From start to finish Kudos Stairlifts has been outstanding, from its customer service to installing the finished product. The essential keystone in its business is the wishes of the service user. We were recommended Kudos Stairlifts as they can provide an adaptable stairlift, as my wife is unable to move her legs back. The product has been fantastic and now my wife can travel up and down the stairs. Whereas before she was limited to the downstairs. The engineer was friendly, knowledgeable, immaculate and took time to demonstrate the product with me and more importantly with my wife. The installation of the stairlift was installed well within the lead time quoted and although a considered purchase, it will stand the test of time.

Two visits: one to explain the product and then to measure up, the second to fit the device. The same person came on both occasions. The whole process was painless and completely professional. Due to our, apparently. unusual stairs, other stairlift people were unable to help us. However, it was no problem for Kudos. Product fitted our needs completely.

Very efficient and professional operation from the initial enquiry through to site survey, equipment options, design and final installation. Communication was excellent and everyone involved very friendly and helpful. Super company to deal with.

Initially we tried another company who could not cope with the complexity of our staircase. They recommended Kudos. Troy surveyed and installed it. His explanations regarding operating it were clear and reassuring. He left us feeling confident that this would be a liberating experience. I can now go up and downstairs safely without the need to rely on my wife for assistance.

Mum finally agreed that she needed a stair lift. It was a difficult staircase with a full narrow turn and a low bulkhead. Peter from Kudos thoroughly assessed the stairs and whether mum would be able to clear all the turns on a stair lift. The team in the office kept us fully informed about the drawings, the manufacture and shipment of the lift. Peter arrived on time on both the measuring and fitment day. He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and supportive. The stair lift was fitted quickly, carefully with minimum disruption to the home. Peter explained thoroughly all aspects of the function of the lift and how to use it. His instructions were clear, patient and detailed. As a family we have been very impressed with this company and delighted with the new stair lift. Mum will now be safer in her own home and her independence is retained. My husband has severe copd After 3 nights running of my husband having severe breathing difficulties after climbing the stairs, I was on the phone ringing round 3 companies .Comparing them after visits we chose Kudos. I am so glad we did. From start to finish nothing but kindness and expert knowledge. We have 2 bends in the staircase which added to the cost but the result was worth every penny and more. He is on oxygen 15 hours a day, so the freedom the stairs give him is amazing. We had a slight problem a few days later and an engineer was soon out, no questions, just superb service. I suffer with severe vertigo and normally I am stuck either up or downstairs , now we have a stairlift when my husband is looking after me he knows he can get to me quickly, I fall over a lot. I cannot praise too highly the standard of workmanship and the extremely friendly way I was treated by the staff whenever they called me. The stair lift was installed very quickly and without any disturbance and a slight concern they had in the readings of the usage that had to be taken before it was handed over was soon rectified. The lift I ordered is first class and I get up the stairs so easily with the simple controls. It was within my budget and wishes. I find it hard to find the words to describe the excellence of all the staff who had to contact me as I as always left with the feeling that my concern had their total attention. Their concern did not end with the installation as they have continued to contact me since. Kudos standards should be copied by many other companies as the best way to handle customers.

Kudos recommended by friend, the survey was carried out on time, although more electrical work was eventually required than advised. Electrician attended as scheduled, installation was as scheduled, and undertaken professionally. The lift has proved beneficial, and to date no problems have arisen. More info on the servicing arrangements in the future would be handy.

From the initial survey and quote, without any sales pressure, through to the installation, everyone was courteous, helpful, friendly and very professional. We have a turn in our staircase, so the main survey took a couple of hours, because that is how accurately they work. He even measured us. Installation took a while too but was faultless and very tidy. Before he left we were fully briefed on its use. A small problem a few weeks later was quickly resolved by a few helpful phone calls and another engineer visit. We are delighted with both our stairlift and their service. Kudos is thoroughly recommended.

This company is a class act. We went to them because they specialise in stairlifts that fit tricky spaces - ie - if you have narrow stairs or windy stairs [they do normal staircases too]. They take meticulous measurements of you and your staircase and it is made to measure - though they are not that much more expensive than leading brands that are not bespoke. You mainly get the same people answering the phone at head office who are friendly and polite, as are the people who come to fit [they also have their own electrician who comes to fit all the electrics prior to fitting]. Highly recommend

I was lucky - my neighbour already had one so I could see (and try) what I was buying. The initial and detailed surveys were carried out promptly, at the agreed times. Installation was also as arranged and went without a hitch. I am very satisfied with the stairlift and it has made life much easier. Communication with the company was always good, with callbacks when promised. All in all a happy customer experience

I contacted 3 companies in our area via email and Kudos where the first to come back to me with a budget price. One didn't reply at all, and one wouldn't provide me with a budget price. So, I contacted Kudos for a survey and a quote, the engineer turned up and was polite, professional and quick, provided the quote on the spot. The price was towards the lower end of the budget so i placed an order. The delivery and installation lead-time was excellent, all delivered and installed in no time. Kudos are simply the best and most efficient company I have ever used. Just before Christmas and during the pandemic they planned and installed two stairlifts to facilitate my husband’s discharge home following an amputation. From my initial telephone enquiry to the installation only ten days later everyone I dealt with was extremely professional but kind and helpful. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them more highly.

