We hired Lucas for a full house renovation after buying a new property and after interviewing four different companies. We were really happy with Lucas and his team's work: they did pretty much everything in the house (new kitchen, new bathroom, painting, floor, installing a made-to-measure cupboard under our stairs, new windows/door), everything is to a good standard and looking great. The whole team was always very friendly, professional and respectful, they were a pleasure to have at our home. Lucas gave very useful advice - it was our first renovation project and Lucas was incredibly helpful in helping us manage the project and choose different things for the house. Lucas also arranged a structural engineer to come look at something we needed assessed, arranged an electrician to deal with some bits, etc. - making our lives much easier and the overall cost lower. Something else we really valued: Lucas has come back to our house several times long after the project was gone (and long after he was paid in full) to fix a small issue with one of the windows he had installed, and was always helpful in giving more advice or help on those visits. We would definitely recommend his good work and his great team.

Lucas and his colleagues inserted a door from the hall to the garage and steps down from door to garage floor level. He and his team worked late to ensure that the work was done 1 day early and on the agreed schedule and agreed price. He knew the building regulations and had experience and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was very good at communication and kept us informed each day what he expected to be done. He provided us with a contract to protect both parties, specifiying what work would be done for the agreed price. We highly recommend Lucas' work and we would hire him again for future projects.

Lucas and his co-workers have recently completed a full refurbishment of our bathroom. Lucas totally embraced our needs and provided an excellent service from the beginning to the end, within our budget and very tight timeframe. The work had to be completed in two weeks just before christmas. It involved a full strip out of all floor and wall tiles and finishes and the installation of new wall tiles, engineereed wood floor, and a high quality polished render (venezia stucco) which was done very carefully. He has been particularily good at comunicating any potential issues arising during the work and suggesting ways to overcome them. I definitely recomend his services.

I’m was meet Lucas sometime in Jun/2019 Hi give me more idea about the refurbishment and was much better like we was planing. The price was not cheep but was reasonable. We was decide choice Lucas for the work and we are so much happy with the his professionalism and knowledge about the construction. From the start Lucas inform us about the all situation and discus with us everything. The work was complete on the time in high standard. Lucas completely renovated my 2 bed flat from scratch (after removing everything that was already there) and I am very pleased with the result! It now looks fantastic. He was very professional throughout, communication was excellent and he completed the job exactly as per agreed cost and time. He gave good advice throughout the project and often gave me options and consulted me frequently to make sure I was happy with the selections. He clearly has a lot of experience with similar projects which proved invaluable on my flat renovation as he was able to use his extensive experience to advise me on my flat renovation Above all he took pride in doing a good job at reasonable cost. And he finished exactly on the day he said he would finish and often worked long hours to make sure the project completed exactly on time. In summary Lucas is reliable, frequently kept me updated with progress and any problems, kept the project on time and to budget and as a result I am delighted with the result! I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any other renovation or building work.

I had a full renovation and rewire with Lukas's company. Included new bathroom, kitchen, floors, rewire, skim walls, skirting board etc. Lots of things went wrong, some were fixed were Lukas, others i fixed myself or paid other tradesmen to come and fix, some could not be fixed. I found the company unprofessional, for example, when the kitchen arrived without any elevation diagrams Lukas just guessed how it should be installed and did it anyway, without asking for elevations, consequently kitchen was installed wrong. Lukas was rushing and didn't like the howdens kitchen consultant so didn't want to talk with him. Very happy to provide verbal references and before and after photos etc.

Overall, Lukas did a great job - he finished things to a high standard, despite a couple unexpected changes. Lucas moved an en-suite bathroom, replastered all the ceilings, replaced the boiler and all radiators, put down new floors, and added new cupboards, banisters and book shelves. He did all this while we were living in the house. He moved our things and was careful to keep the mess and disruption to a minimum. He was also very friendly and helpful. He explained the decisions that we needed to make and helped us to choose and buy the materials (tiles, shower, etc) that we needed. He even helped us to get a discount for various items. He wasn't the cheapest - but we're very happy with the quality of the finish, and the fact that he finished on time! If we need more work done, then we would definitely see if Lukas is available.

