We employed Key Choice Builders to give a much needed facelift to out 1960's house with dorma. Old wood and tiles, were replaced with modern,low maintenance fibre cement cladding. We choose Key Choice Builders having seen their previous work on a neighbouring house and were not disappointed. Gareth managed the job well and delivered and excellent quality of work to budget. The work also involved replacing a felted ledge with glass fibre and installing new guttering.

We used Gareth and his team to remove a load‑bearing internal wall and to fit our new kitchen and utility room. They also handled the plastering, tiling, electrics, plumbing, and even took on a few extra jobs for us — raising the mantle on our fireplace and relocating our boiler. The whole team were good fun to have around and did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were incredibly thorough, and every part of the work was completed to an impeccable standard. We’re absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We used Key Choice to renovate our house in Woodley, including a new roof, new rear extension, new kitchen, new windows, new bathrooms and a complete re-plaster and decoration. It’s always a risk giving a company the approval to start a project. You can read reviews and you can see examples of previous work, but you just never know what might crop up. I am delighted with the end product that Keychoice has built for me (a new build external garage/workshop). Bang on budget, every trade was meticulous about their work, and all were pleasant to have around. Yes, there were a few supply chain issues and a bit of a delay here and there, but Gareth kept me informed and tried to minimise the time lost. Would I use them again? yes, absolutely, in fact, I have already asked them to quote on another internal job.

Gareth and his team has delivered excellent work for the renovation of our kitchen. Collaboration started with a very good discussion, where Gareth explored and understood very well our needs and limitations. Work was well defined, as well as the related costs and timeline. Quote was competitive to other quotes we have received and it was also very clear and transparent. Work started, processed and completed according to what we have agreed; most importantly, Gareth was always available to discuss any problems and provide suitable solutions. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Gareth and his team have done for us. This was our first major renovation project - a ground floor extension and part garage conversion, which included the demolition of an old conservatory and piling foundations. From start to finish, Gareth and his team were supportive, responsive and always professional. The project also had the added complication of a Protected Oak Tree in the near vicinity, but Gareth and his team ensured that the site set up and building work met all constraints set by the council/tree specialists. Queries and requests were responded to very quickly. The quality of work was high and although there was some snagging, Gareth’s team resolved everything in a timely manner. It always felt like we were in good hands and we never had any cause for concern. We would recommend Gareth and his team to anyone and we would definitely use Key Choice again.

Experience with builders vary greatly and often issues crop up with price, timing and quality. I can say that there were no such issues with Gareth and his team. Gareth was very clear in what he would deliver. He communicated regularly and made himself available whenever we needed to discuss something.
