We are very glad that we found Lewis and the team (L&E roofing and leadwork) having spent a long time either not getting quotes for the work that we needed doing, or not trusting the companies that came to quote. Our experience was very positive for a full reroofing - reusing the high quality Victorian slates on the house where possible to reduce costs - and in removal of a chimney, as well as gutter and painting work. The team were instrumental in ensuring that a solar installation we had arranged following on from their work did not damage the new roof which would not have been the case if they weren't around. Thank you to Lewis and the team who were also a lovely bunch of guys to have around and endured the wettest of February's while the work was going on!

I needed a dormer window in the main bedroom insulated, because of condensation on the interior wall. I had been let down by another roofing contractor, so needed the work done urgently before the weather became colder. Lewis of L&E Leadwork and Roofing Services responded promptly to my request for a quote and promised that the work would be done before Christmas. Despite the poor weather conditions, Lewis scheduled the work on a dry day. The work was completed in an extremely professional manner and I am very pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending the company and will certainly call on them if I need any roofing work done in the future.

Lewis and his team - Jordan and Aaron - installed new guttering, felt-support trays with bird stops, and downpipes to suit our garden. They answered all my questions prior to the work being done and it was completed with care - especially as I had some unruly vines to wrangle. They also found a wasps nest but didn't let it stop them! Highly recommend - now asking them to add a roof vent tile (bathroom fan exit) and to look at covering our old asbestos garage roof.

L&E Leadwork And Roofing capped our cottage wall to stop water ingress. Their work was done quickly and to a much higher standard than what was previously done. The lead welded seems look brilliant. L&E are artisans in lead work. We will be using them to complete our conservatory conversion. Could not be more happy.

Fantastic service from Lewis and the team who went above and beyond to help accommodate and fix my roof tile. On the same day! Very reasonably priced and was great with communication by always keeping me up to date.

Saw L&E on social media and gave them a call as was concerned about a leak in my roof. They attended next day to have a look and found the roof tiles and felt were in good order, but troubleshooted the issue to be a condensation issue in my loft. Fitted 4 vented tiles a few days later on the roof to fix the issue. Nice to have someone come around and not try and rip you off as they could have done, and the total overall cost was much less than expected. Also fixed an ongoing guttering issue when I mentioned on the day about it. Great communication from Lewis on pricing and then fitting a date into the calendar, then follow up call to make sure all is working as expected. Couldn’t recommend highly enough 👍
