Lambert Heating & Renewables Ltd is an independent heating company based in Carshalton, serving customers across South London and Surrey.
Terry Lambert has 35 years’ heating-industry experience, including British Gas training and extensive fault-finding, servicing and repair work across a wide range of boiler and heating systems.
We specialise in boiler servicing, heating diagnostics, boiler repairs, boiler replacement, heating system upgrades, controls, water quality, low-temperature heating and heat pumps.
The business is Gas Safe registered, Heat Geek Elite trained and a Which? Trusted Trader. We are Viessmann Accredited, Vaillant Advance and Worcester Bosch manufacturer trained, with additional training across a wide range of manufacturers, controls and system technologies.
Our approach is diagnostic first. We aim to understand why a heating system is not working properly rather than simply replacing parts or equipment without evidence. This applies equally to boiler faults.

Terry fitted a new boiler for me .He was courteous,punctual and worked to his predicted time scales.He made valuable recommendations prior to the work, recommendations clearly in my interest not his. The disruption to my household was minimal.Upon completion all debris was removed. He was immaculately clean and tidy.His technical knowledge and advice,communicated to me in understandable terms, was of the highest caliber. His craftsmanship was top draw and his pipework has to be seen to be believed.His charges were very reasonable considering the first class job done. He has subsequently displayed great after care with meaningful communication with me.Would I recommend him-YES,YES and definitely YES,Marks out of ten,eleven !! Contact him well in advance because he will be in high demand.You will not be disappointed.

Terry is an expert heating and plumbing engineer, who teaches students as well as running his own business. He knew he was competing against 2 other firms, one of which is also a Which? Trusted Trader. He warned us he would be the most expensive! In fact, his estimate was the lowest! But we employed him because on top of the recommendations on this page he was so knowledgeable about all the safety requirements of a complete boiler replacement where the boiler is situated in an internal cupboard off a bedroom. I have put a carbon monoxide meter in the room, and it constantly registers ZERO. The whole installation is first class and entailed also installing thermostatic baths taps and shower. Highly recommended.

Terry came and removed an old gas pipe in a bedroom which was making the installation of new flooring difficult. He came on the day that he said he would and dealt with it quickly even though he had been busy with emergency call outs. He was professional and efficient and good humoured in spite of a long day. The cost was very reasonable.

I called Terry Lambert and within an hour he was at my door. He started work and found the leak and repair it in no time at all, he is a very professional plumber . I also asked him about the radiators, if he could change them to new ones, he did this and will be sending me an invoice of the costs. His charges are very reasonable. Thank you Terry

Terry came, to the minute, when he said he would and in very short order had cleared up the problem- a blocked kitchen waste pipe which had caused a flood of the smelliest water imaginable. Most helpfully, he explained all that he was doing as he did it, and left the kitchen much cleaner than he had found it. Couldn't have been better; 5 stars on every count!

Terry was professional, speedy and just a lovely person to deal with. He reconstructed our pipework from top to bottom, moving our entire archaic water system from the top of the house to the cellar, fitted a great new pump system and boiler, and did it all very quickly and with minimal impact to our lives. Our friends and tradesmen came round to admire his handy work - the pipework is something else. The pressure and heat in our water now is fantastic, over four levels in the house and to all three bathrooms. Terry also really cares about customer happiness and is responsive to questions. I couldn't recommend him more.

Our very old boiler died. We caller Terry Lambert and he came less than an hour later. We needed a while new system and it was all replaced including new boiler with high pressure water system. Terry explained everything he was doing all along the way. He was professional and courteous at all times. His workmanship is fantastic. Would highly recommend as many other people I know would also.

Terry replaced all the radiators and flushed the system in my mothers flat. He has done the work to an excellent standard, arrived when he said he would, and is so much more reasonable than other quotes. Terry Lambert replaced my crazy heating system three years ago and installed an efficient and streamlined system which works brilliantly. He is incredibly knowledgeable and can be trusted to do the work professionally and properly and not cut corners which will create problems down the road. Since doing that job he has serviced our boiler and dealt with all plumbing issues in our home. Terry called in the manufacturers warrantied service after faults with a Valiant boiler after only 2 years. They replaced the PCB, which did not solve the problem. He diagnosed the fault, worked with limited access to "tiled-over" pipework and fixed it quickly.
