An Excellent company to deal with ! The system was adequately explained in understandable layman terms in a home visit by Elliot. The installation team arrived on time and worked tirelessly, efficiently, and cleanly all day until the equipment was installed and working. I would thoroughly recommend Lakes Solar to anybody thinking of purchasing a Solar System. Very pleased with the result.

Lakes Solar are excellent, they installed solar panels, an inverter & a battery. Great customer service from the start & quality of work. Communication great, we knew what to expect & when & we were consulted over aspects of the work such as cable positions. We were able to visit their showroom so we could see the kit we were getting & ask questions. The team were great to have in our house, clean & polite. We're very happy with our system & when we have had any questions subsequently, they've been answered promptly & clearly. The installation was completed on time & to the budget.

Lakes Solar provide a great service they are extremely knowledgeable and reliable. Not only did they design the system but they also provided both the in-roof solar installation and 10 KW battery liaising well with my roofers and electrician during the installation period. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a Solar Installer in both Cumbria or Lancashire.

Lakes Solar installed our solar panels and 5Kwh battery just over 9 months ago and everything has worked perfectly. The electrical installation was excellent and looks extremely professional. There customer service has been very helpful especially with configuring the inverter to charge overnight on Octopus' cheaper import tariffs. A recent addition of an electric vehicle charging point was completed quickly and efficiently, integrating with the current solar panels, battery and hot water heating systems to support charging an electric car without draining the solar battery Overall an excellent company to work with for both Solar Panels and EV charging points.

lakes Solar fitted a Solar battery for us. As we already had solar panels , we decided this was a good idea. Darren was always polite & friendly, explaining quite clearly the work that they needed to do. The quote he gave was very competitive & with no "hidden extras" . The work was undertaken by Matt, who had visited initially to survey the property & explain everything to us. He was very knowledgeable , always friendly & polite . The work was completed on the pre-booked date, all completed by tea-time, brilliant ! Everything was neat & tidy & Matt was very patient, explaining the technology to us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lakes Solar .

I could not recommend this company more highly. Their planning attention to detail, and quality of work are all first-class. They treat your house as if it were their own and are aware that aesthetics and finish are as important as the quality of the fittings. The team were very polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. From someone who is self-confessed OCD, I could not fault them. Great value for money with quality products and a system we are extremely proud of that is already reaping benefits for the provision of cheap power to our house.

The workman seemed to know his stuff, and was polite and respectful of my messay house. Company responded very promptly and did exactly what they said they would do. There was no salesmanship, to just do this or that. A bit pricey, but I imagine it's the price for the job. Would definitely use again if needed
