A water leak was discovered coming from a pump in our flat on a Wednesday. Fortunately the leak was slow at that stage. Our normal plumber was not available, so I called Terry Lambert. He took a lot of trouble to source the right replacement pump - working efficiently with photos of existing connection. Terry then fitted the new pump two days later, thus avoiding a major problem.

Terry kindly slotted in a visit after a prior job finished early. Our hot water was therefore restored in double quick time. The unit just needed cleaning (blocked gas injector) and was resolved speedily. Very happy with the response, repair and overall cost. Unreservedly recommended to all.

Cold called Terry following Which Local reviews after my boiler broke down on coldest day this winter. He came over later that evening and got the boiler working, and returned the next day with a replacement part for a full fix. Great service and highly recommended.

We had no hot water on Friday 24 Oct. I rang Mr Lambert as our previous plumber was busy. He quickly assessed the problem from my answers to his precise questions. Despite having a busy workload, he promised to fit us in on the Saturday afternoon. He arrived when he said he would, confirmed the problem and replaced the motorised valve very quickly. Mr Lambert gave us advice and at all times was clear, courteous and helpful. We valued his service so we intend to call him again if and when we have other problems.

Terry has done a great job moving my boiler, he replied very quickly to my initial email inquiry. He came to advise and quote, he seemed very honest and knowledgeable. Found Terry highly recommended on another website and wasn't let down. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest, pleasant, a tidy worker and kept us informed about what he was doing. Terry came to explore a problem we have with the pressure on the boiler. He identified the problem and as the issue couldn't be mended there and then, he gave us a temporary fix which is holding up fine. Terry was with us for over an hour but the charge was much lower than expected which, he said, was because he wasn't able to sort the problem out. He gave us an idea of the cost of a full repair and, if necessary, a rough idea of how much a new boiler would be to install.
