Quickly fixed a small problem with our roof. Seems like guys did a good job. They were polite and helpful and took their time to explain the issue and even fixed another little crack when they were up there. Would definitely use again if we need anything more doing.

We had a serious leak to our flat roof. I looked up roofers on Which trusted traders and decided to use Knightsbridge Roofing. Keith visited , identified the problem and gave us 2 quotes - one for a small repair and one for a complete replacement(as the existing roof was 20+years old). We went with the complete replacement(with insurance backed guarantee). Keith and his team were efficient, polite and worked through and round the rain to install the new roof. The final invoice matched the original quote even though a couple of extra bits of work were included.

I needed some ridge tile replacements and a separate diagnosis of the cause of ingress of water to my property. Keith Tanner provided not only a prompt and efficient service but a very reasonable costs estimate. The necessary work, which included tile repairs and new flashing, was carried out speedily and professionally. Some additional work to main ridge tiles and guttering, together with the painting of tiles to ensure a uniform colour match was all carried out at no additional cost. We needed to have two small flat roof extensions replaced, defective guttering and fascia boards fixed, as well as have the valleys of two dormer windows repaired. Of the companies we asked to quote for the job, Knightsbridge Roofing not only gave the most informative appraisal of the problems that needed to be dealt with, but were also the most competitive price-wise. Our 25 year old+ and rather shoddily built kitchen extension roof and lead box gutter needed full replacement. Given the difficulties we had had with our roof we were very nervous to undertake this job. We found Knightsbridge Roofing through Which Trusted Traders. Within a day or so of initial contact, the director Keith came round to review the job. We were immediately impressed by his professionalism and depth of knowledge. He provided us with what we felt was a very fair and detailed quote to do the works and advised that there would be no up-front fees - all payment was on satisfactory completion of the job. Communication throughout this job was absolutely excellent - emails, photographs and messages sent every step of the way. When the weather inevitably delayed the job he contacted us immediately to defer works and again to say when work could commence. We were never left in doubt as to what was happening. Excellent customer care. Our first impression of professionalism and expertise was borne out throughout the job. His team was punctual, polite, considerate and clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about what was required. His team worked late and into a drizzly dusk to complete the job a day early. After several months of leaks getting worse, we found KRR and were happy with the quote. It wasn't cheap but it was clear that proper repairs were needed after no significant work having been done on the roof for 30 years. Keith got all the scaffolding and permits, and the work was completed in good time. We were kept updated with progress photos and some extra repairs were completed to the top dormer window without charge. I would recommend Knightsbridge Roofing to anyone.

We needed a repair to the lead flashings around a chimney, which were letting in rainwater. Keith sent one of his men to take a look and the repair was done within a week. All photographed before and after so we could see the problem and how it had been repaired. Excellent service, reasonable quote, fast work. A pleasure to deal with.

I had my whole roof replaced. Keith was quick to come out and quote, talk through the process and provide competitive quote. Work started as planned, no surprises. I got updates through photos regularly which is great as it prevented me having to climb three flights of scaffolding to look. I did do my own final look up there and roof looks great, very nicely done. Worth mentioning, I also had integrated solar panels installed at the same time. Keith did all the direct liaison with the solar company and they coordinated between them, which was great. Really impressed and hope the test of time is as successful and impressive as the team was during the project.

Having been let down by another company who were using someone else’s VAT number, I found Knightsbridge Roofing and was a bit cautious as to who I was dealing with and quality etc. I spent time going through reviews, checking vat number, company info and accounts etc but the main two reasons that I chose them was because: 1) Keith was extremely useful and even advised me to speak to one of their main suppliers to check on them 2) the price was reasonable In regards to the work, 3 of the guys came out to tackle the application of pulling up slabs and laying primer then polyurethane sealant to fix some poor workmanship from the previous owner. The guys were professional and thorough as well as respectful and I was very pleased with them. Hopefully the work holds as long as possible but I’m sure Knightsbridge have given it a great chance. I’d definitely recommend this reputable and professional business.

Keith and his staff replaced our existing flat roof with a felted flat roof, fitted new code 4 lead flashings and re-aligned our rear lower guttering. Prior to the installation, Keith provided us with a range of roof replacement options, along with the expected lifespan and cost of each option. We subsequently chose the Axter Force line three layer felt roofing system and agreed dates for the works. Keith contacted us when it became apparent that the work would have to be postponed due to several days of heavy rain coinciding with the planned work dates. Once the revised start date arrived, Keith’s team completed the work within the agreed dates and budget. Following the main installation process, Keith’s team returned to site to ensure that the new roof was fully waterproof and only took payment once that had been ascertained.

