On entering the Company's showroom we were greeted in a very warm & friendly manner. We were given a brochure of products available, colours and features, e.g. 4 point locking. An appointment was made to attend at our property, discuss options & agree scope & costs of work. The "surveyor" attended on the agreed date and time and again was very helpful & professional taking us through the options and costs of the proposed work. A written quote was provided and accepted and the Company agreed to contact us to agree a fit date within 3 weeks. The Company contacted us within the 3 weeks timescale advised and a date for work to be undertaken was agreed. The installation team arrived on time and carried out the agreed work in a very professional manner and to a very high standard, leaving the property clean and tidy. The overall standard & appearance of the new installation was excellent and we are very pleased with the final finish and overall costs of the work which we considered provided excellent value for money.

It’s the second time I have had to use Kingswood doors for an emergency shutter repair. (Different shutters each time) Both occasions they have showed up promptly and repaired the faults. On one of the occasions I could not open the shutters for business . From the initial call to full repair and us being able to open and close the shutters properly was 3hours . Top service . After a disastrous experience with another company, we turned to Jamie and his Team at Kingswood Doors Ltd to complete the work the previous company had not completed in eight months. We have had a Horman Sectional door fitted with an electric motor. These doors are of very high quality and need professional installation. I needed to replace my 40 year old garage door & emailed Kingswood Doors for a quotation. I had an immediate friendly email back from Jamie, thanking me for my enquiry & offering to come to the house within 5 days. He came as promised, measured up & provided me with various options for replacement - no sales pressure - in fact suggesting the simplest option when I sought his advice. I was given a quote & left to think it over, but chose to accept the offer straight away. Within a week I was informed my door was ready with a suggested installation date the following week. 3 installers arrived as agreed & explained the process as they worked efficiently to install my new door, before checking with me that I was satisfied with the outcome. I just wanted to give a positive review of Kingswood doors Ltd in Bristol. My garage door was broken and unable to open correctly. I called Kingswood doors on Monday 24th Oct and they quickly arranged to visit the next day, was great to get that fast a service. They called me on the day to say they were on their way. The team that turned up were friendly and explained the issue to me and then repaired the door quickly and professionally for a reasonable price.

We received prompt attention to attend and give a quote. Having accepted the quote the fitting team arrived on time and fitted the doors promptly. We were given a demonstration of how to operate the doors and advice on opening and closing the doors including periodic lubrication. Payment on completion of the job. A neat and tidy job all round.

Kingswood Doors were very helpful, provided a quick on site estimate and explained the range available. Long lead time to delivery but this is due to muppets voting for Brexit not this company, i believe! Friendly efficient team who fitted the door and good e mail communications. I would definitely go back to them!

We had our doors supplied by a third party, whilst we had issues with sizing the fitting was down to Kingswood doors. Despite surveying our stone built property the ‘sealed’ (but not water tight) around the doors with a clear mastic that looked like it had been thumbed in by a three year old and smeared over the stonework. Doors packers have been left on view externally and internally. I have tried contacted Kingswood directly myself on several occasions to firstly get the water tight resolved which it still hasn’t and to get the silicon resolved. I finally got to speak with the owner who laughed at me regarding these issue. We have been left with doors that are not water tight and damage to our newly built stone extension.

One of the cables on garage door snapped. I tried to fix the issue myself but failed miserably and made the problem worse! Kingswood offered to come out the same day to rectify the issue so I didn't have any downtime without access of the garage. The technicians were polite and worked efficiently sorting out the problem in just over an hour. They explained to me what was wrong and how they had gone about fixing it. Will be sure to count on them again if I have any future issues. Thanks!

From the initial phone call right through to the installation of the garage door the service was fantastic. They kept me informed every step of the way and the fitters Luke and Jack were very tidy, efficient and helpful in explaining how to use the door and the safety features.

Immediate response to our enquiry about replacing garage door was prompt and positive. Information about the type of door we wanted was supplied and a site visit arranged quickly and carried out on time. All emails answered immediately and a detailed quote supplied promptly. Budget necessitated a change of plan on the type of door and this change was accommodated without fuss even though it necessitated a second site visit to check measurements for the different type of door. New quote was prompt and once accepted, the order for the door was placed quickly with the supplier. There was a delay in the supplier delivering the door to Kingswood (not Kingswood's fault!) but we were kept informed of progress/likely dates etc. Door fitted on date agreed though fitters were quite late arriving and didn't really explain why. Once here they worked quickly and cheerfully without a break until the job was done. We were shown how to operate the door. Overall, our experience with this company was very good particularly with regard to communications and helpfulness - all our queries were answered fully and quickly. We're not really able to assess the quality of the door itself yet but feel confident it will be OK. And we think the price was very fair too.

