Kudos Stairlifts

I had more or less seen enough stairlift companies when I was persuaded by James to let them do a survey. I have not regretted it. The survey, quotation and explanation of the features of the lifts were all explained very clearly. In the end, I opted for a Thyssen for my wife. The whole process was efficient and timely. Troy and Alfie arrived on time and carried out the work in the estimated timeframe. Their work was exemplary and they made sure we understood how it all worked before they left. There was minimal disturbance and they left the area clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. They kept me fully informed and were in contact throughout the period leading up to the installation.

I contacted Kudos Stairlifts for some information about a stairlift for my parents. The service from beginning to end was absolutely outstanding. We were informed and updated every step of the way. If anyone was even going to be 5 minutes late for an appointment we received a call. We were kept in the loop every step of the way. After fitting the lift; they would not leave until they were certain that my mother was 100% happy. The lift itself is of fantastic quality and the price was very competitive and good. It is very rare these days to experience such great customer service.

We had an Access Flow 2 stairlift fitted by Kudos about eight weeks ago - ample time to judge its worth. it has been a real success, my disabled wife is delighted with it, and I am very impressed with its engineering. It has two motors: one to drive the rack and pinion movement, the second to manoeuvre the attitude of the chair to match our stair layout. Three members of Kudos staff were involved in the choice, measuring its positioning, and finally the fitting, and all were very knowledgable about their product and very easy to deal with. It begins in the middle of the hall, rises and turns through 180 degrees to move upstairs on the internal banister side of the stairs, turns through another 180 degrees at the top of the stairs and parks on the landing It is truly made to measure and to neatly suit our requirements. I am sorry to be so enthusiastic and glowing about this stairlift but it smart and looks so good that I have no qualms about recommending it. Excellent service from Kudos, and I have a stairlift clearly way ahead of its rivals and undoubtedly value for money.

This was an excellent installation from beginning to end. Kudos stairlifts were recommended by another stairlift company who were unable to fit our staircase. The initial survey was very thorough and the digital survey was carefully and professionally carried out. The installation was achieved without fuss and disruption, and the site was cleaned after installation. A demonstration and tutorial ensured we knew how to use the stairlift safely . We were kept informed of developments throughout the whole process. All personnel,both on the telephone and in the house were very polite, considerate, helpful, friendly and obviously were well trained and knew what they were about. The whole project was well managed and we are delighted with our stairlift.

Everything was done on time, they kept in touch and checked that everything was OK. Neatly and professionally fitted, couldn't ask for better.

I am delighted with my stairlift and the service provided by Kudos. The office staff were unfailingly helpful; the initial site visit was really detailed and informative; the digital survey and ultimately the installation were carried out with great care and consideration and the minimum disruption. We contacted two suppliers and decided that Kudos had the best offering. We opted for the Thyssen Krupps lift. The lift has now been in operation for a couple of weeks and we are absolutely delighted with it. Kudos have been excellent, a particularly good aspect is we had one of their employees, Troy, with us all the way and he was at every home visit. I definitely recommend them.

Having developed an illnes which limited my movement, especially on stairs and finding that moving from a house to a bungalow impossibly expensive, I sought advice on stairlifts. From start to finish, excellent service. Salesman was very caring and helpful, explained all options. He didn’t criticise other companies, he just sold his product. The engineer who fitted the stairlift was courteous and explained how to use the lift. He also used social distancing in these difficult times. I must say the other company that visited spent time criticising other companies, when I said we were not going with them they tried to buy us out, stating reasons why we should not go with our choice. That left a bad taste.

Needing recently to get a stairlift installed for a relative injured in a fall, I carried out thorough research which led me to Kudos. Their response to my enquiries – professional and devoid of pushy salesmanship – convinced me to order their Flow 2 stairlift as a precision engineered product and the best design for the purpose. The whole process from order and preliminary assessment through to survey and installation was conducted with efficiency and courtesy by all concerned. As the target was to finish the job before the patient’s discharge from hospital, Kudos pulled out all the stops and delivered and installed the lift on time as promised. I am delighted to recommend Kudos Stairlifts and their team. I switched to Kudos following an unsatisfactory experience with renting a [faulty] Acorn stairlift from another company. So i was looking for a totally reliable solution for my 92 family member who lives alone. Kudos installed a crackajack Thyssen Flow 2 on time and on budget - exactly as requested, and they have been attentive and professional throughout the planning and installation process. Even when my elderly family member recently turned off the stairlift by mistake, they quickly identified the problem, reassured her and of course restarted the lift. And James kept me informed throughout the planning process, installation as well as the time when the lift was switched off. Excellent service and I could not recommend Kudos more highly.

When you think of stairlifts, there are two names that come to mind, and Kudos isn't one of them. Shame, because they are absolutely brilliant. I was getting nowhere with the national brand companies, and found Kudos through a Google search. I contacted them and a sales person visited, did a quick survey of the sites and the potential users, and recommended a particular (UK-made) model. We agreed a price. Shortly afterwards, a surveyor came and made really detailed and accurate measurements of the site, and users (weight and leg length come into it). This survey highlighted a problem with my leg length, and the firm suggested a modification to the spec, which we accepted. Kudos placed the order with Platinum Stairlifts, and 3 weeks later a fitter came from the factory and fitted the stairlift single handedly in 5 hours. The whole process took about 5 weeks, and has been smooth and trouble free. Everyone at Kudos and Platinum Stairlifts has been friendly, polite, helpful and very professional. I give them the highest possible ratings. But most importantly, the stairlift has revolutionised my wife's life. She no longer has to crawl up stairs on hands and knees, pausing for breath on the way. And she can take the laundry upstairs, too.

Kudos Mobility Group. The whole process from Sales demonstration,survey and fitting was conducted in friendly and efficient manner. Despite the cost being more than rival companies the product quality and features made it more acceptable and as it has so far proved worthwhile.
