Kudos Stairlifts

When you think of stairlifts, there are two names that come to mind, and Kudos isn't one of them. Shame, because they are absolutely brilliant. I was getting nowhere with the national brand companies, and found Kudos through a Google search. I contacted them and a sales person visited, did a quick survey of the sites and the potential users, and recommended a particular (UK-made) model. We agreed a price. Shortly afterwards, a surveyor came and made really detailed and accurate measurements of the site, and users (weight and leg length come into it). This survey highlighted a problem with my leg length, and the firm suggested a modification to the spec, which we accepted. Kudos placed the order with Platinum Stairlifts, and 3 weeks later a fitter came from the factory and fitted the stairlift single handedly in 5 hours. The whole process took about 5 weeks, and has been smooth and trouble free. Everyone at Kudos and Platinum Stairlifts has been friendly, polite, helpful and very professional. I give them the highest possible ratings. But most importantly, the stairlift has revolutionised my wife's life. She no longer has to crawl up stairs on hands and knees, pausing for breath on the way. And she can take the laundry upstairs, too.

Kudos Mobility Group. The whole process from Sales demonstration, survey and fitting was conducted in friendly and efficient manner. Despite the cost being more than rival companies the product quality and features made it more acceptable and as it has so far proved worthwhile.

From the start of our decision excellent customer service by different members of staff. From the surveyor to the fitter could not have asked for better service. Would recommend kudos 100% and very pleased with chair lift.

I wanted to thank you as a company but especially James Hill who went over and above to support my father with his questions and worries. He always kept my father and myself fully up to date with developments. His manner and professionalism were second to none. Thank you very much.

From the initial visit, followed by the measurement taking, the planning and installation of the chair lift, everyone in the company has been helpful, efficient and totally professional. The schedule of work was met as was the budget. The lift is easy to use and meets all my expectations. I have every confidence about the availability of the after care service because of high quality of the service I have received. I would give Kudos the highest recommendation.

Excellent - from start to finish! Everything done on time The friendly, courteous manner began at the presentation stage and proved efficient all the way to the final installation, impeccably carried out by the engineer Troy Thorp.

From initial survey and quotation to installation first class service. The stair-lift meets our needs and was installed in one day. Installer was a good technician, neat , tidy and informative.

Having reviewed the suppliers of stairlifts I narrowed the list down and chose Kudos. From the visit of the Sales Engineer on a Sunday Morning, through the the measuring and specification process to the actual supplying and installation of the Stairlift I cannot fault any stage. The engineers were on time for the visits to my property, very personable and were able to fully explain the product I purchased in detail. Their workmanship was excellent and very tidy. I was kept fully informed at every stage of the acquisition process and the company and staff acted in a professional manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Kudos for the supply of stairlifts.

Kudos were amazing from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly by knowledgeable friendly staff and there were always opportunities to ask questions. They kept in touch during every step of the process from the initial meeting, measuring up, fitting and customer satisfaction and usability. I would highly recommend Kudos to anyone looking for a stairlift.

From the initial contact by telephone through to removal of a previous owned stair lift and installation of a new stairlift, their service has been excellent. Efficient, thoughtful and sympathetic to my needs throughout the whole process, I can thoroughly recommend this company.

Enquired, surveyed, and fitted with one week. Work carried out by a single well mannered operative who completed the work cleaned up after himself and explained the operating and safety features fully. 5* service will recommend to anyone. Thanks for your service.

Kudos stairlift showed professionalism from my initial telephone call. They organised a sales call within a week and a follow up technical survey within 2. Both were extremely polite, and explained everything very clearly. The installation went very smoothly and the training was detailed and easy to understand. Troy was a really nice man. I would definitely recommend this company and their people.

This firm has demonstrated a very professional approach with Sales, Survey, Administration and Installation being of a very high standard. Communication has been excellent and the work has been carried out on the pre-agreed date and with the team previously named (Troy and Tom), they also being very polite, and clean working, with every aspect of the work and use of the installation fully explained to our satisfaction, with no final payment until we were completely happy. Can thoroughly recommend Kudos Stairlifts.

I was concerned that our staircase, with it's bottom stair protruding into the hallway, the kitchen doorway immediately to one side and the cloakroom door immediately on the other, was likely to present problems for a stair lift installation. The first two companies I contacted only confirmed my belief. Both of their solutions involved a folding rail at the bottom, with the chair parked part way up the stairs when not in use. In one solution the folding piece obscured the lower part of the banister rail when folded up. In the other, the folded rail had a protruding piece of metal that could injure the leg of an able-bodied person using the stairs. The parked chair also made it difficult for an able-bodied person to get by, especially when carrying anything. The third quote was from Kudos. The sales engineer explained that they could install a running rail that would land vertically beside the bottom stair without protruding into the hallway, whilst leaving enough clearance for the cloakroom door. I was dubious, and said I would only place an order if the surveying engineer confirmed the sales engineer's claims. The meticulous survey did indeed confirm the claims. My only concern then was that it would all fit as per the survey. I needn't have worried. The installation was carried out with millimetre precision, operates exactly as predicted, and with 3 parking places, top, bottom and 4 steps up, is convenient and easy to use. A first class result all round.