Having been let down by one firm, who failed to arrive as promised two consecutive days or keep in touch by phone, I contacted Kingswood; reception polite and business like. They appreciated that as an elderly couple we’d need our garage door mended promptly for security sake. Their engineer arrived exactly at the time specified, the next morning, fixed the old door and it works better than ever. Covid protocols observed and every consideration. An appropriate fee too. Well done. It was a small job but if you can feel a valued customer in those circumstances it’s a clear sign of a jolly good firm.

Great experience from start to finish. Prompt response from initial quote request, Jamie came out to assess and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Order was placed and fitting was completed within 4 weeks. Fitters arrived and door was installed within 2 hours and a very good job and also explained how everything worked. Would recommend.

The company responded quickly to my request for a site visit to consider options i.e. to repair or replace the old electric door. On deciding that a new door was required, a quote, detailed outline of the work to be carried out and a date for the installation provided promptly. The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and at the cost quoted. The installers carried out all aspects of the job - taking down the old door and putting in replacement quickly and efficiently and ensured that they left no mess. Before leaving they went through the door controls in detail to ensure that we fully understood how it worked.

We had our very old (about 30 years!) garage door replaced with an electric roller-shutter door by Kingswood Doors Ltd. What a huge difference this has made both to our experience in operating the garage door but also to the look of the front of our house. They dismantled and actually took away the old door, which was great, and installed the roller shutter in about 3 hours. The only slight delay was in getting the door delivered to them from the supplier but this was due to it not being a standard size and was only a couple of weeks. The whole thing took very little time and was done to an excellent standard, and was also very good value. All the staff involved were very helpful and Jamie even popped in when we had a small issue which was entirely our own "operator error" and he had it sorted very quickly. We would definitely recommend them.

I had a new garage door fitted last year whilst a tenant was in my flat. When I moved in the door was not working. Kingswood doors took a long time to come and found a cable had been cut. They replaced the cable at a cost of £96 (inc VAT). This seemed a bit pricey to me as it didn’t take long. However, everyone was friendly and efficient.

Kingswood did not supply the doors concerned but simply fitted those supplied by Arridge. After your mostly good reviews I expected a better standard of work and finished not very satisfied with the final result. I have paid for the work (although my cheque has not yet been presented) and made my view known to the company who have not responded. Arridge in contrast have shown great concern and have told me that Kingswood would carry out the remedial work that is practical. I feel I have lost confidence in this company and have declined the offer as I prefer now to make other arrangements.

I called Kingswood Garage Doors to repair my elderly mother’s garage door. They came out the same day and told my mother the door couldn’t be repaired and she would need a new door. She was sent a quote of £3600 for a new door. I called another company for a second opinion and quote, they repaired the door and serviced it for £90. Kingswood Garage Doors tried to take advantage of an elderly lady on her own, disgraceful!

I just needed the cable re-set on the pulley and booked them on Friday as they were local and their web site claimed that they were competitive. The earliest they could attend was on Monday and their engineer took all of 15 minutes to complete the job. Half of that time he could be heard on the phone. I was therefore taken a little aback to be presented with a bill of £75+VAT especially as there's no mention of a minimum call out charge either on their web site or when I phoned up. Not competitive either when you consider that there are a number of other companies who quote prices starting at £39+ VAT. It's not as if they dropped everything and came within an hour It was only when I phoned to query the amount was I told that they always charge a minimum hours labour irregardless of how long the job takes. I suggested that it would be more honest to state that condition verbally when customers book jobs but in the end I had to pay the full amount Needless to say I won't be using this company again

Easy to deal with, came out to inspect site and discuss requirements. Written quote provided, colour matched our exact requirement with RAL code, and then promptly agreed installation date. Work carried out very well, very polite crew, left site tidy and explained what had been done. At the top end of the quotes that I saw, but happy to pay because of the quality of the interactions and the service. Would recommend.
