More Than Loft Ladders started out in Bolton back in 2007, installing loft ladders and hatches – as well as boarding out attics – in homes throughout Lancashire. Since then, the company has grown from a small, local outfit into a truly national brand with a network of loft ladder installers throughout the UK. Importantly, though, MTLL has always stayed true to its roots, choosing to grow by recruiting trusted, local franchise partners in every region. These local business owners, all operating under the More Than Loft Ladders brand, make sure each and every customer gets the same, consistent high standard of service and care.

I had the loft boarded on the back of the same company completing my daughters just before Christmas. Arrived promptly and worked throughout, with the odd chat which I always appreciate. From start to completion it was so easy. Found the web site, read the reviews, contacted and got a phone call that day. Arranged for a free estimate, super nice man came and talked me through it all. Gave me a cost there and then, but no pressure. Agreed then called with a date suitable to both of us. Kept me posted all the time. Came yesterday and all done in 3 and a bit hours, cleaned away and instructed how to use the ladder. Super nice people, very professional and then bank to bank transfer, my choice. Very, very happy customer. Will use again to board the rest of the loft soon . Highly recommend.

If you are considering having a loft hatch or ladder or boarding, please use this very thorough, professional company. I received a few quotes before going ahead and I was impressed from quote stage right though to the end of the job. Very good pricing, value for money and total peace of mind. We are thrilled with the standard of work and how easy it was to arrange and get done. No fuss no mess no cowboy fitters....5 stars!!!

The guys that did the work came exactly as arranged. Did a wonderful job even accommodating an awkward loft opening and helping us with a last minute alteration. They did an excellent job and we would use them again. We had a wooden ladder fitted with a larger loft opening and boarding out of the loft space.

We had our loft partially boarded by More Than Loft Ladders in February 2024. We were pleased with all aspects of the work, including the office, the initial assessment and quotation and the job itself. All the people we dealt with were friendly and helpful, and the work was done in about half a day. It is more than 2 months since it was done and we have used the loft a lot. We are very happy with the quality and tidiness of the work

I had my loft boarded and a light fitted. The company came out to complete a quote in a timely manner, quote was reasonable and the job booked in for the following week. Everyone I spoke with at the company were friendly and polite. Work was carried out to a high standard, sheets were put down throughout the house and any mess was cleaned up after the work was completed.