Despite our stairs being narrow and steep, the trader made it all work. He was kind, informative and prompt. It couldn't have gone better. Have already recommended them to others in a similar position.

We talked to James initially about installing a chair lift for a difficult space. He couldn’t have been more helpful, there was no hard sell, everything was explained clearly and knowledgeably and he arranged for the surveyor to come out a couple of days later. The surveyor couldn’t have been more considerate and polite. He had the plans drawn up and sent to the design team within hours which he kept us involved with. A really nice lady kept us informed as to how it was all progressing and five weeks later the installer arrived. The work was carried out with no disruption or mess and completed within 4 hours. He then guided my Mother through the operating of the chair lift with incredible patience making sure that we all understood. This is a truly outstanding company with exceptional staff and a state of the art product.

My husband had a fall and is unable to use the stairs so we contacted Kudos about installing a stairlift for him. I spoke to their salesperson through zoom and it struck me straight away that this company is for us as they were not trying to do the hard sell but allowed me to find what we needed through my questions and not the company pushing certain styles or brands. We were able to purchase a stairlift within our budget which we are very satisfied with. The engineer was on time and explained what he was doing and why. I was given instructions how to operate the lift and demonstrations. I contacted Kudos a few days after the installation to request the removal of a radiator and if they could move the stairlift over a few inches as I felt that the gap may be too narrow for my husband's leg after his surgery. The changes that I needed were carried out quickly and efficiently by Kudos. Throughout the process of requesting the stairlift and the installation, the Kudos staff, electrician, plumber and engineers have all been so kind and patient with me. They all have made the experience of having such an adjustment to our lives so much easier by their kindness, politeness and their efforts to help as much as they possibly could. The kindness of strangers goes a long way when you are going through difficult times. I had never encountered a company where everyone you spoke to or dealt with were so genuine, polite, kind and really wanted to ensure that you were completely satisfied.

Following my enquiry, they sent a surveyor to advise us on stairlifts in general. He discussed our requirements at length and we agreed on the make we felt was best for us. There was absolutely no pressure and a quotation was sent. After placing the order we had one or two phone calls and like the surveyor, everyone was helpful and charming. Delivery was quoted as 8/10 weeks but they did got it and fitted in 7 weeks. The same gentleman who came to survey also was responsible for the fitting. The installation was on a staircase with 3 u bends and took about 5 hours. We were then given tuition to make sure we were happy and able to understand the workings and safety procedures. The product Is fine and the service from Kudos in all respects was respectful, friendly and efficient. If you are in the market for this type of equipment don’t look any further!

After phoning to arrange a visit the lovely lady on reception made a suitable time to visit. The survey was made by John, who understood that due to my husband's health we were taking extra care as still shielding. He explained options and suggested a choice of 2 suitable lifts. No pressure to order the same day and no discounted sweeteners to hurry a same day order. When our decision was confirmed a few days later a date was agreed to install the following week. Troy arrived and after very careful and quick fitting and demo I was 'flying upstairs' wondering why I had not had one years before. We had 3 quotes, a well-known company had quoted £500-00 more but offered sweeteners if ordered on the day so did the other company we invited. We preferred the Kudos approach, staff were polite and understanding of our needs, a good choice of lifts and colours. Well done and Thanks.

Excellent customer service from the original survey visit through to the installation. Particularly liked the fact that the install was done by the same person who surveyed & sold the stairlift. Installation lead times to suit your needs wherever possible. Installer fast efficient and very tidy, and trained a rather nervous mother-in-law with great kindness and patience. She is now whizzing up and downstairs with more confidence each time she uses the lift. Thank you

Kudos were a good firm to deal with. 3 visits. I. To explain products and give a ballpark figure for a stairlift to suit us 2. To take our order and do detailed measurements as needed. 3. To install a stairlift. All three were done by the same person who was very considerate and pleasant to deal with. Everything thoroughly e plaited and pressure to buy. Delivery time was the shortest time of estimate. On installation, everything was explained and trial rims were supervised and details covered.
