Gareth came highly recommended by our architect and he has not failed to deliver. He has a team of skilled builders and craftsmen. We had quite a large extension and an overhaul of the entire house. We were quite nervous about the project but Gareth managed it very well. He managed the whole build and renovation project, no job was too small for him. Throughout the project, he kept us informed and delivered on budget. We lived through the build and he never left us without hot water, a washing machine or cooking facilities. His team and contractors are all professional and friendly. We are extremely pleased with the work that has been completed, it is to a very high standard with a great finish. We have received many compliments about our house and we are really enjoying living in it.

We are delighted with the extension work that Gareth and the team completed on our home. Gareth and the team completed a ground floor extension to the rear of our house and an extension above the garage and decorating/refurbishment throughout the rest of the house. All the work was completed to a really high standard and to budget, which was no mean feat considering the increase in cost of materials during the pandemic. We had not carried out any building work before and were a little anxious about the project, but we really appreciated the excellent communication from Gareth about the progress of the project and resolving any issues. Gareth would provide regular updates on site and responds to messages very quickly, which was greatly appreciated. The whole team are very easy to get along with and always willing to have a chat and explain what was going on, which makes a big difference when work is going on for several months. We have received many compliments from friends and family about the work done and we have already recommended Key Choice Builders to some of our friends and would not hesitate recommending Gareth and the team to anyone considering similar work.

If you are expecting Shoddy workmanship, poor execution, timely delays, poor communication and going over budget you will be highly surprised not to receive this service from Gareth and his team. I can honestly say I was not looking forward to my single story extension and open plan Kitchen, diner, living space going ahead, but this team delivered exceptional service, great communication and delivered on plan. Every single tradesman was polite, friendly, clean and tidy and never refused a cuppa or a bacon sandwich. The level of professional service and outcome is second to none. I absolutely love it. Gareth and his team built a neighbour's extension and following their recommendation we got a quote for our building work. Gareth has a can-do attitude and ensures customers are kept informed. He visited the site regularly and did his best to organise the different trades and keep things moving. Not an easy task as they had a number of jobs in progress and at times he seemed overstretched, but still kept smiling. Most of the team work directly for him but the groundworks, electricial and plumbing work were carried out by subcontractors. Everyone was friendly and approachable and the work was carried out to a good standard. The job came in on budget and we are happy with the result.

Gareth and his lads came highly recommended by several friends/neighbours. We got 3 quotes for a new 2 storey extension including new bathroom, and Gareth's quote was roughly in line with the other two. We were not disappointed. I've never seen an extension go up so quickly. During the groundworks and bricking phase, there were always 4/5/6 lads on site. Gareth was around every day checking everything over. Of course there are always snagging issues, but that's where Gareth really shines because he gets them resolved, even after they've left site. I know I can phone him up even now and he will resolve any issues. In summary the work was started early, the quote cost was more or less kept to (even during the massive price hikes for building materials), the work was finished on time, and the quality is top notch. Gareth and his lads are also nice guys which makes things easier all round. I highly recommend Gareth for any building works.

Several years after a great job doing a garage conversion I again used Key Choice to complete some works on a house I took on with a partially completed extension. Gareth straight away provided great advice on how to approach the project. He is open and honest, does not over promise and created a high level of confidence that he would deliver. I was not disappointed. Gareth has an outstanding team who all take a great deal of pride in their work. Everyone that came on site was friendly, professional and produced work of the highest quality. They were always considerate of us having to live in the property during the works. They kept us informed on progress and communicated on all matters as needed. At the end of each day on site everything was as clean and tidy as you could realistically hope for and always exceeded my expectations. After moving into what was basically a building site, our home is now exactly as we envisaged it. Key Choice did an outstanding job and I would not hesitate on recommending them to anyone.

Gareth and his team did a fantastic job fully renovating our 240 year old Georgian house. From start to finish they were very professional with great communication throughout the process. When there were the inevitable unforeseen issues Gareth was very positive and came up with excellent solutions which made the whole experience stress free. The quality of the work is excellent and his team were always polite and very tidy. We would certainly recommend Key Choice as they really care for their customers.

We required work to be done to our porch, strengthening it, attaching it to the house, plastering and the removal of an air-brick and infilling the gap. The work started on time and was completed within the forecast period. The quality of work was to the highest standard and the site was left clean and tidy. I would strongly recommend them for work. The people who carried out the work were professional and efficient. Very satisfied with all that was done.

We have never undertaken any building work before but after using Key Choice Builders I would definitely do it again! We are really pleased our extension looks amazing. We chose Key Choice as they gave us one of the most reasonable quotes but also because they were always quick to get back to me - which was also the case once we had decided to go ahead and throughout the project. This was really important to me as there is nothing worse than waiting for someone to get back to you with a quote, or once you are doing the work with any queries. His team were great to have around, polite and my kids loved watching them do the various work. I would also recommend them because they all work as a team, so you aren't waiting for other subcontractors' time scales, which could cause delays, which I have seen friends have happen when using other builders. If we ever do any more work on our house we would definitely be asking them to quote again.

My husband and I have received nothing but excellent service from the company on two occasions. We had quotations and invoicing etc. well and accurate presented .The quotations were itemized and they remained within the budget without exception. Their own workforce and subcontractors are very good workmen who produced excellent results while being courteous and considerate. They are reliable and trustworthy ,completing the job by leaving the site clean and tidy. All jobs are well organized and supervised by Gareth on a regular basis keeping you fully informed. He is extremely helpful and accommodating with a pleasant manner which implants confidence that the job will be well accomplished. We would highly recommend this company.
