I am US based - Terry did furnace inspection and repairs for my flat in London without my having ever met him. Promptly responded to an emergency service - fitted in his schedule at a very short notice. Has been a great help for me as I have been communicating with him remotely. Overall very pleased with his knowledge and service. Recommend him highly!

Terry installed a new boiler approximately six years ago at my flat which I now rent out. When the current tenant was having difficulties the managing agent’s serviceman incorrectly diagnosed the problem and quoted an astronomical fee to replace all the pipework from the street! Knowing this seemed incorrect I asked Terry to diagnose as he installed the boiler originally. He found a basic fault and even arranged for Vaillant to come out later that same day to repair under warranty. Would recommend Terry to anyone as a professional and extremely experienced boiler technician.

I had a leaking boiler. Terry had a look and advised it would be better to replace rather than repair. He provided a quote for replacing the boiler and carried out the works the following day. He was very efficient and professional.

Terry did a really professional job in installing of a our replacement domestic boiler. He gave us independent advice on the most suitable boiler for our house. Getting a heating engineer in is no one's idea of a good time, but Terry made it pretty painless. He diagnosed a mildly mysterious fault with my combi boiler, obtained the replacement part at the best price and returned to fit it and to see to all the other bits of maintenance needed. I considered the price for the job very reasonable. This was only a couple of weeks ago, but if anything went wrong, I am confident Terry would be back to sort it out. A highly professional, personable standard of service and I learned quite a lot about boilers in the process (which I have now forgotten).

Terry replaced our boiler a couple of years ago, since when we have not had a moments trouble. Last week we had a new unvented hot water cylinder installed by Terry. Terry is an expert heating and plumbing engineer, who teaches students as well as running his own business. He knew he was competing against 2 other firms, one of which is also a Which? Trusted Trader. He warned us he would be the most expensive! In fact, his estimate was the lowest! But we employed him because on top of the recommendations on this page he was so knowledgeable about all the safety requirements of a complete boiler replacement where the boiler is situated in an internal cupboard off a bedroom. I have put a carbon monoxide meter in the room, and it constantly registers ZERO. The whole installation is first class and entailed also installing thermostatic baths taps and shower. Highly recommended.

Terry came and removed an old gas pipe in a bedroom which was making the installation of new flooring difficult. He came on the day that he said he would and dealt with it quickly even though he had been busy with emergency call outs. He was professional and efficient and good humoured in spite of a long day. The cost was very reasonable.

I called Terry Lambert and within an hour he was at my door. He started work and found the leak and repair it in no time at all, he is a very professional plumber . I also asked him about the radiators, if he could change them to new ones, he did this and will be sending me an invoice of the costs. His charges are very reasonable. Thank you Terry

Terry is a very professional tradesmen. We started to refurbish our property and needed a condemned boiler and old piping work replaced and brought up to modern standards. The end result is a completely new system and superb, neat and functional pipe work. Would highly recommend Terry.

Terry came, to the minute, when he said he would and in very short order had cleared up the problem- a blocked kitchen waste pipe which had caused a flood of the smelliest water imaginable. Most helpfully, he explained all that he was doing as he did it, and left the kitchen much cleaner than he had found it. Couldn't have been better; 5 stars on every count!

Terry was professional, speedy and just a lovely person to deal with. He reconstructed our pipework from top to bottom, moving our entire archaic water system from the top of the house to the cellar, fitted a great new pump system and boiler, and did it all very quickly and with minimal impact to our lives. Our friends and tradesmen came round to admire his handy work - the pipework is something else. The pressure and heat in our water now is fantastic, over four levels in the house and to all three bathrooms. Terry also really cares about customer happiness and is responsive to questions. I couldn't recommend him more.