We needed some quick work done following the storm that blew a tile off and broke other tiles. Quote was extremely reasonable and Keith’s team helped to check the gutters and repoint the lead flashing too, while they were doing the repairs. They are my go to for any roof work.

We had a leak through a flat roof that was an extension to the property. Keith came round to have a look at the leak the day after I called and explained what the issue was and what he could do to try to stop the leak. He provided a clear quote of the work that would be done at what I think was a reasonable price. We needed help to fix our gutter and Keith answered our query swiftly and visited to quote for work. We had some issue with access to the back to get the scaffolding up but Keith and team showed creativity and flexibility to make it work. Keith responded by coming round to inspect the problems we had the same afternoon I called. He is open and friendly. The work was carried out after the Christmas break: scaffolding erected the day before and taken down one week after completion. The roofers were also approachable and friendly, kept me informed as how the work progressed and sent photographs of the completed work, which included some work that had not been estimated but not charged. The total bill was about 60% of other estimates.

Carried out work on our roof. Also cleaned the guttering. A good job at a fair price. Sent us pictures after as well so I could see what was done a lot better than just checking from the road.

I contacted Knightsbridge Roofing to fit a chimney cowl, fix a leaking gutter joint, and resolve an issue with water pouring over a section of guttering. My gutters were also cleaned. Keith was very responsive by phone and email, attending on time promptly after my first call and providing a quote within 2 days. I don't know if the quote was competitive because it was too hard getting other roofers to quote (!), but Keith's responsiveness would have made him my first choice anyway. The work was completed a few weeks later, having been delayed by rain. The communication was very good as I was kept updated, and they were reliable as I didn't need to chase for a new date. Keith's team were polite, friendly, happy to answer questions and wore shoe covers in my home. The final part of the job was more difficult than anticipated, but they explained the issues and went above and beyond to try to find a solution. This involved realigning a section of guttering - more than they were asked to do. They tested the change but were honest enough to recommend I check for issues in the next downpour. I did that, and although a new issue had appeared, they quickly returned and fixed it, with Keith honouring the original quote, despite all the extra work. Excellent!!! Would always recommend and already have to several friends and colleagues. Professional from start to finish. I asked several friends for references for a full roof replacement and inner structural repairs to internal roof timbers/struts. Knightsbridge Roofers kept coming up. Keith arrived to assess the works and was not only extremely knowledgable about the work in hand but also the area. He was extremely professional, polite and accommodating. Knightsbridge Roofing was chosen following a review of a 'Which' report and we are pleased with the support we recieved and quality of the work carried out by the team. They replaced the gutter, facia board, repaired the chimney stack. Stripped vertical tiles on the front bay of the house and garage roof and replaced them with new clay tiles. Keith coordinated the errection and repositioning of the scaffolding to also accomodate the painting of the outer aspect of the house. Keith was also helpful in discussing other aspect of work in the interim which allowed us to revise the work, which he undertook and we are very pleased with the aesthetic outcome.

I have no hesitation in recommending Knightsbridge Roofing Ltd. for top quality work and great customer service at a competitive price. Our handyman alerted us to the poor condition of the chimney stack and parapet wall on one side of the roof of our terraced house. Some chunks of masonry had broken loose through weathering, and render was cracked and missing in places. Keith came round to discuss what work would be needed and sent a detailed quote, giving us a couple of different priced options. Keith’s manner and approach inspired confidence and after accepting the quote, work commenced a week later. Keith’s two workers were like roofing ninjas! They worked quickly and quietly, completing the bulk of the work in an afternoon. They returned the next day to clean up the lead flashing and apply patination oil to prevent the lead from oxidizing. They provided plenty of before and after photos so we could see for ourselves the positive transformation. A first rate company.

I had to have my flat roof redone and my rooflight removed and replaced with a new one, not because it was old, but because the work had been installed incorrectly. I needed work that was done correctly and also done in a timely manner. Due to the time of year. I was explained what the problem was with my flat roof, and shown in photos the problems as it was being repaired. This was another problem waiting to happen. Keith explained the issue, though not something you want to hear. I am really happy now that he has been repaired. All the way through, all work was photographed, so you knew exactly what was had been done that day. If you need work done, where you cannot see what is happening, you need a company that will show you their work as they do it. If you are thinking of any roof work such a loft or roof-lights installed. Take it from me, go to a company that normally does this type of work Monday to Friday. Do not get a contractor to carryout the work.

