Kudos Stairlifts

From the initial quotation, through to installation and after service, I have found the service provided by Kudos to be excellent.

A great service from the first phone call to the chair being installed. We had Peter initially who came to do a presentation, explained exactly how their service works. Then 5 weeks later Peter and Aiden arrive to install, they took 5 hours to install, excellent job.

I was really impressed with Kudos Stairlifts who put in a lift for my Grandad. From the helpful and friendly sales lady on the phone (Claire) to the expert fitters (Troy and Aaron) everything was done efficiently, with care and with a great level of customer service.

Having thought about a stairlift for some time I contacted Kudos on the afternoon of Sun.16th May. Within the hour I had a telephone call from a lady who arranged a visit by their local area manager at 10.00 Tues 18th. John Parkhill (the area man) arrived on time and displayed his in depth knowledge of his products and regulations. Prior to his departure I ordered a reconditioned unit at a very favourable price. Arrangements were made to install the unit on Thurs. 20th May. On Thurs. two engineers (Troy and Aaron) arrived on time and had the unit operating approx. 4 hours later. Which displayed their skill and professionalism. This was the first time I had seen the unit and I would defy anyone to know it is a reconditioned unit.

After looking around the market and discussing competitive pricing I placed an order for a stair lift with Kudos - whilst they were not the cheapest I found their approach to be the more professional and Thyssen had given me their name as their direct agents. Their survey, installation and timely delivery were very efficient.

We spoke to James about installing a stair lift for my parents. Within a couple of days they came round to make an assessment and gave a very competitive quote for a Homeglide Extra stairlift made by Thyssenkrupp. We decided to go with this option, but the fitting of this was urgently required as my Mum had just come out of hospital and was really struggling with the stairs. We called James on Good Friday not really expecting anyone to be there, but someone answered and said James would ring us back. Sure enough we got a call that afternoon and arranged an installation for the following Friday. However, my Dad received a call on the Tuesday saying that they could actually fit it next day (Wednesday) which was amazing service - literally two working days after accepting the quote. The installation was smooth and efficient. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone - 100%.

I had a Platignum stairlift that was 10 years old and showing its age. I need a curved stairlift to replace it. Kudos carried out a full survey and offered me 3 solutions. I chose a Thyssenkrupp Flow 2. This was built within several weeks. It was efficiently installed by Troy, who took the time to install the curved stair rail in a tight situation. It was programmed and demonstrated with care. Now I can glide up and down with ease. I strongly recommend this firm.

My elderly mother-in-law's Stannah stairlift needed replacing. Kudos arranged to come over and measure up which they did very thoroughly, including measuring her to make sure she would fit OK. We had planned to have several companies come round, but after getting a good price on a Homeglide stairlift, we decided there and then to go ahead with their offer. The job was done on time and professionally, despite the old Stannah being a bit of a monster to dismantle and take out. Very pleased all round with service, price, product and company

I had an Access BDD Flow X curved stairlift installed by Kudos Stairlifts. The experience with Kudos was brilliant from the initial contact through to installation. Laura at Kudos kept me informed at every step of the way and was friendly, professional and helpful throughout. Every question I had was answered knowledgeably without any sales pressure. The Kudos installers, Troy and Alfie, were friendly and professional and the installation was carried out efficiently on the agreed date. The operation of the stairlift was fully explained to me by the installers before they left. I have now had the Flow X for several weeks and the operation of the stairlift has been flawless, due no doubt to both the quality of the Flow X and the expertise of Kudos during the initial surveying and subsequent installation. I have no hesitation in recommending Kudos Stairlifts.

Highly courteous. The team communicate effectively amongst themselves. I was kept informed of progress during the inspection / product review / delivery / installation stages. Work was completed in a very tidy and efficient manner. Strongly recommended.

They arrived very promptly on time. They started work straight away and did not stop until they had finished. Alfred the engineer was very clear with his instructions to me on how to use the stairlift. He was most careful with keeping me safe while working, with distancing and sanitizing. I am most impressed with how both gentlemen would not leave until they both were satisfied that I understood everything about the lift. They both stressed the safety aspects I must use but did not make me feel in anyway a foolish woman. Thank you to all of your team who have been most courteous.

I had more or less seen enough stairlift companies when I was persuaded by James to let them do a survey. I have not regretted it. The survey, quotation and explanation of the features of the lifts were all explained very clearly. In the end, I opted for a Thyssen for my wife. The whole process was efficient and timely. Troy and Alfie arrived on time and carried out the work in the estimated timeframe. Their work was exemplary and they made sure we understood how it all worked before they left. There was minimal disturbance and they left the area clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. They kept me fully informed and were in contact throughout the period leading up to the installation.

I contacted Kudos Stairlifts for some information about a stairlift for my parents. The service from beginning to end was absolutely outstanding. We were informed and updated every step of the way. If anyone was even going to be 5 minutes late for an appointment we received a call. We were kept in the loop every step of the way. After fitting the lift; they would not leave until they were certain that my mother was 100% happy. The lift itself is of fantastic quality and the price was very competitive and good. It is very rare these days to experience such great customer service.

We had an Access Flow 2 stairlift fitted by Kudos about eight weeks ago - ample time to judge its worth. it has been a real success, my disabled wife is delighted with it, and I am very impressed with its engineering. It has two motors: one to drive the rack and pinion movement, the second to manoeuvre the attitude of the chair to match our stair layout. Three members of Kudos staff were involved in the choice, measuring its positioning, and finally the fitting, and all were very knowledgable about their product and very easy to deal with. It begins in the middle of the hall, rises and turns through 180 degrees to move upstairs on the internal banister side of the stairs, turns through another 180 degrees at the top of the stairs and parks on the landing It is truly made to measure and to neatly suit our requirements. I am sorry to be so enthusiastic and glowing about this stairlift but it smart and looks so good that I have no qualms about recommending it. Excellent service from Kudos, and I have a stairlift clearly way ahead of its rivals and undoubtedly value for money.

This was an excellent installation from beginning to end. Kudos stairlifts were recommended by another stairlift company who were unable to fit our staircase. The initial survey was very thorough and the digital survey was carefully and professionally carried out. The installation was achieved without fuss and disruption, and the site was cleaned after installation. A demonstration and tutorial ensured we knew how to use the stairlift safely . We were kept informed of developments throughout the whole process. All personnel,both on the telephone and in the house were very polite, considerate, helpful, friendly and obviously were well trained and knew what they were about. The whole project was well managed and we are delighted with our stairlift.

Everything was done on time, they kept in touch and checked that everything was OK. Neatly and professionally fitted, couldn't ask for better.

I am delighted with my stairlift and the service provided by Kudos. The office staff were unfailingly helpful; the initial site visit was really detailed and informative; the digital survey and ultimately the installation were carried out with great care and consideration and the minimum disruption. I have recommended Kudos to several people already and will not hesitate to do so in future.
