The team have been amazing. It is rare, in my experience, for a building company to be truly focused on the customer - but Key Choice are. They want to deliver exactly what you want, they keep to their quotes, they keep you informed and they are great people to have working at your property every day. Nothing is too much trouble and they provide advice and watch out for your interests on all aspects of your job. Have we had issues during this project as supplies and product availability have been hit by the pandemic? Yes of course we have, like everyone, but their frequent communication, sticking to prices and coming up with smart alternatives have been evident throughout. I have personally recommended Key Choice to several friends and I had no hesitation in doing that. I would also have no hesitation in speaking to any prospective customers and showing you their work. Trust me - these people are the perfect choice.

I'm a bit late in posting this review. It's nearly a year since Gareth finished the project but I have to say we are completely thrilled with his work. From the first meeting with Gareth everything was explained clearly. He offered plenty of ideas of what we could do with the space available and type of materials we could use. His team were absolutely brilliant and did the most amazing job. And kept to budget. Gareth and his guys went the extra mile for us and we really couldn't be happier. Just wish he wasn't so busy as we would use him for everything! If you have any doubts about tradespeople or have bad experiences in the past, use KeyChoice, they will not disappoint you, they are quite simply the best.

From the first meeting with Gareth, to the finalisation of the work I have been delighted with Key Choice Builders Ltd. Gareth offered a great advice and vision for what we could achieve with the space we had. He kept us informed through out the project, explaining any variations or alterations. The team used to carry out the work were polite, clean and tidy. No pressure was put on us to use any particular Kitchen supplier, but we used Gareth's recommendation and we are more than happy with the outcome. The building work was quite extensive, with wonderful tri fold doors installed all this proved no problems to the team. The job stayed to schedule and was good value for what we had done.

We are absolutely delighted with our dormer extension over our garage, adding an extra two bedrooms. The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. Gareth, Dave and the rest of the team were friendly and kept us fully informed. They went above and beyond on many occasions, and tried to keep the job running as smoothly as possible, even in the height of lockdown when materials were in very short supply. I have no hesitation in recommending Key Choice Builders.

Gareth and his team did our ground floor extension, internal reconfiguration and kitchen/utility room refit, it's been a pleasure working with them. The quotes and payment schedule are clear and easy to understand and Gareth stays in touch regularly with updates against the plan and to discuss next steps etc... I genuinely cannot fault Gareth and his team, they do what they say they are going to do and they do it well! As with any build, we hit some snags along the way but they were resolved quickly and painlessly. In summary, we are over the moon with the result. You won't go wrong using Key Choice.

Gareth and the team did a great job on our kitchen extension and general renovation of the downstairs of our house. The quality of the work was first class. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Gareth, and he was always willing and able to solve any problems as they came up.

Our ground floor extension, about 30sqm in floor area and some forty years old, had developed a large crack on the inside of one wall together with a crack on the brickwork outside above a window on the same wall. We feared subsidence but that was dismissed by our insurers. We settled on Key Choice to do the repairs. Gareth the boss was a real pleasure to work with. His communication was excellent, we were kept informed at every stage of the work and everything was explained clearly. Any voicemails from us were answered quickly. He and his team were highly skilled and friendly to have around. After completing the structural repairs the four walls and ceiling were plastered to a very high standard. All the work was done to schedule at every stage and to quoted price. Also a very tidy set of guys! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

We were nervous about undertaking our project - an extension, a garage conversion, the reworking of the downstairs layout together with a new kitchen/dinner and utility room. Gareth Cox was the only builder we spoke to that we felt 'got' what we were looking to achieve and understood our anxiety in undertaking the work. Week one, we hit an problem (No fault of Key Choice) with Building Control wanting piled rather than slab foundations - whilst it was stressful at the time, we felt vindicated in choosing Key Choice Builders as Gareth tore his hair out making things happen to avoid the build from stalling. Gareth touched based with us through out the build, at the outset it was pretty much every day but ultimately several times a week keeping us informed of the progress, what the next steps where or to let us know when decisions were coming up. As well as discussing additional pieces of work that we wanted. His crew where a good crowd, we were comfortable with having them about the house - They cleaned up after themselves and if asked they would discuss what it was they were doing but also offered advice and opinions where appropriate. No-one more so than Dave (Gareths No.2 & carpenter) as we finalised the kitchen. We would happily recommend Key Choice Builders. Gareth and his team delivered exactly as he said they would whilst at the same time being helpful, friendly, flexible and considerate.

Never had any building work done before so I was anxious as to how Key Choice would be. I need not have worried at all. Everyday of the build at least one trade was here working. Gareth Cox (owner) contacted me daily to give me updates and check on satisfaction. Dave (2nd in command) is nothing short of fabulous!!! Fantastic ideas (challenging mine and rightly so given his years of experience) and brilliant at all the finishing touches. The team are really really friendly and very trust worthy and competent at what they do. The expected finishing timescale was 2 weeks shorter and I couldn’t be happier... the time sped past in a flash and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic job by true professionals. Now? What can I get them to do next?

I had an extension built to create a kitchen/dining area, a new kitchen fitted and part of the Garage converted into a utility room. Gareth and his team completed the work to a very high standard and I am very grateful for the help and advice they gave me. They are coming back shortly to clear the garden and lay slabs and a lawn.
