We are disappointed with this review, which is in our opinion unsubstantiated. We would never take advantage of any customer, claiming so is simply not true. In our experience, during the process, the customer was aggressive, rude and obstructive, which is something we have never encountered during our 20 + years of trading. We attended a meeting with the customer and his father-in-law (whose first language is English). The customer claimed the worktop was not level, we proved that it was. This was agreed by all parties as the worktop had been installed level as per standard practice. Later in the process the customer then went back on his agreement and demanded that the worktop in one section be lowered by 1 inch, which we then did. After the kitchen was fitted, the customer bought a new oven, which did not fit, so we returned, modified the unit and fitted the new oven as a gesture of goodwill. The additional work was undertaken at our cost but unfortunately, none of this goodwill was reciprocated. We also offered the customer 3 solutions followed by 2 further proposals to conclude the dispute but unfortunately, none of these were accepted. As a Which Trusted Trader we are contractually bound to follow their guidelines for dispute resolution, which we have done to the letter and independent Alternative Dispute Resolution Service which was offered to the customer. We have done everything we can to close out this very challenging dispute. We would ask anyone reading this review to look at our other 70+ 5 star reviews before forming an opinion.
