Gareth and the team did a great job on our kitchen extension and general renovation of the downstairs of our house. The quality of the work was first class. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Gareth, and he was always willing and able to solve any problems as they came up.

Our ground floor extension, about 30sqm in floor area and some forty years old, had developed a large crack on the inside of one wall together with a crack on the brickwork outside above a window on the same wall. We feared subsidence but that was dismissed by our insurers. We settled on Key Choice to do the repairs. Gareth the boss was a real pleasure to work with. His communication was excellent, we were kept informed at every stage of the work and everything was explained clearly. Any voicemails from us were answered quickly. He and his team were highly skilled and friendly to have around. After completing the structural repairs the four walls and ceiling were plastered to a very high standard. All the work was done to schedule at every stage and to quoted price. Also a very tidy set of guys! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

We were nervous about undertaking our project - an extension, a garage conversion, the reworking of the downstairs layout together with a new kitchen/dinner and utility room. Gareth Cox was the only builder we spoke to that we felt 'got' what we were looking to achieve and understood our anxiety in undertaking the work. Week one, we hit an problem (No fault of Key Choice) with Building Control wanting piled rather than slab foundations - whilst it was stressful at the time, we felt vindicated in choosing Key Choice Builders as Gareth tore his hair out making things happen to avoid the build from stalling. Gareth touched based with us through out the build, at the outset it was pretty much every day but ultimately several times a week keeping us informed of the progress, what the next steps where or to let us know when decisions were coming up. As well as discussing additional pieces of work that we wanted. His crew where a good crowd, we were comfortable with having them about the house - They cleaned up after themselves and if asked they would discuss what it was they were doing but also offered advice and opinions where appropriate. No-one more so than Dave (Gareths No.2 & carpenter) as we finalised the kitchen. We would happily recommend Key Choice Builders. Gareth and his team delivered exactly as he said they would whilst at the same time being helpful, friendly, flexible and considerate.

Never had any building work done before so I was anxious as to how Key Choice would be. I need not have worried at all. Everyday of the build at least one trade was here working. Gareth Cox (owner) contacted me daily to give me updates and check on satisfaction. Dave (2nd in command) is nothing short of fabulous!!! Fantastic ideas (challenging mine and rightly so given his years of experience) and brilliant at all the finishing touches. The team are really really friendly and very trust worthy and competent at what they do. The expected finishing timescale was 2 weeks shorter and I couldn’t be happier... the time sped past in a flash and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic job by true professionals. Now? What can I get them to do next?

I had an extension built to create a kitchen/dining area, a new kitchen fitted and part of the Garage converted into a utility room. Gareth and his team completed the work to a very high standard and I am very grateful for the help and advice they gave me. They are coming back shortly to clear the garden and lay slabs and a lawn. We had an extension and internal wall knocked down to make one large kitchen dining and snug area. It was the first time we had done anything like this. Gareth, the boss, was always helpful, reassuring and answered any questions we had in a way that we laymen could understand. The work was done within the agreed time schedule and to budget. The quotation for the work was one of the lowest that we received. They were clean tidy and very friendly workers. Offered useful advise as the job went along. No hesitation in recommending them. Gareth and his team have completed two projects for us; a kitchen/extension project and a hallway/bathroom project and both experiences have been of a very high standard. They took time and care to make sure we were getting what we wanted as well as giving us other ideas along the way when we needed them. Gareth gave us an outline of time and cost expectations as well as letting us know of any unexpected extras as they occurred, so we always felt in control of what was happening, when it was happening and how much it would cost. All the other trades (plastering, carpentry, electrics, plumbing, tiling etc) were organised by Gareth as well and were of an equally high standard.

Gareth and his team helped us greatly with our home renovations. As part of this work they made two small bedrooms into one bigger bedroom. Their work was excellent and it's impossible to tell that the room was once two rooms. Gareth's team also did other building, plastering, plumbing and electrical work to an equally high standard. Gareth did a good job of coordinating his multi-discipline team to ensure that the work was completed quickly. I would strongly recommend Key Choice for similar work.

We were recommended Garth by a friend who had used him before. Right from the start his attitude is very impressive. He has a great team of workers who are both friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble for them. The work was completed in 11weeks and to a very high standard. We cannot praise them enough for their attitude throughout the whole project and have no fear of asking them to work for us again. Garth and his team are a friendly hard working and caring workforce. Nothing is too much trouble for them and everything is carried out quickly and safely. We had our kitchen refitted and an extra room opening out onto a patio at the rear of the house. The work was completed within his estimated time to a very high standard. I cannot praise him and his workforce enough for a great job well done and have no trouble recommending his company to anyone who wants a first class job from a first class team.
