectations and even though it was just completed today I can feel a big difference to warmth in our house. Would recommend HML anytime and think the Rehau windows look to have been installed very well. A professional job.