I’ve used Knightsbridge Roofing on a number of occasions … small jobs for them but important for me. They inspected & fixed some guttering and affixed chimney cowls to a 3rd storey building. Keith & the team have been brilliant both times. They communicate quickly & clearly, and do the job they say they will, on time & properly. Knightsbridge Roofing replaced my neighbour's flat roof early last year. I asked Keith to inspect mine at the time and he said it was OK but to bear in mind it was probably coming to the end of its life - no pushing to do it there and then. He also did some repair work for another neighbour and both were extremely pleased. After a bitterly cold winter, I decided this summer was the time to replace my flat roof and to incorporate insulation. Keith explained in detail what was involved and his team carried out the work on time whilst dodging difficult weather situations. They provided daily photographs showing progress and I am assured by another neighbour with more expertise than me that it is an extremely impressive job (I haven’t been up there myself)! Keith has restored my faith in the roofing profession. He and his team replaced the flaunching on our chimneys; guttering and soffits plus re-aligned a number of roof tiles which had slipped. These repairs finally fixed leaks which we have two other roofing companies failed to do in the past 4 years. They also re-felted our Victorian porch roof. Keith was extremely thorough in his explanations, made sure I understood options and very kindly facilitated a double glazing company to fit some windows while the scaffolding was up, plus liaised with our neighbour as the flaunching repairs were on our shared stack. His team also took numerous photos and videos when they uncovered a couple of other issues whilst undertaking the pre-agreed work. They were the cheapest of the quotes I had received and the extra costs arising from new issues were extremely fair. Keith and his team completed a full replacement including insulation of the flat roof of our building (a Victorian building containing four flats) plus adding fascia boards, felting, any additional repairs etc. He is an exceptional contractor in every way. From the start Keith was a great communicator - clear about the work that was needed and when it would be done. He kept us informed at every step of the process, as I was not onsite, including very regular and detailed photos of progress - which is unusual in my experience, and was very helpful. The quality of his work was extremely high and during the process of completing the roof replacement his team spotted and carried out at no additional cost additional repairs/fixes to other areas which had been bodged by previous contractors and so were in danger of allowing leaks. His quote was extremely fair for the work required and he did not overquote for any work which he felt was unneccessary, - he had carried out a good assessment prior to quoting in order to quote accurately. Keith and his team really know what they are doing and do not just quote for a complete replacement if this isn't needed. He had previously done some work for us prior to this job and explained carefully with photographic support why this work was necessary now. We were not able to be onsite for the work that was done, but Keith was very attentive to detail and communicative with walking us through everything he was going to do. Knightsbridge Roofing (KR) completed a total rear extension flat roof replacement measuring 64sqm in 5 days. Provided with a detailed quotation and clear explanation of the work required I was confident from the start that KR would do a good job. I was not disappointed. With 6-4 workers per day in dry but extremely cold weather work was carried out at a pace in a highly professional manner. Not being on site to ‘see’ the work, detailed reports, with photographs, were provided. KR communication throughout was excellent. Keith Tanner has been exceptional from start to finish. Knightsbridge Roofing re-flaunched a chimney stack and replaced a broken chimney pot which was discovered after the works started. They also booked the scaffolding. Keith was very clear and communicative throughout. He was precise in explaining the costing, and confirmed all the key points in writing. During the job Keith's men on site kept me informed about progress, showed me photos of the damage and explained the work being done. Keith called me to explain why I needed a new chimney pot and agreed the price with me up front. They spotted a couple of small other problems and quickly fixed them for no extra charge. Knightsbridge had done some excellent work for us a year or so ago, so I contacted Keith immediately with regard to our leak. He called within the hour to assess the situation and sent his guys over from another job to affect a repair. The location of the leak, however, proved much more difficult than anticipated, and two further visits were required before the problem was finally resolved. Reasonable price agreed and work scheduled for about three weeks as we were away until then. We had tried 5 different roofing companies before we came across Keith and Knightsbridge