Lewis and his team capped my wooden soffits and bargeboards with UPVC facia. It is a nice job at reasonable cost. The work was completed timely despite poor weather disrupting the work schedule. Lewis is very helpful and personable which was reassuring.

Hard working and professional. New roof completed on budget and quickly. Everyone was professional and courteous. Excellent job and left everything clean and tidy. Would recommend.

We cannot recommend Lewis and his team enough. We were unfortunately let down by our first roofer, who provided a sub standard flat roof ( this is being polite ) that had rippled and looked awful as it was pooling water and dirt. We got Lewis out who supported us with multiple trips and even attended meetings with the manufacturer and training team to understand the best solution to correct this roof. Lewis has redone the roof and I cannot begin to explain the difference of what we were originally left with to now. The difference is huge and down to Lewis and his team technical knowledge and attention to detail. The team turned up on time , kept the site extremely tidy and very friendly and courteous to us. Lewis and his team went the extra mile with making the trims and upstands of the lanterns looks great with some extra touches on the finishing welds and made sure we were happy with the final output ( whilst talking us through the steps through the process ). I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my roofing needs and already plan on getting Lewis and the team back to do our new garage pitched roof. And he has also recently installed roof ventilation in our tiled roof due to issues from previous builder/roofer. Thank you again team !

L&E Leadwork have now completed three projects on my house over the past year: replaced leadwork over bay windows and within Victorian entrance portal; replacement wooden soffits and fascias to roof; and re-building of a dormer window. All work has been of excellent quality and delivered on time and within budget. The latest project (the dormer) was a challenge with a risk of losing the Victorian stone frontage, but Lewis went the extra mile to ensure the character of the structure was retained. He also replaced a couple of missing tiles on another part of the roof at no extra cost. Lewis is great to work with and has been really helpful and flexible throughout. He has a great team and I’ve been really happy with their work.

We are very glad that we found Lewis and the team (L&E roofing and leadwork) having spent a long time either not getting quotes for the work that we needed doing, or not trusting the companies that came to quote. Our experience was very positive for a full reroofing - reusing the high quality Victorian slates on the house where possible to reduce costs - and in removal of a chimney, as well as gutter and painting work. The team were instrumental in ensuring that a solar installation we had arranged following on from their work did not damage the new roof which would not have been the case if they weren't around. Thank you to Lewis and the team who were also a lovely bunch of guys to have around and endured the wettest of February's while the work was going on!

I needed a dormer window in the main bedroom insulated, because of condensation on the interior wall. I had been let down by another roofing contractor, so needed the work done urgently before the weather became colder. Lewis of L&E Leadwork and Roofing Services responded promptly to my request for a quote and promised that the work would be done before Christmas. Despite the poor weather conditions, Lewis scheduled the work on a dry day. The work was completed in an extremely professional manner and I am very pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending the company and will certainly call on them if I need any roofing work done in the future.

Lewis and his team - Jordan and Aaron - installed new guttering, felt-support trays with bird stops, and downpipes to suit our garden. They answered all my questions prior to the work being done and it was completed with care - especially as I had some unruly vines to wrangle. They also found a wasps nest but didn't let it stop them! Highly recommend - now asking them to add a roof vent tile (bathroom fan exit) and to look at covering our old asbestos garage roof.

L&E Leadwork And Roofing capped our cottage wall to stop water ingress. Their work was done quickly and to a much higher standard than what was previously done. The lead welded seems look brilliant. L&E are artisans in lead work. We will be using them to complete our conservatory conversion. Could not be more happy.

Fantastic service from Lewis and the team who went above and beyond to help accommodate and fix my roof tile. On the same day! Very reasonably priced and was great with communication by always keeping me up to date.