Hi, We was planing to build extension and renovate house,renovate bathroom,kitchen we have couple of quote from different builders but we choice Lucas because on first meeting we was like his idea and we so much happy with the choice. From start we now all step and his plan which was make situation much more clear. Also he was preparate proper contract with all schedule of work,insurance,start date,haw long will take,payment plan. From beginning we was see progress.Lucas was inform me with all situation and also all unexpected work discus before any work was move forward. Is many other 1000 think which make mine decision that is the best builder with 100% high standard of work an we use this company again. I started off getting a number of quotes for the work, With Lucas you receive a quote, and then you receive a contract. He wasn't the cheapest but with the contract which is totally itemised you get piece of mind that what you ask for you get. He started work on the agreed start date diligently worked around another contractor, He worked well and was very good with the detail. There was always good communication about when he was coming and what he was going to do. Things progressed as expected, with many items there were options, such as the colour of the bricks and the doors and windows. These were discussed and in many cases we went together to look at the options and he ordered. We even left him to carry on whilst we went on holiday. He worked around our daily lives and always cleaned up after himself. Once all the work was complete, he has been back a couple of times where things were not quite to our satisfaction, he gave us a time and date of when he would get them repaired and did so without any fuss. I would totally recommend him as he did the construction aspects such as foundations and brick work well, but also the painting and decorating to a very high standard. There were things that weren't in the contract which he didn't have to do, but as someone who takes pride in their work, he did them and our home is better for having him complete them.

Lucas Builder rebuilt our garden wall after it had been partly knocked down by a large van. His work was of a high standard and the wall now looks better than new. He also provided some advice on protecting the wall from further damage and built a series of protective pillars as a precaution. He started the work on time, consulted us about any snags or options and finished the job in good. We have since used his skills for a smaller job which was completed to our satisfaction.

L & L Lucas Builder Ltd. did a refurbishment on our small bathroom. They stripped out and removed all the piping, fixtures and fittings as well as the wall and floor tiles and then completely re-fitted a new bathroom suite, shower-unit, shower screen, wall cabinet and re-tiled the walls and floor as well as redecorating. They finished the job within the allocated agreed timescale and did a very professional looking job. The wall tiles were done especially well. We were issued with a written contract to sign before the work was undertaken and we were asked to pay in instalments; the last instalment was not demanded until they had finished the job and were fully satisfied with the result. Lucas was at all times easy to contact by phone, text or email and he always responded quickly. After our tenants returned, one or two minor problems were experienced or identified but these were promptly and efficiently rectified by the Builder.

We needed to redo two bathrooms in our flat in east London. Two other builders came around to give quotes and were cheaper, but they seemed to either offer patchwork solutions or just see an opportunity for some quick money. Lucas took his time and gave us a realistic estimate based on quality work. Overall we are really happy with Lucas and his contractors. They did the work quickly and it was good quality. We had slight communication issues about what was and was not covered under the estimate, but were able to come to a good compromise. We also had some issues with attention to detail such as boxing in our toilet versus leaving a pipe exposed, but again I think that was down to a communication issue and he resolved it at no charge. We asked Lucas to come back and fix our plumbing issues in the kitchen as well and if we need anything else we will call him first!

I had quite a few people come to look at my little bathroom, some were quoting cheaper but they were not going into very much depth regarding the details of the job. Lucas was different so I went with him. He has done a great job of my bathroom and I would recommend him. I would say in-particular that Lucas is very communicative at all stages of the project, which is helpful. He is also a conscientious worker who is not afraid to take a few steps back in order to get something right. The bathroom looks good, but what you cannot see is all the work taken to get the walls straight, the floor straight, the pipes into the wall etc.

L&L Lucas Builders have renovated our 3 bedroom flat in Bromley and gutted the whole place out from top to bottom and also added an en-suite bathroom in the Main bedroom. I have to say the team have done a fantastic job through sheer professionalism, being pedantic and showing immense attention to detail. Lucas was in constant communication with me regarding the works and made me aware of any additional amounts that needed to be paid as we went out of the scope of original works, which he accommodated well for us. Lucas was very meticulous in his approach. First came over just to see the job, without charge. Then he returned a few days later to do the job, which was about re-sealing around the edges of our bath tub. He completed the job quickly and to very high standards. He then took the effort to call back to check if his work had solved our problem. He charged very reasonable rates, especially considering that he worked on a bank holiday. His rates seem much lower than many other companies'. Very much recommended!