Roofing. All the other companies couldn't offer the service for all the repairs that were needed from installing new lead flashing to re-designing a GRP cover. Keith came over, could see all the problems and had staff who could do all the work. Keith and his team are both courteous and professional. Previously used Knightsbridge in about 2004/2005 for missing tiles and following a leak in the roof causing water ingress in the room below I contacted Knightsbridge. Although the roof was inaccessible without scaffolding I was advised that the age of the roof (20-35 years) meant that it would need replacing. I recently needed to find a roofer/company that could repair flashing as I'd had a leak since a new extension was fitted to the house. I called Knightsbridge roofing and they came out to investigate the issue. He arrived on the day he said he would and advised when looking at the issue what he thought may be the problem, which was down to how the flashing had been installed. Post this, he said he'd send me a quote to fix the work and did as promised. It wasn't much longer post accepting the quote that the team came to fix the flashing. They worked quickly and effectively to redo my flashing, ripping out everything that had been previously installed and redoing it all. The team were very friendly and informative and explained what was being done and some other observations they noticed whilst doing the work. I found them very professional and knowledgeable as well as honest, he has a passion for what he does. Knightsbridge Roofing have very satisfactorily completed work on our leaking 1960's roof, which is part of a small block of flats. They were prompt, knowledgeable, informative and gave us 2 estimates. This is the first time we have used this company - the usual roofer was too busy - and we would certainly choose this company again. Although there were numerous problems for them including the weather, difficulty sourcing concrete tiles and revealing numerous unforeseen structural problems with the valley and surrounding roof, the work was completed on budget and to the agreed schedule. We own the freehold of a house in West London with a multi level roof. The roof was fully replaced in 2013 including stonework and felting. We had had considerable difficulties in the past. KR were recommended by the builder and the work was done expertly, on time and within budget - a rarity in London. After 8 years the roof works are in very good condition and remain so following an inspection today. We have had a number of small call outs since the main contract and Mr Tanner is always courteous and efficient - this review is following the most recent call out - an inspection of the roof for insurance purposes. I approached Knightsbridge Roofers when I saw their van parked round the corner from my house. There is a flat roof that was leaking very badly after a shoddy repair last year. My husband is very ill and needed that room for a live in nurse. I had approached several roofing companies but they were all too busy. Keith Tanner and his colleagues offered to come straight away and solved my problem. It was extremely kind of them to help me at a difficult time. The work was carried out extremely well and the workmen were efficient and curteous. It was an emergency repair but I will certainly ask them to carry out the permanent repair in the spring. The reflective paint on my flat roof had worn off with resultant cracks round the edges of the roof. Keith Tanner came, took clear, detailed photos and explained what was wrong and what he could do to repair it, sending me a written estimate of cost which was reasonable, comparing well with other quotes. I saw on his photos that the gutters badly needed cleaning and we agreed, at my request, not his suggestion, an additional price for this, including cleaning the down pipes. The work was started and completed on the 27th, I was shown and later sent photos of the completed work. The gutters were thoroughly cleaned and the roof looked smoothly covered and protected. These are the best roofers I have used and I have used quite a few when trying to find a good one. Keith sent Chris round very quickly when I rang to say there was a leak in the front bedroom and he fixed it really quickly. I have also used this company to render the chimney stack last September having tried and failed to find a roofer who could fix it and stop it leaking. Very good service. Prompt responses to queries on the phone and email very much helped. Roof was leaking - ridge tiles needed fixing - daylight visible - and 60 years of moss removing. Work done on time and to the cost agreed. Very good tidy up at the end. They aren't cheap but then nothing is at the moment and getting a good job done, swiftly, was very important to us - the view from others is that it was a fair price factoring in high demand and limited supply for such trades. Other firms had quoted for work previously on the same roof and had exaggerated the task, gave alarmist predictions of roof collapse and suggested unnecessary roof replacement and crazy prices. Knightsbridge Roofing did none of this - to their credit. Would definitely recommend.

