Kudos Stairlifts

Excellent customer service from first point of contact. Initial survey arranged within a week and it was clearly explained to me that the surveyor who was coming was not a salesman but would be able to explain my options and leave me a quote. Surveyor was very professional and talked to me about my needs and physical limitations before leaving me with a clear quote. A couple of days later I received a courtesy call from Kudos asking if I was happy with the service I had received from the surveyor and whether I would like to proceed. At no point was there any pressure for a sale and when I said that I would like to proceed, the representative was careful to explain that I was welcome to take more time to make a decision. Once I decided to proceed, an appointment for a more detailed 3D survey of my stairs was arranged within a week and Peter who came to do the survey was very polite and professional. A week later I had a phone call from the Kudos office as the stairlift manufacturer had raised a concern with the side of the stairs we had planned to fit the stairlift to. She clearly explained the issue and offered to call back in a few days when she would have drawings for both options from the stairlift company and emailed them to me so we could discuss them. This enable me to make an informed decision and the stairlift was fitted around 6 weeks later. The installation was excellent and Peter ensured I was confident in its operation and left the house clean and tidy.

We placed two stair lift orders with Kudos, but unfortunately had to cancel on both occasions due to my fathers' deteriorating health. The Kudos survey engineer was highly professional, friendly and honest, leaving us to consider the available options without any hard sell. The staff at head office dealt with our difficult situation in a sympathetic and efficient manner. At the point of cancellation, we were refunded all costs very swiftly with no quibble whatsoever. I would highly recommend Kudos over the other "well known" brand names out there.

I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who wants a stairlift that meets all the criteria that you want. Being a curved staircase we were sceptical about whether it would fit, the salesman who came to see us assured us that they could fit any staircase. He gave us a couple of options to choose from and we went for the Flow2 as it was programmable to be able to cope with the tight turns. The price was very reasonable and we paid the 50% deposit, sat back and waited for the phone call to arrange fitting. Well today Troy the fitter arrived to install the stairlift, he could not have been more pleasant. After 4 hours he showed us how to operate it and said that if we had any issues he would come back to sort them out. I can’t praise this company for their exceptional customer service and friendly staff enough. From start to finish they have been a pleasure to deal with.