On the 29th June 2021, We contacted Knightsbridge Roofing Ltd explaining the problems we were experiencing with our roof whenever it rained. On the 2nd July 2021, the roofers came on time as promised and examined our roof. They explained the problems to us and later that day we received a quote with a breakdown and description of the works needed doing along with photos of the sections of the roof that needed repairing. We accepted the quote, it was reasonably priced and we requested that they proceed with the repairs as soon as is possible. On the 7th July, 2021, they were able to come due to a cancellation of another job, for which we were very thankful. They carried out the works as per the quote and left the property clean and tidy. On 8th July, 2021, we received clear photos of the repairs carried out and the invoice as per quote. We are also very pleased to report that a problem we had for years with damp in a wall in the rear reception room of the house was finally made good by Knightsbridge Roofing. Numerous companies were asked over the years to fix the damp problem on the wall, but were unsuccessful, and we had given up, now the wall is finally dry. We are so grateful for the excellent repairs done that we highly recommend this company and we will surely use them again.

We were suffering a roof leak that transpired was as a result of damaged lead flashing along a parapet wall. I requested a visit for a quotation online and received a reply that same (Sunday) afternoon and a visit was arranged for the following Thursday. An inspection visit was made, as arranged, and the problem was quickly identified with a detailed explanation given of the work required. I received detailed quotes for the work by email the following day. A date was agreed for the erection of the scaffolding and the work commenced on 20 July and was fully completed the same day. I was kept fully informed throughout the whole process, from start to finish, via emails from the director, Mr Tanner. I was greatly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of everyone involved in the work and the friendly and considerate way in which it was carried out. On completion of the work, the gentleman who carried out the repair provided me with a full description, showing me photographs he had taken on his mobile phone during each stage of the process, and copies of those photos were emailed to me the following day by Mr Tanner, with descriptive captions clarifying the work done. I consider the work to have been carried out to a very high standard. I consider, the level of service I received throughout to be of the highest quality and have had no hesitation in recommending the company to family and friends, and anyone else who is looking for a reliable company.

The enquiry to fix a leaking flat roof was answered promptly with a comprehensive recommendation including two options, both priced with 20 year guarantee on the work. Flexibility and understanding allowed the work to be programmed with minimum disruption to the household. Once commenced the team were reliable and polite, efficiently carrying out the work and respecting the functioning of the household without causing a mess. The work has been successful to date. As the landlord of a rental property it's important to get any maintenance issues looked at and dealt with quickly. I used Knightsbridge last year for a roof leak and when I needed a company again this year I called them and Keith was able to meet me at the property very quickly. He identified the issue immediately (a lack of flashings on an old roof) and his team was able to carry out the work within 10 days. I was highly concerned about having to find a roofer for my life expired 60's roof on a tenanted property in Penge. Patch up options were no longer financially viable and my previous experience of repairs, just a couple of years ago was less than good. We needed a gutter repair that required scaffolding. We received a quotation which was then checked and clarified with the scaffolding company. The scaffolding was erected and the job completed within week to our satisfaction. The scaffolders were careful not to damage the front garden and, as the repair was simpler than predicted, a deduction was made to that portion of the bill.

We had a leaking roof and called Knightsbridge Roofing, as busy as they were they found the time to come out to us, they were able to come and survey the roof and provide a quote, which was very good, along with pictures of the repair required within a couple of days and also providing various options for the repairs. They also arranged for the scaffolding to be erected. What was also great is that they were able to do the job a day earlier than expected, the 2 guys that did the repairs were polite and confirmed what work they were carrying out, it was completed within 3 hours with minimum disruption. After the job was completed we were sent pictures of the repairs and it looks fantastic. This was a complete retile of a relatively complex roof, including a curve over a semi-circular window plus refurbishment of party wall ridge and chimney and demolition of two side chimney stacks. Done at the same time as my neighbour's roof. The quotation was for the tiling and was the middle price of three, but very informative and detailed, showing how they proposed to deal with the several special features and offered some optional enhancements which I took up. They warned that the state of the chimney stacks could not be assessed until scaffolding was up. When it was, it became clear they were worse than appeared from the ground. They quoted to refurbish, reduce the height or remove and I opted for remove. I was glad I had been forewarned, and now there's no risk of them causing damage to the new tiles. The work was done to a high standard, very neat, with close attention to detail. I'm a competent DIYer myself and took occasional sneak peeks and never found anything out of place or untidy. They were friendly, pleasant to have around and very happy to explain what they were doing. They finished a bit earlier than scheduled. They left the scaffolding up so we could paint our house walls and it's due to come down imminently. There are two minor items to be done when the scaffolding has gone and I have no doubt at all they will be round to do it. I have no hesitation at all in awarding this trader top marks.

Brilliant job done by Keith and his team. Quite a lot of repairs where needed on my roof. Lead flashing was installed with new render on walls above, one chimney was re pointed and the second was reduced in height and rendered. Parapet ridge tiles, the first line of felt and the valley was replaced, they also replaced some rotten soffit and fascia board for free. The quote was detailed and broken down in sections with costs for each repair. The work was carried out in a professional way by an excellent friendly reliable team they where really knowledgeable and explained in detail the work that was being undertaken each day. We had a full roof renewed on a 1950s bungalow - pitched roof to the front and a large flat roof to the back. Workmen were respectful, turned up on time and took all rubbish at the end of job leaving all areas tidy. We are very happy with the roof.
